Questo hotel ha dato solo due bottiglie di acqua minerale il primo giorno del nostro soggiorno. Siamo rimasti per 7 giorni e non c'era acqua per i successivi 6 giorni. Abbiamo chiesto alla reception molto seriamente, e la reception ha detto seriamente, solo il primo giorno. Quindi sono un po' strano, è diverso dalle istruzioni di Ctrip.

We stayed here for three nights. We arrived very early as it was Canada Day! We parked our car and began walking the waterfront area. This hotel is very convenient if that’s what you want to do. The Maritime Museum is a very short walk from the front doors and go left along the boardwalk. It’s right to the Pier 21 Museum and that is a much longer walk. We returned to the hotel about one in the afternoon and there was a King room ready for us. The staff at the check in were pleasant and helpful. Our room was very neat and tidy; just as you would expect for just over $350/night, all in. We were on the 7th floor and it was an easy walk up to the terrace view n 8. Well worth going for a peek! There was a lot of fog when we were there but still quite a wonderful view. Our tv was not working and a young man from maintenance came quickly and had it working in a few minutes. He was pleasant and the hotel staff that we met in the hallways and elevator were very nice, too. Management obviously hires friendly and competent staff. Bravo! The room decor was fine but the sofa bed was not the most comfortable for sitting on. More pillows night help with that. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. The bathroom was large and well designed with a half wall between the toilet and sink area which I think is more hygienic than in some hotels. We did not eat in the hotel. (We enjoyed eating at The Bicycle Thief Restaurant and it’s right out the main hotel doors and about a 5 minute walk along the boardwalk. Went for dinner one night and lunch the next day.) There is one tricky thing at the hotel and even though another reviewer pointed it out, we had trouble finding the door to the underground parking. Duh! So if you approach the hotel from Salter Street and park near the front door, when it’s time to park, go straight ahead and look for a garage door on the right. Do not go out of the hotel drive on to the road as we did……missed it. So, drive slowly and keep looking right. The doors are tucked in behind the front wall. I think the hotel should have a photo prepared for the desk clerks to show guests who are there for the first time. Once you know where it is, it’s easy to find. Parking, with tax, is just over $25/day. The streets in this area are hilly so being on the waterfront is an asset if you like flat walking. We did walk to the Citadel from the hotel and it is a hilly trek. We neglected to take our rain gear which would have made it better but it is walkable. We are glad we chose this hotel for our brief stay in Halifax.

Il personale del servizio frontale è stato costretto a pagare 8 su 10 per la mancanza di preoccupazione per uno dei suoi. La stanza era molto confortevole quando il telefono non funzionava uno dei giovani impiegati del desktop è arrivato e ha preso il controllo immediato e risolto il problema. Stavamo aspettando di usare il ”tubo caldo”, ma chi è mai responsabile del sito web dell'hotel dovrebbe cancellare la foto del tubo caldo, se non c'è stato, per personale di front desk, almeno 10 anni. La sala fitness ha solo 2 su 4 funzionanti in bicicletta e ellittica. Rinunciato dopo averlo menzionato al personale del desk front in due occasioni. Ha una bella lavanderia con bar di sicurezza, ma suggerire di portare un mat di sicurezza e non c'erano ***** di sicurezza nel tubo. Sorprendentemente ho scoperto che l'hotel non aveva una licenza di liquore, quindi ho dovuto andare ad un altro hotel per qualche ”pops marroni” alla vigilia del nuovo anno.

La camera d'albergo non è fotografata, piccola ma ordinata. Ho smesso di pulire la stanza durante l'epidemia. Ho soggiornato per quattro notti e ho comprato un grande sacco della spazzatura per riempire la spazzatura, altrimenti ci sarebbe stato un odore particolare. La posizione è molto buona, puoi raggiungere a piedi la spiaggia, non ci sono epidemie ad Hafa e puoi trascorrere una vacanza in tutta tranquillità. Un vantaggio di questo hotel è che ha un lungo ugello della doccia che può essere tolto. Non capisco che gli hotel canadesi raramente lo abbiano. Sono fissi. È scomodo per gli anziani e i bambini lavarsi. Genere.

La posizione è ai margini del porto e c'è una gelateria COWS a 10 metri dal cancello est. L'impiegato è professionale. La colazione non è inclusa, è un sistema à la carte, ma il prezzo è effettivamente accettabile tra 17-24 dollari canadesi. I servizi includono una piscina e una palestra. La palestra è molto grande. In piscina, il vecchio bianco e la vecchia signora stanno facendo cose stravaganti, che è anche ubriaca. L'ultima ora della piscina è solo per adulti, ma ci sono ancora bambini dopo che il tempo è passato. Il personale di sicurezza ha aiutato a ripulire in tempo. molto bene.

Lovely stay at the Lord Nelson. The staff were courteous and professional and our spacious room was quiet and extremely comfortable. The hotel is ideally located and all of our activities were well within walking distance. Great restaurants, shopping, and museums and galleries were minutes away. We will make make the Lord Nelson our Halifax home!
