Reserved here through a hotel ”finding service” at the airport. Rule #1 DON'T DO THIS. Reserve places yourself. They obviously get a kick back. I was charged $50. I checked reviews and found out the hotel was only $20, so I asked to cancel. ”CANNOT CANCEL”. I was assured I'd get the best room at the best rate. They would not change my reservation to a different hotel. Hotel is near the airport. That is surely the only positive about this place. There are about 20 stairs to access the lobby from the street and no hand rail. My room was big and on the 5th floor, #504, with views of the busy highway and truck traffic, and the noise that comes with that. There was no ”decor”, just a bed (with dirty, wrinkled, grey linens), a florescent tube on the wall, a very small television, a battered tiny refrigerator on the floor in one corner, and two folding chairs with a vase of plastic flowers. The room smelled awful. The most identifiable component of the odor was urine. The bathroom was filthy. The grout was black. There was rust on the fixtures in the sink. The ”shower” was a hand held arrangement and there was no curtain. The smell of urine was overwhelming. The toilet paper roll had clearly been dropped into something wet. It was puffed up and wrinkled around one end of the roll. There was nothing else available -- and a phone number nine digitis long didn't work when I called to try to get another roll of TP. The peep hole in the door had a wad of paper stuck in it. I think the apparatus had been installed backward, allowing people outside in the hall to look into the room instead of the other way around. This was the chosen solution to the problem. At 1:30 a.m. there was a very noisy altercation in the hallway outside my room. Bumps and thumps, raised voices, shouting. Maybe even a murder? Sounded like it. The ”all tile” hallways echoed the riotous exchange throughout the entire floor. No sleep after that... I skipped breakfast which was included because everything was so dirty. If I could give this place a zero I would. Without a doubt, the worst hotel I've ever stayed in after several decades of travel. Stay here at your peril!!

This hotel is perfect if you have a few hours to kill before a connecting flight. The hotel collected me at the airport and drove the short journey to the hotel without any fuss. The room was clean and had a tv, air conditioner and ensuite bathroom and a very comfortable bed. They have a few items on the hotel dining menu I ordered some rice with chicken and it was presented well and tasted delicious. I had a really good rest before my early morning flight to Delhi and then the hotel were ready to drive me back to the airport. It was absolutely perfect. You can literally see the hotel from the hotel without any of the noise. The experience was so good, I will always use this place for flights with a stop in Hanoi. Its more than you can expect from a budget hotel and the staff were extra friendly.

The lady at the reception were super friendly and helpful. The facilities were amazing for that price. The lady made amazing light breakfast for us even though we refused to eat as we weren’t expecting much from the breakfast with this price but they surprised us with fresh and warm breakfast. If you want to go from this hotel to hanoi old quarter, better ask them to book a taxi for you. There is a visible difference of 50,000-60,000 dong between their prices and grab. They are much cheaper

Sono passate 5 ore qui mentre il mio volo da Londra è arrivato a Hanoi alle 5 e non sono riuscito a controllare il mio hotel fino alle 12:00. Il receptionista era molto utile e parlava un po' di inglese, le toilette vicino all'hotel pod erano molto pulite e poco usate. Il pod era buono, perché potevo andare a camminare e lasciare il mio bagaglio bloccato nel pod. Il ricevitore ha anche cambiato alcune note grandi che ho ricevuto dalla macchina monetaria in basso verso denominazioni più piccole (essenza per il tipping in Vietnam). L'hotel è situato sul livello 2, in alto l'escalatore, alla fine di quel piano. Nb l'hotel è terraside non airside, quindi è necessario ottenere un visto Vietnam per chiarire l'immigrazione. Le istruzioni inviate dall'hotel dicono che è necessario “clara sicurezza”. Ovviamente questo significa immigrazione. L'hotel è situato terraside NO airside. Chiunque abbia qualsiasi senso comune può dire questo. Per entrare in Vietnam è necessario ottenere un visto online e si può trovare il link a questo sul sito web di viaggio di Sherpa. Questo richiede un paio di giorni per processare e non è un compito difficile come è tutto fatto online. Quindi i commentatori che erano solo in transito in Vietnam e prenotavano l'hotel e non hanno ottenuto il visto, così non potevano andare a terra, per usare l'hotel pod dovevano fare un po' di lavoro a casa prima di lasciare casa.

If you are expecting a five star resort for the cost of a hostel you will be disappointed. If you are expecting friendly staff, that you may have try to communicate with because you are in their country, and you don't judge the area as unsafe because there are not many street lights, I think you will appreciate a stay here. I had a great experience with the staff. We arrived late at night, had little to no trouble getting into a room and we were more than satisfied with the room we were put in. The mattresses were stiff, but I did not find them any more so than other places in Vietnam. English communication was not as easily done, however, the staff was obviously trying to be very helpful in communicating with us. We utilized Google Translate and had no issue getting information for the stay. Also, I am in Vietnam, so I would expect that it is partially on me to try to communicate in Vietnamese. The hotel is in a back alley entrance with not many lights around. I would not call it dangerous. I walked around later at night and was able to find a family restaurant nearby as directed by the staff, as well as there were locals in a nearby square doing what looked like a communal dance class. The next morning the same square was filled with an organized volleyball match. It hardly seemed like a spot that was sketchy, more just dark. The area is not busy late at night as it is not surrounded by residential housing and it is about 2 km from the airport. The breakfast was a bit of fusion cuisine between local foods and western food. You could eat your fill of either, and the location is the top floor of the hotel giving it a nice view of the surrounding area. Again, a quick glance from that vantage point puts the alley entrance as a scary area into a different perspective. Lastly and most importantly, we had a special request with some luggage difficulty we had in our travels. It was a ridiculous thing for us to request from the staff and they went above and beyond to help us out. I would have no issue staying here again. Also, if there was a problem with the stay, I think I would have no problem sorting it out appropriately with the staff that I met there.

The hotel had the fastest check in ever out of 20 countries and multiple cities I've visited! Going to the airport at 6:30 am, it took 5 minutes for our Grab taxi to arrive and 10 minutes to get to the international terminal. It's in a desolate place, and seems like a quiet village, but there are several restaurants on the block and a convenience store.

The location was good. You can get there to this hostel by walking through from the airport. The desk kid's attitude was so nice and helpful. They rent motorcycles and price was enough. But one thing! Bed sheets never changed. Hygiene was so bad!
