Amazing hotel in the very nice place of the city center - in the calm and green area. The hotel has a very nice design, very stylish and a very important - everything is fresh and new. It is as nice as on the photos. There is a good restaurant in the hotel. I tried only breakfast - the food was of a good quality

Questo hotel sarebbe un posto meraviglioso per stare se non è durante il calore dell'estate. Il lobby è grande e ha un sacco di carattere. Il colazione è terribile. Il personale è amichevole. Tuttavia, l'aria condizionata semplicemente non funziona. E per peggiorare le cose, le finestre erano aperte, e il personale cercava di darmi una stanza con un sistema AC funzionante, ma quando eravamo nella terza stanza, mi rinunciai a chiedere. La camera finale era un po' meglio che insostenibile nel calore, e mi avevano gentilmente migliorato nel loro sforzo di trovare una stanza che non era pericolosamente calda. Tuttavia, l'AC era davvero solo un po' funzionale. Considerato che ero in un viaggio d'affari in cui avevo portato altri sette persone all'Aia e che siamo stati tutti in quell'hotel, non era ideale.

It took me a while to write this review since I was afraid of my personal safety. Nevertheless, I have finally decided to share this information with other travelers. This incident happened during a weekday night when I decided to do a walk-in at the Ibis hotel in Den Haag after a long trip. I was already aware of some bad reviews from other travelers indicating ”naughty” staff. Nonetheless, I decided to give it a go. I entered the hotel and mentioned the hotel clerk that I wanted to book a room. His attitude was rough indicating me that he did not have any rooms left. For my bad luck, my phone was out of battery so I decided to seat in one of the tables in the lobby to quickly charge it to look for a hotel somewhere else. While I was charging my phone, the clerk approached me and shouted at me that I had to leave the hotel. I explained him that I wanted to charge my phone to look for other hotels in the area and I wouldn't take much time. He continued shouting at me that I had to leave, when suddenly he grabbed my bag and literally threw it to the street. At this moment I was petrified since I never imagined something like this was happening. Then, he pushed me violently out of the hotel. Luckily I managed to take a picture of this guy. The guy has a tattoo on his right arm and rather than a hotel clerk, he thinks he is a MMA fighter or part of gang. I really don't know how the manager of this hotel can have person like this with such level of anger dealing with customers. My review by no means intend to advice other travelers to visit or not this hotel. I believe the facilities of this hotel are quite nice but what I can say is that I'm not entering this place again until they take strong actions towards improving the quality of their staff. I hope this guy doesn't get fired because of this review but if the hotel really wants to keep him, the hotel should consider send him to an anger management course. I don't know if this guy is always like this or just had a bad night and he took it on me. Nonetheless, I think no one should suffered what this guy did to me under any circumstance.

Stavo per 5 notti. Inizialmente avevo prenotato per 3 ma ho scritto alla ricezione di nuovo a novembre volevo estendere il soggiorno a 5 notti. Ho chiesto se solo facessi una nuova prenotazione e hanno detto no, è stato registrato. Quando sono arrivato alla ricezione, non hanno registrato il mio soggiorno di 5 notti e ho dovuto trovare l'e-mail per confermare sia la proroga che le notti restanti da pagare. La persona era bella e la riparava, ma mi sentivo un po' strano, e dopo la terza notte ho ricevuto un messaggio automatico di check-out, quindi ho controllato con la ricezione e pensavano che avessi controllato e dovevo passare di nuovo tutto. Avrei già pagato, così ho spiegato anche questo. Forse un biglietto o qualcosa del genere potevo essere aggiunto al sistema. La posizione era perfetta. Mi sentivo al sicuro andare in giro la notte e era molto conveniente per il centro di Amare. Il letto era molto confortevole e la doccia era calda e la doccia era di buona dimensione. Mi piacevano avere alcuni canali BBC. Penso che il giorno 4 il wifi era sbagliato. Questo non è colpa della ricezione, ma era fuori da probabilmente 30 ore. Sembra strano in un grande hotel per essere fuori per così tanto tempo. Purtroppo, ma alla fine è stato risolto. Il personale era bello. I lift funzionavano bene.

This is an older hotel and the upkeep hasn’t been up to standards. La catena di sicurezza della nostra porta era mancante, e la testa del bagno non era adatto per il bagno, che ha una metà parete di vetro che lo separa dal resto del bagno, l'altra metà aperta. Abbiamo dovuto usare il doccia flessibile per evitare di fare un cazzo nel bagno.La colazione era buona, ma molto ricco di sabato. Abbiamo prenotato la stanza con la cena incluso, ma sembrava che ci fossero problemi di comunicazione o procedurali tra il personale del desk front (che erano molto carini, ma il modo) e il personale del ristorante (anche molto carini) su come usare i coupon. Abbiamo rilasciato un buono multigiorno, che il personale del ristorante ha insistito che dovessero portarci il primo giorno per prova di servizio, quindi dovremmo tornare e chiedere un buono individuale per ogni giorno. La posizione era un po 'distante dal centro della città, quindi camminare ci richiede 30-45 minuti. È vicino ai parchi, tuttavia, così buono se ti piace la natura. In conclusione, è un posto buono per rimanere, ma non un posto per ravvivare.

I love Novotel as a chain, and have stayed at this hotel before and was quite happy. This time I felt things were a little off and I wasn't as satisfied. I seem to recall getting a free bottle of water in the room, which it appears is not included anymore. No more individual shower gels and soaps, but now big pumps of soap, which is OK if you have the complete set of them. Yes, it's more environmentally friendly but it's also a sign of cost-cutting. Breakfast was more or less the same -- good choice and quality -- except on a busy weekend they seemed totally overwhelmed and people had to queue to get a table. On a quieter morning, I noticed a sign stating one can request omelettes and poached eggs from the kitchen, so I did, and this dish never materialized, which was a little awkward. The fresh orange juice machine is awful: constant noise and queues of people taking ages to each make one glass of juice, as it requires that the user slice the orange and then ram each half, one at a time, into the machine, yielding a tiny amount of juice. Repeat for 6 or 7 oranges to get a glass... It would be funny to watch as slapstick if it weren't so annoying to listen to. On the positive side, the rooms are still attractive, comfortable, and quiet.

Wir sind ganz spontan (einen Tag vorher gebucht) in den Niederlanden angekommen und zusammen mit unserem Hund eingecheckt. Der Empfang war sehr nett und im Zimmer stand schon eine Hundeschale mit Ball und Leckerlies bereit. -Ach so, wir waren im Erdgeschoss im Altbau untergebracht. Die Zimmergröße war ok. Allerdings fehlt jegliche Ablagefläche für einen Koffer und einen Schrank gab es auch nicht, lediglich ein offenes Regal mit ein paar Kleiderbügeln. Auch im Bad gab es lediglich 2 Haken für Handtücher und leider gab es im Bad auch keine Heizung....das war ordentlich kalt. Leider waren auch Flecken in der Bettwäsche vorhanden, ich vermute mal, die sind bei der Wäsche nicht rausgegangen...nicht schön. Die Betten sind nicht gerade bequem, aber wir sind ansonsten Wasserbettschläfer, denke da sind wir verwöhnt. Der Außenbereich war etwas ”schrammelig”, die Leihfahrräder lagen mehr oder weniger vor der Tür im Dreck. -Eigentlich alles Sachen, die man mit sehr wenig Aufwand etwas ansprechender gestalten könnte. Ja, ich kann meinen Vorrednern nur zustimmen, es ist sehr hellhörig. Unschlagbar ist aber die Lage, ca. 100 m und da ist man schon am Strand und zum Pier sind es vielleicht 5 bis 10 Minuten Fußweg. -Aber hey, wir haben für 2 Nächte 180 € gezahlt und ich denke, dass Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt und ich will nicht groß meckern. Das Frühstück kann ich nicht beurteilen, wir waren auswärts frühstücken. Da wir zum Glück Superwetter hatten und sowieso nur zum duschen und schlafen da waren, war es für mich echt ok und konnte damit leben. -Ich denke, es ist wirklich nur was für Leute, die nur kurz da bleiben wollen. Für einen längeren Zeitraum ist das Hotel leider ungeeignet.

Grande hotel, con lobby tranquillo. La strega automatica di supermercato porta a mangiare e bere ogni volta che ti piace. Il personale parla semi olandese, ma offre un grande hotel pulito e tempestivo. Viaggiato per affari, buona posizione. Il mare è proprio intorno all'angolo. Le foto sembrano la stessa realtà, quindi non includerò le foto nella mia recensione.

I reserved a hotel with bath inside the room. When we arrived it was farely busy in the hotel due to the check in times. We waited for 20 minutes to check in and were told we got upgraded to a wellness room with a sauna. We took a walk along the beach which is litteraly in front of the hotel and we enjoyed a nice jacuzzi and sauna the rest of the evening. With a stunning view along the beach and city. Yes it was pricey! And parking in front of the hotel is 25€ per day or 6,50€ per hour which is really expensive (the hotel cant do anything about the parking fees because of the government, but maybe public transport is an option for you) Pricey, but absolutely worth every penny. And dont forget you get access to their own wellness included with your room!

L'ospitalità e la cordialità del personale è stata più che buona. A volte ci voleva molto tempo prima che le bevande venissero portate sulla terrazza! Il pasto serale non era niente di speciale. All'antipasto mancavano degli elementi e la portata principale era tiepida. La cameriera è super gentile, non le vedi più così spesso. Le camere sono pulite e ordinate. I materassi hanno bisogno di essere sostituiti perché eravamo afflosciati l'uno verso l'altro. Colazione a dieci con una matita! Ma anche questo è possibile per quasi 28 euro a persona, ma con musica dal vivo al pianoforte. Tutto sommato, ritornerei sicuramente ma non cenare di nuovo perché ci sono molti punti di ristoro di qualità nelle vicinanze!
