Enjoyed my three day stay in Hualien very much. The hotel was clean, new and the rooms were large. The service was top notch and the breakfast offered a nice variety of healthy and nutritious food. I especially enjoyed the free late night snacks like ice cream and drinks. For the price we paid it was amazing.

best hostel in hualien. great comfy beds clean toilet and room. very social hostel where i made many friends as the common lounge area is nice and easy to socialise. convenient stores are really close and the train station is literally at the opposite side of the building and the entire building has different themes in every floor which i really liked. so highly recommended

A Scenic Stay with a Convenient Catch My stay at Hotelday Hualien was a bit of a mixed bag. It has some genuinely charming touches and a great view, but its location and certain amenities require some adjustment. Location & Transportation: The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the Hualien Train Station, which is fantastic if you're arriving by rail. However, I soon realized that the train station is not the city center. The main downtown area is a significant distance away—about a 40-minute walk. This means you'll either need to plan for long walks or rely on taxis and buses to get to the main dining and night market areas. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's something to be aware of. The Room: The room itself was a highlight. It was spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of exploring. The best feature was the large window that faced the train station, with a stunning backdrop of the mountains. It was incredibly scenic and made the room feel bright and open. While the room was comfortable, I did notice that the overall design and some of the furniture felt a bit dated. It's clean and functional, but don't expect a super modern aesthetic. Amenities & Service: This is where the experience was a bit uneven. The gym was quite disappointing. It only had a stationary bicycle and a treadmill. There were no weights, no multi-gym, nothing for anyone hoping for even a basic strength workout. It felt more like an afterthought than a proper facility. On the other hand, the service had some truly thoughtful highlights. When we asked for ice, the hotel staff kindly delivered some to our room, which was a nice touch. The Special Touch: The most memorable part of the stay was a small, heartwarming gesture. The hotel provided us with complimentary postcards. The unique part? They offered to mail them for us, but not right away. They will send them exactly one year later. It's a lovely idea—a little time capsule from your trip that arrives as a surprise in the future. Overall: Hotelday Hualien offers spacious, comfortable rooms with beautiful mountain views, and its proximity to the train station is a plus for travelers. The thoughtful service, like the ice delivery and the ”postcard to your future self” program, adds a warm, personal touch. However, the distance from the city center and the very basic gym are drawbacks. It's a solid choice for a comfortable night's sleep near the station, especially if you appreciate sentimental gestures, but be prepared for the travel time to the main attractions.

Ho trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso al Charming Hualien Hotel. Il personale è stato incredibilmente accogliente e attento, le camere erano pulite e confortevoli e l'atmosfera tranquilla e rilassante. Anche la posizione era molto comoda per esplorare la città. Un hotel delizioso che ha reso il viaggio ancora più piacevole. 🤗

Il parcheggio intorno all'hotel è molto conveniente. Non è necessario parcheggiare fino al parcheggio meccanico sottostante ～ La stanza è pulita. Solo la porta della stanza ha un sapore di fumo ～ Si consiglia che l'hotel possa fornire un lucidatore di vento doppio come l'hotel giapponese ～ Il tetto del pavimento ha un lavandino e una piccola piscina di piede di zolfo che può distanziare il panorama di Citigroup, porto di Citigroup, Sento molto rilassato ～ Colazione con zucchero e latte fresco molto aggiunto!Anche se il piatto è semplice, può anche mangiare dolce, e il gusto è buono 😋

Camminare lentamente e andare lentamente, questa gita di fiori è diventata più facile perché vive qui.È vicino al mercato notturno di East Gate, si può camminare, ci sono molti cibi e negozi lungo la strada.La camera è ampia e confortevole, non c'è senso di congestione, e vivere molto tranquillo. Personale dell'hotel: la metà di loro erano molto amichevoli, l'altra metà non era così amichevoli o non molto esperienze. Ho avuto un problema con la stanza con un rumore acustico e mi hanno finalmente aiutato a cambiare le stanze dopo avermi lamentato. La stanza stessa è molto piccola, ma il lobby è molto bello, ha cibo gratuito e si sente rilassante e moderno. La posizione non è cattiva, circondata da cibo e camminabile per la stazione ferroviaria.

Best value and reasonable price for budget travelers. -Location Easy access by bus 301 (every hour) from the station, otherwise Taxi would the best option ($140). Many restaurants, department store, supermarket, laundromat, convenience stores, cultural and creative industrial park and so on. -Room Spacious, old bathroom but partly updated room. Cleaning service was provided everyday if needed. NO bottled water provided, however, they have a goods section which you can purchase bottled water, lazar, toothbrushes etc for only NTD5. Bed was nice and firm, comfortable:) -Staff Very kind and friendly, both staff I spoke to could communicate in English and a bit of Japanese. Reception closes at night so you need to use your card key to get back into a hotel. Overall 4 star, would love to stay here again if I ever go back to Hualien.

I think it is maybe easier for chinese people but for no chinese if you don't konw how to read it is difficult to make the check in. We arrived in the hotel but they were no one in the reception. So we wait like 30min, no clim, in the dark. The reception should be open at 4pm but there is no one. So we decide to scan the QR code on the desk all write in chinese. And after we got some message from the owner, who said that was self-checking. Its was easy after but they should told us before or put a sign.
