Grupotel Santa Eularia & Spa - Adults Only

We upgraded our twin room to a double suite & we were glad we did. We had a sea and pool view combined as our suite was a corner one. We appreciated the fridge & coffee making facilities & the space the suite provided. The only negatives was the 2 TV’s which we struggled to get UK channels with - one did & one didn’t.. It was not too much of a problem though because we didn’t watch it much anyway; the WiFi signal was very weak in our room at times too & kept dropping out which was a bit annoying. The staff were very friendly & helpful on the whole, although we had one disappointing experience with one of the restaurant staff when she was a bit rude and not very customer friendly by challenging my partner about placing a dirty plate on the neighbouring table due to the lack of space on our table .. she should just have removed it and should not have made an issue about it by ‘telling my partner off,’ for placing the plate there. The plate didn’t make any mess whatsoever so there was no need for her to say anything at all. We paid handsomely for our stay and don’t expect to be spoken to like that by any employee, never mind one who was half our age. She obviously needs training in customer service because she didn’t seem to know that this kind of behaviour is not acceptable. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would recommend the hotel - very clean across the board, excellent pool & spa facilities, in a lovely quiet location & we would definitely return again.

This is not a 4 star hotel. 3 star at most. Emailed about some money that went missing from our room, didn’t receive the courtesy of a reply.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Food was excellent especially breakfast, and the sweets at the evening meal. All the hotel was very clean especially the pool area. Only one down was because of our age and heat it was a bit far to walk into town so needed a taxi. Would be nice if hotel had a shuttle service.

Said near beach which was sea not beach. A good 20min walk into town which I’m a fit person but boy way out. Was only as no kids and lovely and quiet and relaxing by pool. No kettle in room Which think poor for 4 star first time didn’t check and couldn’t provide one and asking for hot water for a drink felt like a big deal. There is a small fridge but not that cold so asked for cup of ice, also big deal and only few given, said should have to paye. Didn’t in the end, was shocked and never been an issue asking for ice at hotels in past. Air con good in day but warm at night, thank god a bought a small travel fan. Had to paye got safe and deposit for towed, Would really expect more from a 4 star and not cheap, such ashame

No English tea bags at breakfast and wouldn’t replenish them, looking for tables in the morning as slow to clear tables. If you pay for the terrace should be exclusive use for the people that have paid extra, could not get a settee. Needs jacuzzi’s on the terrace would make this beautiful

Location was perfect for us also the relaxed feel of the place. The Sea View room was just perfect.
