We had a very bad experience with this hotel. When we arrived we asked the staff at front desk about car parking and we were told that there was no parking space and we had to go looking for an off street parking ourselves. We had a long time driving and this was the first time to Halifax and everything was new to us. How could we handle this issue? However, the staff seemed it was not a big issue and even not willing to give any more details about off street parking. I couldn't believe this thing happen at such a luxury hotel. We really don't recommend this hotel and will never come back again.

Located in the heart of the city. Great value and some rooms facing the ocean.
Shuck has a nice happy hour deals in drinks and oysters and lots of great dining options nearby. Awesome spot to explore the Halifax Harbour front

The elevator was the nosiest thing ever!! I have never heard anything like it...all night long! We typically love this hotel for its location and cleanliness but that noise ruined it for us. Also an elderly man fell just past the check in desk and no staff came to help lift or check on him. My husband and another guest did all that.

Excellent location for walking and dining. Forget about parking at hotel. Stayed several times at this hotel and hotel parking was always full. But there are other paid parking options nearby. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Room was clean.

I had high expectations just because of the brand! “Marriot” but when i checked in at 4pm they handed me my keys and when i entered the room! I got to know that there was some problem with the AC unit and it was leaking the water in floor! My carpet was litrally soking in water! Called front desk and they said they will send someone! One guy came and dropped some sand or something and then vaccume it! When i came back it was still little wet and we haven’t got any other room by then from the front guest! Next morning they just gave me the voucher for Breakfast and thats it! In the evening they did change our room to delux but in there also the mini fridge was not working :( overall kind of disappointing from such a big brand.

I didn't like the fact that they missed cleaning my room. However, I did get a set of new towels as requested very quickly. Otherwise it was a good experience.
