We upgraded our twin room to a double suite & we were glad we did. We had a sea and pool view combined as our suite was a corner one. We appreciated the fridge & coffee making facilities & the space the suite provided. The only negatives was the 2 TV’s which we struggled to get UK channels with - one did & one didn’t.. It was not too much of a problem though because we didn’t watch it much anyway; the WiFi signal was very weak in our room at times too & kept dropping out which was a bit annoying.
The staff were very friendly & helpful on the whole, although we had one disappointing experience with one of the restaurant staff when she was a bit rude and not very customer friendly by challenging my partner about placing a dirty plate on the neighbouring table due to the lack of space on our table .. she should just have removed it and should not have made an issue about it by ‘telling my partner off,’ for placing the plate there. The plate didn’t make any mess whatsoever so there was no need for her to say anything at all. We paid handsomely for our stay and don’t expect to be spoken to like that by any employee, never mind one who was half our age. She obviously needs training in customer service because she didn’t seem to know that this kind of behaviour is not acceptable. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would recommend the hotel - very clean across the board, excellent pool & spa facilities, in a lovely quiet location & we would definitely return again.
