I recently stayed at Lisha Hotel, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The bathroom had a constant foul odor, and the plumbing system was a nightmare. Every time I took a shower, the water would flood all over the bathroom, reaching the toilet and sink. To make matters worse, there was a big gaping hole under the sink that allowed lizards and bugs to come into my room, which was unacceptable. Despite claiming to be a four-star hotel, Lisha Hotel fell far short of that standard. I would rate it as a two-star hotel at best, and I would give it a mere one star based on my experience. The staff at the hotel were not helpful at all. They lacked English language skills and were unfriendly. When I asked about train tickets, they claimed it was all sold out, even though I later found out that I could easily purchase them at the train station myself. Their misinformation and unhelpful attitude made my experience in Laos very difficult, and it has left me with no desire to visit the country again. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend booking at Lisha Hotel. The foul odor, plumbing issues, lack of cleanliness, unhelpful staff, and poor customer service are not reflective of a four-star hotel, and it did not meet my expectations. I would advise looking for alternative accommodations to avoid similar disappointments during your stay in Laos.

The hotel is very nice, with friendly staff and a good breakfast. They also have a rooftop bar which is great for watching the sunset. You can see balloons, paramotors, and other interesting sights from there. We'll definitely be coming back again!

Quando sono arrivato ho trovato un paio di capelli nel mio letto, marrone, (tutto il personale sembrava avere capelli neri, IVA) così incerto se le foglie fossero cambiate. Ho chiesto un cambiamento. Le foglie erano cambiate, ma non erano inclinate, ma sperava che fosse pulito. Le foto non sembravano un hotel, era fuori di testa e guardava sceso. Avrei detto 3 stelle hotel. Check-in è stato notato come 12, sono arrivato 1120 è stato detto di tornare a 1400, non 12 così non era grande. Il colazione era povero e non molto. E non copre su tutti così vola in giro. Se si arriva tardi è la stessa cena lasciata fuori che è freddo. Non fresca. È andato al caffè locale per la maggior parte dei giorni così trascorso il colazione ogni giorno, anche se pagato per questo. Il piccolo bastone come un giocattolo di un bambino è così duro da dormire che non si può fare a pezzi! La constrizione continua a russare così forte e i cani alla notte e gli ospiti erano così alto fino alle 2. Ho detto all'hotel che avrei dovuto dirgli, ma ho chiamato la ricezione e la ragazza ha detto che non c'era inglese e mi ha impiccato (la stessa ragazza che ho parlato il giorno dopo in inglese ...). Lei le ha detto e lei ha detto che si erano verificati, quindi non mi darebbero una nuova stanza. Tutti in un soggiorno di base, non hanno avuto molto sonno e di base. Io scelgo alcuni dei 4 hotel a stella vicino.

Grande posizione e personale amichevole. Durante il nostro soggiorno abbiamo trovato molti insetti, che è comprensibile dato che Vang Vieng è piuttosto circondato dalla giungla e è stata una notte pioggia. Tuttavia, ci svegliamo da un gigantico cazzo, e non c'era nessun personale o custode per gestire la situazione a metà della notte, quindi dobbiamo gestirla da soli. La colazione è stata bella e si gode sul fiume è un plus.

Questo hotel è situato sulle rive del fiume Chao Phraya. Alcune camere hanno la vista sul fiume. Il bar in alto al decimo piano ha una vista fantastica, ma non ci sono andato perché c'erano troppe persone. C'è un mercato notturno al piano terra dell'hotel che è molto comodo. Dista meno di 2 km dalle attrazioni dell'Arco di Trionfo e di That Luang. Le prese dell'hotel sono tutte rotonde, quindi ognuno deve portare il proprio convertitore. Non c'è molta varietà nella colazione. Lo svantaggio più grande è che la pressione dell'acqua fredda è troppo piccola e instabile. Quando si fa la doccia, sarà calda e fredda.

Honestly I have never needed to write a bad review for a hotel before, but I genuinely feel like I need to warn future guests at all costs to avoid staying in this hotel. There are genuinely realms of things I could state about this hotel, however I don't think they are even worth writing about in detail in comparison to the major issue we had. These smaller complaints include a leaking toilet that caused toilet water to smell up our bathroom, raging parties every night until all hours of the morning, rude guests that were taking pictures of myself and my friends by the pool and the staff laughing when we reported it to them, the eagle tied up next to the stairs for breakfast, the staff washing a dead pig by the stairs to the bedroom etc. The above complaints do not even compare to the treatment we received at this hotel, which has forced me to write this complaint. Myself and my friends woke up to a man (not staff) who entered our room in the early morning. One of my friends woke up, this is when the man panicked and left. We were very confused and felt very unsafe. A few more friends had been staying in another room, and the days prior had a couple walk into their room twice with their key. They were confused and presumed the hotel has given them the wrong room. Upon thinking of all these situations, we decided to test our room key on a different room that no one was staying in to see if the room keys were programmed to open all rooms.... low and behold they were. We felt extremely extremely unsafe as their was a man on the premises that had come into our room and men who continued to make us feel very unsafe by calling at us and taking pictures throughout our stay. We raised this issue to the owner and asked for a refund because we didn't feel comfortable staying another night. The manager ignored us and walked away from us numerous times because she didn't want to deal with us. Eventually, this heated encounter ended up with a threat to call the police. We left as we decided this hotel wasn't worth arguing with as they clearly had no regard for their guests and we had to spend a night at another hotel last minute. I worked in a hotel for 6 years and am absolutely horrified and baffled at the treatment we received. Genuinely, there are many other places to stay in much superior locations in Vang Vieng and I would avoid staying here at all costs.
