Cabana Hotel Saigon - Ly Tu Trong

This is place is highly overrated with false reviews the rooms are dirty and mouldy. Breakfast is average, one morning they couldnt even provide coffee.Reserved the family room , was charged for family room and provided with 2 single beds. When i quickly returned to reception they told me that the family room was under repair, although it didnt stop them from charging me extra. The worst hotel, i have ever stayed in through Asia

Avoid this hotel. This is the dirtiest hotel, we have ever stayed. There were stains everywhere, the bedsheets were yellowish and for sure not washed. I made the reservation over Booking, when I wanted to write a review to warn people, my booking (after our staying) was cancelled by them as we didn't show up. ***?! The receptionists were friendly but they couldn't answer any questions. The only positive points was the location.

We booked this hotel , on arrival there was a lot of chaos as 6 people, individuals bookings ,where in the office demanding to get their money back as the rooms were not same as described and photos did not match rooms, there wasn’t the amount of beds requested etc . The atmosphere was horrible. We are shown our room . It was not that show in the photos by any standard!! We had booked a deluxe king size, this was not , DELUXE!! Due to the chaos downstairs ,we felt sorry for the staff and decided to stay regardless of the falsely advertised room which was no up to standard to stay the two nights booked . We payed 500, 000 d deposit instead of handling over our passport as requested . When checking out they then demanded we pay for a towel that I had used after showering . The towel was used and was a little grubby as we had been out all day in the polluted air of the city . They demanded we pay for it !! I strongly disagreed with this . We did have to pay eventually ,as we needed to catch a lift. Basically the towel was used and  needed washing as would any towel after use . This hotel then has registered me as cancelling the booking!! I guess this is so we can’t rewrite a review? This hotel is not a 9.2 reviewed hotel . The other people who left said they were going to write a review but they obviously were blocked from doing so too ! this hotel is a disgrace.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. Location was really good as all sightseeing areas were within comfortable reach. In short I can say that our stay was something memorable to cherish. The only drawback we could notice was the breakfast. Everyday the same menu, really boring. Highly appreciate if they could keep a note of it.

Clean and spacious rooms, very good breakfast and lovely and helpful staff at the reception. Great location, just a few minutes walks from the market and around 15 minutes walk from the War Remnants Museum. I stayed at the hotel with my boyfriend and we also enjoyed having a drink on the lovely rooftop. Highly recommend :)
