A 2 night stay at the Innside Hamburg Hafen was a pleasant one. It was a work trip for me so it hit the mark. The staff were excellent on reception, the rooms were clean and a decent size with AC and windows that open slightly. The breakfast was good with lots of healthy options. They hire bikes for 14 Euros a day which worked out a great way to get round this pretty flat city! As a female solo traveller I felt safe here and would recommend a stay here when in Hamburg.

I liked the vibe of the hotel. It is kind of hard to get to because of the construction but isn't their fault but be aware

The room I got was towards the parking lot so it was a bit more quiet than towards the street but you could hear the trains in the distance sometimes which wasn’t too bad though. The noise that annoyed me more was the people outside and the staff because they have no carpet but imitation wood which makes it way louder. Also some staff member knocked 9am on my door aggressively even tho I pressed that button for “do not disturb” (I don’t know if I operated it correctly tho) The room is very modern and larger. A lot of space even for two people. I liked the open bathroom concept and the free drinks in the mini bar. Everything was very clean but I find it a bit poor that there is only one pillow while everything else seems more luxurious. It would also be nice to have more signs in the hallways where the elevator is. Went into the wrong direction several times because the hallway is just empty with no sign where I can get out

We were in the hotel for 2 nights. Hotel is modern, rooms are comfortable, breakfast very good, personal friendly, late check out, fitness room nice and well equipped, great dinner at the hotel restaurant... Could be improved: the cleaning. The cups in the room were not clean. One of them had a dark deposit at the bottom that I could easily remove with a humid paper. The other cup had also some rest. The last morming we found an insect in the shower, a kind of centipede.

Great stylish room and fantastic breakfast. Easily walk to many nearby museums and the main train station. Too much graffiti in the neighborhood.

Great hotel for the value. There's not much to see around the hotel itself, but its location is ideal if you're driving to see The Lion King (and honestly, it's not too far a walk from the downtown area). Plus, the service/friendliness of the staff, comfort, and amenities of the room make up for it.

Innside bookings made a hideously stressful time, much more difficult. We booked a stay for the 27th July 2023, just a week before travel. Unfortunately my husband had to undergo emergency surgery for an acute condition. We emailed the hotel with 3 days notice to say we couldn't come, but would like to reschedule the booking, WITH documented evidence of the hospital report. This hotel chose to continue with full cancellation charges. A total disgrace.

I was only there for a very short stay but everything was very nice and clean. No problem with leaving my backpack there either. I wish there were some amenities to prepare coffee also instead of just tea, but that’s alright.

Clean and Nice hotel , surrondings are not the best

This was my first time in Hamburg and first time in Melia hotel. However I would like to say a big Thank you to AJ. He provided us with grate customer services at the Bar and made us feel welcome. He also give us good places to visit during our stay in Hamburg. AJ provided me and my family an fanaticise couple days in Hamburg.

Very spacious room, door separating kids from parents

Staff extremely nice and welcoming. Rooms comfortable and good amenities. Close to bus. Traveling from the US and everyone spoke English which was a plus for us. Breakfast was wonderful. Would highly recommend.

Very clean functional design hotel, get helpful friendly staff, very good value for money

Very nice, clean modern hotel. Check in and out was without hitch - English was very well spoken by the receptionists. The hotel is about a 20 minuet walk from the main train station and not city centre or the prettiest of areas - as a lone traveller who only wanted somewhere to sleep, this wasn't an issue for me. Quirky bedroom! The shower and wash basin are 'open style' - almost as if they'd forgotten to build the wall to make a separate room! Fortunately the toilet was enclosed! So if you're shy in the shower or would rather not brush your teeth in full view of your travelling companion, best avoid. Complimentary 'mini bar' in the room had a nice selection of chilled soft drinks and was replenished daily. Breakfast was great and a wonderful choice. All the usual pastries, breads, cereals, fresh fruit etc. that you'd expect plus a good cooked selection. Food is served in the bar in the evening (closed Sunday and Monday though) although I didn't eat there. Good selection of beers in the bar with full table service. Overall a very pleasant stay. Would I stay again? Yes, I probably would.
