The hotel is large and spacious, with three interconnected buildings featuring an onsen, or hot spring, on the sixth floor.
The breakfast room's capacity is somewhat limited; we were seated on the third floor, a ballroom repurposed for breakfast, while the typical restaurant is on the second floor. Although the food is the same, the third-floor location lacks the ambiance and view of the second floor. While I understand that the hotel has many guests during peak hours, allowing guests to choose their seating would be preferable. We are not in a rush and are willing to wait; Japanese guests tend to eat quickly anyway.
The room and hot spring were satisfactory, though unremarkable.
The hotel's location is not convenient to the train station. If you are traveling by train, this should be considered, even though a shuttle bus runs hourly.

Friendly and helpful staff which capable to communicate with English.. breakfast is tasty but it would be better if they offer more choices..
oh ya not to mentioned the parking area is big and the children had a great time playing snow at the safe area as the car was not so many at the point of time

Super convenient, the hotel is located two
minute walk from Takayama station on the way it is fully covered so there’s no worry during a snowstorm like when I was there. Service was also amazing staff met the guest with a smile and when I didn’t have an umbrella, I was offered umbrellas for loan straightaway for free. The hotel also has its own Onsen and it was very convenient to see it crowdedness through the TV in your own room. There’s also a rest area where you can enjoy the view of Takayama from the top of the building and a foot spa for those who can’t do the full body hot spring which is very good for people.

Il servizio è stato eccellente. Voglio in particolare lodare la signora del desk front that day, perché abbiamo perso qualcosa nell'hotel precedente la notte precedente, e il servizio telefonico dell'hotel poteva solo parlare giapponese, quindi non potevamo comunicare. La signora del desk front di questo hotel era molto paziente nel aiutarci. Ci ha preso molto tempo, ma era sempre molto entusiasta.
L'hotel offre anche fonti calde all'interno e all'aperto, e il ristorante dell'hotel serve anche buon cibo. Il colazione mattina è stato anche delizioso con molta varietà. Era una piacevole esperienza di soggiorno.

It’s a pretty new hotel which is just a few minutes walk from JR station. The hotel onsen has indoor and outdoor pool. It’s about 15mins from hotel to Takayama old town. The only down side is that there is no parking for this hotel so for those that drive u have to park a distance away. The closest carpark is about 100m away but that carpark is expensive, if I’m not wrong u have to buy the ticket from the hotel reception and it’s yen2000 for 24hrs and it’s a one time entry. If u get the ticket direct from the carpark it’s yen3000. We park at another carpark that is slightly further away but it’s much cheaper at around yen500 from 1800-1000hrs, walking distance is around 4min from hotel

Good location-if you want to visit Kamikochi. The hotel is just about about 500 meters away from Hirayu bus station. The bus ride (from Hirayu to Kamikochi is about 20 minutes. Hotel staffs are professional, are good in problem solving and friendly. After a walk at Kamikochi, you can relaxed with onsen. The breakfast and dinner are Japanese food (set menu) with good quality and yummy. The hotel also provides lots of freebies e.g. refreshment, noodles at 10.00 pm.

This hotel exceeded our expectation! It is very near the Nohi Bus station and the JR Takayama station (3-5 min walk). Although we just stayed overnight, we had a memorable experience in Takayama Ouan. The hotel has a lot of freebies for their guests. They have a booth in the lobby where guests can get free brewed coffee, hot tea, and green lemon iced tea. They also provide free socks since the hotel have tatami flooring. What we also loved about this hotel is the onsen (separate public onsen for male and female, and 3 private onsen). They also have a freezer where guests can get free iced cream after bathing. During past 9 pm, they also have free ramen for their guests. The room is spacious, and the view from our window is also nice (the roads and establishments covered with snow). Aside from the free stuff and great amenities, we also appreciate the kind and friendly staff members. We accidentally lost the luggage claim tag (and we are willing to pay for it) but they didn't charge us anything.
When we go back to Takayama, we will definitely stay here again.

Gli interni di un vecchio hotel sono stati rinnovati e nel complesso è ancora un hotel con un elevato valore CP.

1. C'è spazio per miglioramenti nella pulizia.
2. Il rubinetto perde e il supporto della doccia è difficile da usare.
3. L'odore di fumo oleoso nella hall è estremamente forte

LLuomsYuu è un ryokan sorprendente. Abbiamo avuto un piacevole soggiorno di due notti lì. Il colazione di stile giapponese (puoi scegliere occidentale o giapponese, ma ovviamente il vincitore è lo stile giapponese) & cena inclusa nel pacchetto è semplicemente sorprendente! E sii sicuro di provare anche Takayama Sake.È così buono con il carne di carne di Hida:) solo non può ottenere abbastanza.
Per arrivare dalla stazione di Takayama JR (anche la stazione di autobus), assicuratevi di prendere l'autobus che va all'ipposui. Non abbiamo noleggiato una macchina perché non siamo abituati a guidare in un clima neve. Ma tutti i lavoratori di Yuu sono super amici, anche ci guida per un breve viaggio fuori ...
E, naturalmente, anche il ciccione è sorprendente!

SShaogongIl 10/12/2024 si è verificato un problema imprevisto durante il viaggio da Toyama a Takayama e non sono riuscito a salire sul treno giusto, con conseguente ritardo nell'arrivo alla stazione Takayama Honjin Hiranoya Annex. Ma la Sig. ra Zhu, un membro dello staff dell'hotel, era ansiosa per noi e ha preso l'iniziativa di occuparsi di compiti che non erano di suo compito. Ci ha aiutato a controllare l'orario di arrivo di altri treni a Gaoshan e ha comunicato con lo chef per conto nostro. Con il suo aiuto, lo chef ha posticipato l'orario di chiusura originale della cena dalle 18:40 alle 20:40 e ci ha consegnato il delizioso e preparato con cura sushi in camera. Quando l'autista dell'Annex ha saputo del nostro ritardo, ci ha aspettato senza lamentarsi e ci ha prelevati alla stazione alle 21:40. Quando siamo arrivati alla villa, la signorina Zhu ci stava già accogliendo calorosamente alla porta. Tutte le registrazioni erano state organizzate. Ha introdotto in dettaglio l'orario di utilizzo di tutte le strutture dell'hotel, il luogo e l'orario del pranzo, e aveva già organizzato tutte le questioni per il giorno successivo. Siamo finalmente riusciti a tranquillizzarci e ci siamo sentiti completamente a casa in quel momento. Takayama Honjin Hiranoya Annex gode di un'eccellente posizione geografica. La casa con lo stile architettonico tradizionale giapponese consente alle persone di sperimentare una vita rilassata ed elegante. L'annesso è completamente attrezzato con servizi. Puoi anche goderti lo splendido scenario delle montagne mentre ti immergi nelle sorgenti termali, il che è davvero confortevole e accogliente. UUtente ospiteStayed there with as a family of 3. While I really wanted to like the ryokan due to the warm service and great feedback from friends, my own experience was a bit disappointing. We have stayed in many traditional ryokans prior to this and were familiar with the setup. We are appreciative with the warm service and sincere touches; like candies at check in, but the ryokan itself is really quite old and in need of a refresh.
Our room is tucked away in a corner and required us to go down a small flight of stairs to reach. I am not sure if the location meant that is a bit colder than the rest of the rooms but we really did feel cold and the heating was inadequate. The in built heater would also stop and beep in the middle of the night, which led 2 of us falling sick at the start of the trip. We requested for a additional small heater which helped a bit. Second night, our 9yo son also got many mysterious bites all over his leg. He claimed to have seen a bug crawl under the tatami mat but we were not certain and therefore did not feedback to the ryokan as we only had one more remaining night to go. We had only stayed 1 night in nagoya's marriott associa hotel prior to our ryokan visit, and his skin improved after we left Takayama, leading us to think that it might have been the stay there.

JJohnWe tried to book this lesser known hotel in the area and guess what, we were glad we did got the opportunity to stay in this lovely hotel. The staff was kind and sincere even though they tried their best to speak converse with us in english. The room we stayed in was those like ryokan kind with a toilet in it. Shower area are shared among other guests which is linked to a shared indoor and outdoor onsen areas as well. They have a private onsen as well which you do not need to book, just need to lock the door outside to inform people that you're using it.
The best part of this experience is that we opted for dinner and breakfast and we were just blown away especially the dinner course menu. They provided like 10 different type of dishes for you to taste which includes the iconic hida beef as well!
Everything for one night is so affordable around SGD $200+ which is definitely worth it!

Molto bello hotel. Ci siamo fermati in una stanza giapponese.
Non abbiamo cenato in hotel e dobbiamo uscire quando fanno il letto per la sera. Ci hanno detto di rimanere in camera ma ci siamo sentiti in viaggio. Erano molto efficienti e è stato fatto in meno di 15 minuti. L'hotel era piccolo e ci erano 2 ali diverse. È un po' difficile prendere 2 ascensori differenti per andare a cena/bagno. Il divano frontale era serio ma non parlava inglese.
I bagni all'aperto erano davvero carini. Devi prendere un piccolo ascensore inclinato a cabina che si opera da solo per arrivare lì. Altrimenti un corto salto/ scale.
La colazione era splendida e una delle migliori che abbiamo vissuto durante il viaggio, gli ingredienti erano freschi e le porzioni erano solo belle.

TTSANGWe visited to Yakidake Garden Hotel in Feb’24. First of all their outdoor onsen is absolutely worth to pay a visit. Think about you may enjoy fantastic snow view while relaxing in comfortable onsen with love one and friends in group (body wrap cloth is provided by hotel). Secondly the hotel is surrounded by wonderful view. You can even see waterfall from corridor window! Last but also I recommend this hotel the most is their package meal and service. Hida beef included set dinner is served at high level standard. Staffs are helpful, rooms are tidy and well equipped.
We absolutely will come back upon next visit to Takayama area.
