UUtente ospiteQuesto è uno dei migliori hotel che abbia mai soggiornato.
È stato conosciuto come Rosewood Yangon e ora è stato riaperto per 8 mesi. Tutto è eccellente, molto amichevole, paziente e utile personale, servizio straordinario. La storia dell'hotel data di nuovo al 1927, quindi è assolutamente un edificio storico. La struttura è molto eccellente, il colazione è delizioso e ci sono molte opzioni. La posizione è anche buona e sicura, molto vicino a Sule Plaza, General Post Office e l'ambasciata britannica.
Vorrei esprimere la mia gratitudine a Vanessa e Swar, che mi hanno fornito molte informazioni dettagliate per poter sapere di più su questo hotel, questa città e questo paese. Si prega di assicurarsi che ricevano questo feedback e la mia apprezzamento!
Nel frattempo, il desk Moo Thaw, Luca mi ha mostrato l'ospitalità.
La prossima volta che vengo a Yangon, considererò di nuovo di scegliere questo hotel, e lo consiglierò anche ai miei amici.

UUtente anonimoI had a very enjoyable stay at Meliã Yangon and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the city. The hotel is located in a peaceful area by Inya Lake, offering beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere away from the busy downtown traffic.
The rooms are modern, spacious, and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The large windows let in plenty of natural light, and if you get a lake-view room, the scenery is especially nice. Everything was clean and well-maintained throughout my stay.
The service was excellent, with staff who were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any requests were handled efficiently.
The breakfast buffet had a great variety of both local and international options, and the quality of the food was consistently good. The hotel also has great facilities, including a nice pool, a well-equipped gym, and good dining options.
Overall, Meliã Yangon offers a great balance of comfort, service, and value in a calm and scenic setting. I would happily stay here again.

ZZmeyerOld luxury hotel - resort style big pool, great breakfast, spacious rooms. They have to renovate it, but it still very nice.
Ah, by the way. Its hard to find some restaurants nearby - be prepared for taxi for any case. But they have 24h convenient store on first floor.
And - its very strange for the hotel of this level - there was a situation with exec lounge. It was in my booking but they refuse to give me access: ”It was an error in room description”. Guys, its really not my trouble, right? I wasnt in the mood for hard negotiations, so... let carma decide ))) And they have no local shuttle bus (yes, there is an error on hotel site). Heh )))

UUtente ospiteIt is not quite easy to put a fair review for this hotel. At a very first glance, with the ongoing political unrest in Myanmar, the effort to reopen the hotel and rehire all the staff deserve a great compliment.
Nonetheless, the shortfall in service and amenities should not be compromised with the situation and some area such as cleanliness should not fall short especially when the hotel priced themselves at the highest in the city.
The management should really consider to focus on guests service and sincere hospitality and that they can have customers who are willing to pay at any price rather that worked any way possible to cut the cost and let the staff to deal with insufficient amenities and services.

BBruce MRimarrebbe di nuovo. Grande posizione, vicino al famoso segno di zona a piedi di distanza. La camera ha bisogno di prova del suono a causa del rumore dalla strada e vicino al parco soprattutto al mattino. Anche la chiave della camera ha bisogno di essere aggiornata. Come vecchio stile catena di chiavi di grano indietro negli anni '80 . Buffet di colazione e godere di esso.Il personale è molto attento e utile.In generale, molto soddisfatto del soggiorno.

CCC TourWarning: Major language barriers and smoking issues at this new hotel
While this is a newly built hotel, I was shocked by the lack of English proficiency at a 5-star establishment in Yangon. The front desk staff spoke only Mandarin and Burnmese. Ironically, the IT technician was the only person who understood a bit of English, which was the only redeeming factor regarding communication.
Key issues for international travelers:
Language Barrier: Do not expect to use English with the reception; it is primarily a Mandarin-speaking environment.
Smoking Regulation: Despite ”No Smoking” signs in the lobby lounge, guests were smoking openly on the coffee tables. I also encountered guests smoking in the hallways and elevator lobbies on the guest floors. It felt as though I was in China rather than Myanmar.
Dining: The breakfast buffet is strictly Chinese-style. There were no Burmese food or drink options available at all.
Room Condition: My room had a persistent smell of smoke and was full of mosquitoes. This is likely because housekeeping leaves the doors wide open during cleaning.

UUtente ospiteI’ve stayed many times when travelling to Myanmar. The staffs are friendly and courteous. Buffet breakfast selections also good and changes everyday.
The location is also good. Very near (across the road) to a shopping mall with a bakery and grocery store. Across the road from kandawgyi lake.
