Hotel con terme a Yamanouchi

Altamente raccomandato! È un hotel a conduzione familiare e la proprietaria è molto gentile. All'inizio ero un po' preoccupato che potesse essere un po' vecchio, avendo aperto nel 1960, ma non lo è affatto. Lo stile dell'arredamento interno è molto giapponese. L'hotel offre un pacchetto pasti che comprende cena e colazione, che vengono consegnate in camera. Personalmente, penso che il pasto sia stato così così. La cena era solo Sukiyaki, qualche fetta di sushi al salmone e qualche contorno. Non mi sentivo sazio. La colazione è molto varia e viene presentata in una graziosa scatola. L'hotel dispone di un bagno privato dove è possibile fare il bagno. Nella stanza c'è solo uno spazio per lavarsi le mani. Dovrebbe esserci un solo bagno su ogni piano, separato per uomini e donne, e molto pulito. Oltre alla sorgente termale privata dell'hotel, vi verrà data anche una chiave per aprire altre sorgenti termali della città. Non è possibile fare il bagno nelle sorgenti termali della città. Al momento del check-in, la responsabile confermerà con voi l'orario del bagno privato, la colazione del mattino seguente e l'orario in cui accompagnarvi alla stazione. La proprietaria vi chiederà attentamente dove state andando, poi vi dirà l'orario di partenza corrispondente e poi procederà a ritroso a partire da quell'orario di partenza. L'unica cosa da tenere a mente è che la capo e suo figlio non capiscono molto bene l'inglese, quindi se non capisci il giapponese, avrai bisogno di un traduttore. Questo giocatore 2D pensa che la capoccia parli molto chiaramente in giapponese, un linguaggio molto più facile da capire rispetto alla parte di comprensione orale del test di giapponese.

Wow! An amazing little Ryoukan in a lovely town with fantastic owners. This ryoukan is a traditional old fashioned style with a lovely private onsen in pictures The room was large and your right on top of one of the 9 onsens. As a ryoukan in the town you will have access to the 9 healing onsens which you can use at your leisure and complete the denyouko towel for blessings The onsen is run by a lovely lady who is really friendly. Typical Amenities included plus free yukata and geta to borrow whilst your walking between hot springs plus free cold milk which is just heavenly after a hot soak. Honestly the cold milk really made my day!! 🥰 Air conditioning was very effective considering the size of the room and the breakfast was too much to finish and offered a taste of everything Lastly you are on top of the onsens as soon as you step out and monkey park is a 25 minute walk north but talk with the Owner, she has a link to the Monkey security cameras so can tell you ahead of time if theres any up there to see currently (i went during Estrus season so no monkeys for me) When it came to checkout the lady gave me a small bento of Onigiri and Pastries and even drove me down to the local station 10/10 would stay again

This is one of the best place I stay for my entire trip. It is a family run traditional ryokan with not many rooms hence the service was great and professional. They provide us a free shuttle from the Yudanaka Station to the hotel as well as the shuttle service to the snow monkey park area. I booked the room with breakfast and dinner included so I was quite impressed on the quality of the meals prepared for us. Very happy with it and we are super full after the meals. All in all we are happy with our stay and would highly recommend it to all.

La nostra famiglia ha fatto un viaggio speciale da Tokyo a Nagano, e oltre a esplorare le attrazioni circostanti, guardando le scimmie di neve scorrere nelle calde primavera di Nozawa, e visitando il santuario Togakushi, l'accento di questo viaggio si trovava a Issa no Komichi Biyu no Yado. Inizialmente, avevamo aspettative modeste, pensando che fosse solo un'altra esperienza, ma, quando siamo arrivati nella neve Yudanaka Shibu Onsen, siamo stati immediatamente impressionati dalla calda e professionale ospite. Dalle ricette con attenzione alla cena eccellente e alla meraviglia pubblica unica, tutti gli aspetti superavano le nostre aspettative e ci lasciavano piacevolmente sorpresi. Non è stato solo un soggiorno alberghiero, è stato un viaggio inoltrabile nel cuore della cultura giapponese. Se stai pianificando un viaggio a Nagano, questo è certamente un posto di visita per vivere la perfetta miscela di fonti calde e natura!

Little gem of a location and hotel. Close to see the monkeys of Yamanochi. We had a room with bed, breakfast and evening meal, which was so fresh and tasted amazing. The breakfast made sure we were set up for the day. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

It's a 10 mins walk uphill from train station so maybe better to try to contact them for a complimentary pick up. The place is super grand and 2 onsens. A Instagram worthy one that the males and females get to use it at different timings. The shower stuff in the onsen are mediocre though. No fancy facial stuff for women unlike some other onsens at this price range. We had breakfast and dinner for the 2 nights. And well worth it. But you have to follow a fixed timing and we felt a bit rushed but otherwise it was really great and service perfect. We had one the biggest rooms I believe Room 716. Had a sitting area and also a sleeping area. Easily fits 8 persons. We were only 2. In the day they kept the futons and brought it out at night. Towels changed every night. There is a van that goes straight to Mount Yokoteyama ski resort. The receptionist didn't seem to know about it but you could try to Google. It was a complimentary ride to and fro if you bought the lift tickets. Took only like 30 mins to get there. You can get rentals at hotels there.

Amazing Stay at Hotel Iwasuge – A Hidden Gem for Ski & Onsen Lovers! We had an incredible stay at Hotel Iwasuge, which truly became the highlight of our trip. While the interior may be a bit dated, the five-star service and exceptional food more than made up for it. We stayed for two nights on a half-board plan, and every meal was different, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. The hospitality was outstanding—every staff member was incredibly helpful and made us feel right at home. The location is perfect for skiing, with ski-in, ski-out access. There are two lifts right next to the hotel—one going up and one going down. The slopes nearby offer a mix of red and green tracks, making them ideal for beginners and families. Our kids especially loved the wide, easy slopes. We also rented ski equipment directly from the hotel (though helmets were not included). After a long day on the slopes, the Hoppo Onsen was the perfect way to relax. The onsen itself is so good that we noticed some visitors coming just for the hot spring experience! We have stayed in many four- and five-star hotels, and Hotel Iwasuge is truly one of the best. It may not be as widely known, but it absolutely deserves more recognition. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic ski, onsen, and gourmet experience in Shiga Kogen. We can’t wait to return!

Il servizio di trasferimento dell'hotel alla stazione di Yudanaka mi ha fatto un'ottima prima impressione. Sebbene le strutture siano un po' datate, il personale è molto cordiale, la camera è molto spaziosa e c'è una sorgente termale privata. Ogni mattina, l'hotel offre anche un servizio gratuito di trasferimento per lo Snow Monkey Park. Tuttavia, c'è una piccola pecca nel servizio che ho riscontrato personalmente. Al momento del check-in, l'hotel mi ha informato che il ritorno dallo Snow Monkey Park era previsto per le 12:00, giusto in tempo per l'autobus delle 12:30 per Nagano, ma in realtà erano le 12:30 del giorno dopo. Ho dovuto prendere l'autobus successivo per tornare a Nagano. Dato che c'erano meno autobus, era in ritardo di circa un'ora e mezza.

Located just within 3min from Yudanaka station, Raki Onsenryokan is run by a Chinese family. As a quiet town on its own, no one was tending to the reception when I arrived, after ringing the bell, a lady came down to help with the check in - very straightforward. I believe the family stays in the same building as they said if we ever needed anything, we could just ring the bell at the reception. Obviously I had booked a room too big for a solo traveller as this was the only room left as ”non-smoking”. Toilet and sink are at two different parts of the room which was a little inconvenient. Ryokan offers free drive (15min) TO snow monkey park, but not return, so please cater at least 35min to walk from park exit to the bus stop. Ryokan also provided a hearty breakfast, overall for the price paid it was a decent stay!

The room was very large and comfortable. What made the place great was the ping pong table, mini pool table. Once you understand the onsen process it is pretty easy. Note: restaurant is by reservation only. Dinner snow crab dinner is worth the price. Open bar. Also cash only needed do the hotel tax due at arrival.
