Non potendo prenotare un hotel a Osaka, ho deciso di visitare Himeji. Era fantastico: ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, situato tra la stazione JR e il Castello di Himeji, raggiungibile a piedi, proprio lungo la via dello shopping, al riparo dal sole. L'hotel era relativamente nuovo e pulito; articoli da toeletta e tè erano disponibili al primo piano. Il tetto offriva una vista sul Castello di Himeji, con splendidi tramonti. Anche il ristorante/izakaya dell'hotel era eccellente, a prezzi ragionevoli e offriva menù fissi a base di manzo Wagyu (Himeji sembrava più economica di Osaka). I bagagli potevano essere depositati dopo il check-out e ritirati più tardi. C'era un supermercato locale nelle vicinanze dove si potevano acquistare sushi e sashimi con uno sconto del 40% la sera, il che lo rendeva molto conveniente.

Very good breakfast buffet. Clean but no room to room phone. Also no water provided or ice machine.

This is a five star hotel in a three star body. Rooms are TINY, like scandanavian homes, but everything was clean and fresh, staff were outstanding, we could store out bags before and after our stay, missing personal articles available for free downstairs. Clear rooftop vie of the castle so you don't have to leave the hotel for beutiful shots of the castle. Near a huge gorgeous, covered pedetrian only walking are. Only sorry to have had only one night here.

Great hotel located in between the station and the castle, good service, extraordinary view and nice food.

I've stayed here several times. It is reasonably priced and close to shopping and the castle.

Great stay. Location is very good, restaurants, shopping areas, buses and train stations are all within 15mins walk.

The complimentary high tea was no longer available. The morning breakfast is a box containing cold sandwiches. Parking fee is expensive.

The staff were nice enough but gave very little information about the facility and it was only from looking at the guide I knew about WiFi etc. there’s also a rooftop terrace, laundry, rest area etc which they didn’t mention and I didn’t use because of this. Breakfast didn’t look anything special and was a little cold but actually tasted far nicer than I was expecting. Hotel is old but otherwise ok, small rooms as per Japan. Bit of an odd location as its just outside a shopping centre you had to walk through from the station to get there but it’s about halfway between the station and castle

Hotel is located very close to Himeji castle. Location was great. Personel was very friendly and hellpful. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good and varied. Price was very low as well. Would book again if needed.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, close to the castle and very close to delicious restaurants, bars and shops. It is only a 10 minute walk from the train station, so very easy to reach. Hotel is clean and has everything you would need. Top tip: if it rains there are covered roads, 1 road inward from the main road. So almost no rain when walking here.

Just okay! Near Himeji Castle

Nice hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff. They went out their way to make my stay enjoyable. A couple of guys at reception spoke great English. Great roof terrace with view of castle. 500 yen to use a well equipped gymn about 60m from the hotel. Slept well here.
