Approaching through leafy pathways and lotus ponds, guests are welcomed into an oasis that feels far removed from the bustle of downtown Yangon.
Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, featuring polished teak floors, four-poster beds, and traditional Burmese textiles that reflect the building’s heritage. Balconies overlook either the lush gardens or the inviting fan-shaped swimming pool, creating a sense of calm retreat. The service is consistently warm, professional, and attentive without being intrusive, with staff eager to share local knowledge and assist with arrangements.

UUtente ospiteClassic colonial-style room with modern renovation, everything is nice at hall and corridor, room bed is soft and comfortable, separate bath and toilet with super cleanliness, kind and attentive clerks. And the slippers in the room are the best quality I have seen in Myanmar. Location is near from Sule pagoda and in the very centre of Yangon downtown. Only regret is outside noise and bad smell on the nearby street, there are so many roadside vendors and loud Indian music going on till evening. I woke up early in the morning by the noise of generator outside and opposite side of the hotel, for which the hotel is not responsible. If sound-proof room is available even with extra cost it would make me want to come back.

UUtente ospiteHotel magnifico e magnifico vicino a Sule pagoda, nel centro della città, ma l'ingresso è solo un lato e non può entrare da questo hotel dal lato del fiume. È difficile da vedere da qualche parte perché non c'è segno o nome dell'hotel, tranne l'ingresso e la strada Sule. La stanza è perfettamente confortevole e pulita senza punti di forza. I concierge e i portatori sono formati professionalmente, ma altri agenti hanno ancora bisogno di formazione, perché non voglio vederli parlare in modo imbarazzante in gruppi, anche nella zona di lobby. L'hotel non è un parco infantile o un club danza per i giovani.La qualità del colazione è meravigliosa e i membri del personale cucina sono eccellenti, ma non c'è quasi nessuna spiegazione su come posso ordinare anche omeletta o qualsiasi cosa da mangiare che non è sul tavolo da buffet. E' ridicolo chiedere ogni volta di ricevere salami e formaggio tagliati, perche' non posso portare via il tavolo da buffet? In generale l'hotel stesso è molto buono, ma alcuni punti sono strani e non sono al punto di punta.

TTeacher MaddieMercure Hotel has always been a second to me and my partner. We’d stay here with friends and we even booked them during our wedding day. On our recent stay, it was so nice to be back with my baby and parents. Staff always welcomes us and serve us with smiles.
Another thing I like about this hotel is their continuous commitment to improvement, and live and care to Mother Earth. They started eliminating single-use plastics and now uses sustainable packagings and items.
I highly recommend Mercure Hitel!

IIsfp-Solo TravelerEverything was good👌👌👌😍💙…The only downside was that you might feel too lazy to go out or sightsee because the hotel room was very comfortable, and it was extremely hot outside😅 —- You could just stay in your room, enjoy the view, go for a swim, or have a spa day….
The breakfast buffet had a lot of options, and they even changed some of the dishes the next day. My favorite was the sauna—it was really good. I also loved the hot shower, as it didn’t turn cold even after being on for a long time😍
The massages were great, and the prices were reasonable…. The staff were very helpful and kind…. There were occasional power interruptions, but they only lasted a few seconds since the hotel’s backup power kicked in immediately…
+ Although it’s a bit far from the tourist spots, you can take a Grab—it’s affordable and the best option since it gets really hot during the day….

The location of the hotel is excellent - it's situated near the airport, and the rooms are cozy and clean, with all the necessary amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Despite being a budget hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the facilities provided, including the comfortable bed, good air-conditioning, and hot shower.
The hotel staff were friendly, professional and always ready to assist with any requests or queries I had. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free, and the staff were always available to help with luggage and transportation arrangements.
One thing I particularly liked about the hotel was the breakfast buffet - it was simple, and delicious
This hotel is an excellent choice for travelers who are looking for a comfortable and affordable stay in a convenient location near the airport. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Yangon.

UUtente ospiteGood old hotel with antique atmosphere and courteous service, I liked the room but got dissaponted that the bedsheets and towels are too old and not clean, and it has some more caveats.
The hotel is situated inward corner from the main street and need to call taxi every time just to get out, which is annoying if you want to go around the nearby area. Inside the hotel building there's one convenient store but the front desk never mentioned that and couldn't find it on the day of arrival. The biggest problem is there are so many noisy and dangerous street dogs nearby the hotel and they are barking at every car going in and out from the hotel, and when you try to walk back to the hotel it is really a big threat as they swarm and try to bite you even in the daytime. Those dogs are seriously damaging the hotel access and make the guests uneasy.

UUtente anonimoEasy access with peaceful environment. Rooms are clean but they need to change new towels, means that all the towels that serve are clean but it kinda smell of frequently used. Staffs are so polite and friendly. Rooftop pool with the Shwe Dagon pagoda is wonderful especially at night.

Il personale era felice di aggiornarmi in una stanza con un balcone. Erano molto entusiasti. Mi piace davvero la stanza. La stanza è spaziosa e confortevole. Il prezzo non è così costoso come pensi. L'hotel è situato vicino al lago Kandawgyi. Puoi andare al parco Kandawgyi per esercitare o rilassarsi. Tuttavia, non c'è sicurezza nella stanza. Per coloro che visitano Yangon, consiglio di rimanere in questo hotel.
