La posizione dell'hotel era raggiungibile a piedi da Interlaken Ost. Era un vecchio edificio, ma l'interno è stato ristrutturato e non ci sono stati particolari problemi. Tuttavia, anche se il personale della reception ci parlava inglese molto velocemente, è iniziato con una risposta appropriata che non hanno detto nulla di importante e nessuno ha salutato il personale che si è incrociato nell'hotel senza un sorriso. A colazione ci sono gruppi di ospiti asiatici ed è vivace, Non c'era una guida ai posti, quindi quando sono entrato nel ristorante nessuno del personale ha detto nulla. Naturalmente, il cibo era sparso nella sala colazione e l'atmosfera non era buona. Ho deciso di non restare un'altra notte pensando a varie cose e mi sono trasferito in un altro hotel anche se avevo già pagato. Mi è stato detto che quando ho controllato. E' per gruppi? Penso.

Our stay was made especially great due to a wonderful member of staff Amir Khan. He went out of his way to assists us in any way he could. He was polite and courteous. He is a true gentleman and gem of a staff member, we highly appreciate his efforts.

Location – 9.5/10 The hotel is in a prime location, just a 5-minute walk from Interlaken Ost train station, making it a convenient base for exploring the Jungfrau region. It’s also a short walk to the Aare River, Harder Kulm funicular, and Interlaken’s main shopping and dining areas. The hotel itself sits in a quiet and scenic spot, offering great views of the mountains. Rooms – 8.5/10 The hotel offers both historic and modern rooms, so the experience can vary depending on what you book. Historic rooms (in the main building) feature high ceilings, elegant decor, and antique-style furnishings, giving a grand, old-world charm. Modern rooms (in the newer wing) are sleek and contemporary, with all the latest amenities. Some rooms come with balconies offering stunning views of the Swiss Alps, which is a major highlight! Beds are comfortable, and bathrooms are spacious and well-equipped with quality toiletries. Service – 8/10 The staff is friendly and professional, offering helpful local tips and seamless check-in/check-out. However, during peak tourist seasons, service can feel a bit stretched, especially at the reception and breakfast area. Dining – 8/10 Breakfast – A rich buffet with Swiss specialties, including fresh bread, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, and great coffee. The selection is good, though the breakfast room can get crowded. Restaurant & Bar – The on-site restaurant offers delicious Swiss and international cuisine, though the menu is slightly limited. The hotel bar is a great place to relax after a long day of exploring. Wellness & Facilities – 8/10 Spa & Sauna – A small but relaxing wellness area with a sauna, steam bath, and relaxation space—perfect after a day in the mountains. Outdoor Seating & Garden – The hotel has a lovely terrace and garden area for relaxing with a drink while enjoying the views. Parking – Limited on-site parking is available, but it fills up quickly.

Interlaken is right in the middle of Switzerland. Good location to visit nearby locations without having to carry your luggage bags everywhere. Winter time Harder Kulm is closed

Very value for money, room was modern, spacious, mini bar was complimentary and there was complimentary shuttle service as the hotel is a distance away from the train station

The room is well equipped with basic amenities and quality of products used in the room for guests are good. Hotel breakfasts are delicious. Overall the hotel experience at Royal at Georges is memorable and we are satisfied with the hotel stay there. The location is around ten minutes away from interlaken ost station. However there is clock tower nearby which chimes a lot during the night.

No way to book this hotel again

The hotel was nice and the buffet spread was good. The hotel also provide free transport to the train station during our departure.
