My recent visit to the gym at Class Suites Signature hotel, accompanied by my friend, unfortunately, left us with a less-than-satisfactory impression. While the coach on the first day presented a friendly and knowledgeable demeanor, offering effective guidance, our overall experience was marred by several concerning aspects. Unexpectedly, we were asked to pay an additional fee by the coach, separate from the gym subscription, which had not been clearly communicated in advance. We conveyed our intention to settle this supplementary fee at the start of the following month, once we were certain about our continued use of the gym. Additionally, during our visit, we were disappointed to find that three out of five machines were out of order. On the second day, our disappoin**ent escalated as the coach seemed disengaged. Despite being the sole clients present on both days, we observed the coach remaining seated, engrossed in his phone, and showing a noticeable lack of interest. Moreover, when we sought guidance on workout routines, the response we received was rather vague: "EXPLORE," he said, leaving us feeling uncertain about our fitness regimen. This left us speculating whether this response was influenced by our decision not to immediately pay the additional fee. While we acknowledge that everyone can have off days, the overall experience fell significantly short of our expectations. Notably, the gym subscription comes at a relatively higher cost. Despite the challenges we encountered during our visits, we did not hesitate to pay the amount, given that we were assured a coach would be available at all times. It's disheartening to note that the gym consistently remains empty, which may be attributed to the coach's behavior, possibly pushing potential clients away. Furthermore, I write this review after sending two complaint emails to the hotel, to which I have yet to receive any response. I earnestly encourage Class Suites Signature to take heed of the concerns raised, particularly focusing on areas such as clearer communication, equipment maintenance, and ensuring consistent trainer attentiveness. Implementing these improvements would undoubtedly go a long way in enhancing the experience for guests seeking to utilize the gym facilities.
