2 night stay, not hot water for the entire stay, seems whole hotel had issue but not even a drink voucher offered as a ”sorry gift”. To top it all off was told in restaurant that since we did not have a reservation for dinner (reception did not mention at check in) we would have to wait 2 hours till the ”rush” was over. If the restaurant was busy, faur enough but a restaurant that is 2/3's empty was surreal. Thank goodness the hotel is surrounded by better and to be honest cheaper offerings so enjoyed the evening more outside. Positives? Room size not bad, WiFi fairly quick, breakfast, good selection and location. All these Positives somehow paled into comparison by the strange dinner and water experience.

It took me a while to write this review since I was afraid of my personal safety. Nevertheless, I have finally decided to share this information with other travelers. This incident happened during a weekday night when I decided to do a walk-in at the Ibis hotel in Den Haag after a long trip. I was already aware of some bad reviews from other travelers indicating ”naughty” staff. Nonetheless, I decided to give it a go. I entered the hotel and mentioned the hotel clerk that I wanted to book a room. His attitude was rough indicating me that he did not have any rooms left. For my bad luck, my phone was out of battery so I decided to seat in one of the tables in the lobby to quickly charge it to look for a hotel somewhere else. While I was charging my phone, the clerk approached me and shouted at me that I had to leave the hotel. I explained him that I wanted to charge my phone to look for other hotels in the area and I wouldn't take much time. He continued shouting at me that I had to leave, when suddenly he grabbed my bag and literally threw it to the street. At this moment I was petrified since I never imagined something like this was happening. Then, he pushed me violently out of the hotel. Luckily I managed to take a picture of this guy. The guy has a tattoo on his right arm and rather than a hotel clerk, he thinks he is a MMA fighter or part of gang. I really don't know how the manager of this hotel can have person like this with such level of anger dealing with customers. My review by no means intend to advice other travelers to visit or not this hotel. I believe the facilities of this hotel are quite nice but what I can say is that I'm not entering this place again until they take strong actions towards improving the quality of their staff. I hope this guy doesn't get fired because of this review but if the hotel really wants to keep him, the hotel should consider send him to an anger management course. I don't know if this guy is always like this or just had a bad night and he took it on me. Nonetheless, I think no one should suffered what this guy did to me under any circumstance.

Hotel e camere erano eccellenti, posizione al top della stazione in pre-burg. L'unico svantaggio era che non c'era aria condizionata nella stanza.

Wat een tophotel, de kamer met uitzicht op zee en de stad en een jacuzzi was top! Het zwembad en de sauna + stoomcabine op de bovenste verdieping waren ook mooi en heerlijk om even te ontspannen. Het enige minpuntje wat ik me kon bedenken was dat de pizza van de roomservice gewoon een supermarkt pizza was. Maar de hamburger was echt geweldig.

Wir sind ganz spontan (einen Tag vorher gebucht) in den Niederlanden angekommen und zusammen mit unserem Hund eingecheckt. Der Empfang war sehr nett und im Zimmer stand schon eine Hundeschale mit Ball und Leckerlies bereit. -Ach so, wir waren im Erdgeschoss im Altbau untergebracht. Die Zimmergröße war ok. Allerdings fehlt jegliche Ablagefläche für einen Koffer und einen Schrank gab es auch nicht, lediglich ein offenes Regal mit ein paar Kleiderbügeln. Auch im Bad gab es lediglich 2 Haken für Handtücher und leider gab es im Bad auch keine Heizung....das war ordentlich kalt. Leider waren auch Flecken in der Bettwäsche vorhanden, ich vermute mal, die sind bei der Wäsche nicht rausgegangen...nicht schön. Die Betten sind nicht gerade bequem, aber wir sind ansonsten Wasserbettschläfer, denke da sind wir verwöhnt. Der Außenbereich war etwas ”schrammelig”, die Leihfahrräder lagen mehr oder weniger vor der Tür im Dreck. -Eigentlich alles Sachen, die man mit sehr wenig Aufwand etwas ansprechender gestalten könnte. Ja, ich kann meinen Vorrednern nur zustimmen, es ist sehr hellhörig. Unschlagbar ist aber die Lage, ca. 100 m und da ist man schon am Strand und zum Pier sind es vielleicht 5 bis 10 Minuten Fußweg. -Aber hey, wir haben für 2 Nächte 180 € gezahlt und ich denke, dass Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt und ich will nicht groß meckern. Das Frühstück kann ich nicht beurteilen, wir waren auswärts frühstücken. Da wir zum Glück Superwetter hatten und sowieso nur zum duschen und schlafen da waren, war es für mich echt ok und konnte damit leben. -Ich denke, es ist wirklich nur was für Leute, die nur kurz da bleiben wollen. Für einen längeren Zeitraum ist das Hotel leider ungeeignet.

I love Novotel as a chain, and have stayed at this hotel before and was quite happy. This time I felt things were a little off and I wasn't as satisfied. I seem to recall getting a free bottle of water in the room, which it appears is not included anymore. No more individual shower gels and soaps, but now big pumps of soap, which is OK if you have the complete set of them. Yes, it's more environmentally friendly but it's also a sign of cost-cutting. Breakfast was more or less the same -- good choice and quality -- except on a busy weekend they seemed totally overwhelmed and people had to queue to get a table. On a quieter morning, I noticed a sign stating one can request omelettes and poached eggs from the kitchen, so I did, and this dish never materialized, which was a little awkward. The fresh orange juice machine is awful: constant noise and queues of people taking ages to each make one glass of juice, as it requires that the user slice the orange and then ram each half, one at a time, into the machine, yielding a tiny amount of juice. Repeat for 6 or 7 oranges to get a glass... It would be funny to watch as slapstick if it weren't so annoying to listen to. On the positive side, the rooms are still attractive, comfortable, and quiet.

È un hotel molto bello, situato nel centro della città. Bello design, le camere sono piacevoli. Il colazione è buona. Chi viene con una macchina è consigliato di non parcheggiare nel parcheggio sotto l'hotel, perché è costoso. Abbiamo campato in un parcheggio a pochi passi (dopo aver lasciato il bagaglio dell'hotel) sulla Geest Street 1. Abbiamo avuto un'esperienza meno piacevole, nostra figlia si sentiva malata, e non avevano idea di dove rivolgerci e siamo stati anche inviati all'emergenza che si è rivelato essere chiusi per tre anni. Quindi solo salute, e godere.

This is an older hotel and the upkeep hasn’t been up to standards. La catena di sicurezza della nostra porta era mancante, e la testa del bagno non era adatto per il bagno, che ha una metà parete di vetro che lo separa dal resto del bagno, l'altra metà aperta. Invece di indirizzare l'acqua direttamente (tipo di pioggia), la testa di doccia non regolabile diffondera il modello dell'acqua, che spraya l'acqua dal doccia stall in un'altra metà del bagno. Abbiamo dovuto usare il doccia flessibile per evitare di fare un cazzo nel bagno.La colazione era buona, ma molto ricco di sabato. Abbiamo prenotato la stanza con la cena incluso, ma sembrava che ci fossero problemi di comunicazione o procedurali tra il personale del desk front (che erano molto carini, ma il modo) e il personale del ristorante (anche molto carini) su come usare i coupon. Abbiamo rilasciato un buono multigiorno, che il personale del ristorante ha insistito che dovessero portarci il primo giorno per prova di servizio, quindi dovremmo tornare e chiedere un buono individuale per ogni giorno. La posizione era un po 'distante dal centro della città, quindi camminare ci richiede 30-45 minuti. È vicino ai parchi, tuttavia, così buono se ti piace la natura. In conclusione, è un posto buono per rimanere, ma non un posto per ravvivare.

È stata una esperienza molto piacevole - il personale è molto amichevole e supportivo, l'atmosfera è benvenuta, il museo CORPUS è proprio davanti e potrebbe essere un grande luogo per visitare con i bambini, il colazione è delizioso, L'accento assoluto del colazione è il Capo che ha fatto la mia omeletta con un grande sorriso :) la stanza non era grande ma si adatta bene per 3 ospiti - il letto e il divano letto erano entrambi confortevoli. Ambiente silenzioso. Ci siamo divertiti. Grazie Hilton Leiden Team:)
