Hotel con palestra a Glasgow

L'hotel è stato perfetto dal accogliente staff di ricezione all'arrivo al colazione la mattina seguente. La stanza era immacolata, non nuova e brillante, ma decorata con buona qualità con attrezzature, accessori e mobili. Tutte le basi, letto, doccia, toletta e bacino lavoravano e si sono svolte con superfluo piombo. Letto, coperte, fogli e cuscini erano insensibili, spugnati, e la materna era molto comoda. Molto spazio, ferro e tavolo, asciugacapelli e frigo. Il servizio per colazione era insolito efficace per un grande hotel. Sapevano esattamente come affrontare un servizio per colazione occupato. Buffet per bevande e articoli freddi, servizio per cucinato. Il colazione scozzese completo mi ha tenuto a andare tutto il giorno. Tornerò certamente a questo hotel.

L'hotel era incantevole, sono rimasto un po' deluso dal personale della reception che mi parlava tramite schermi di computer. Non mi hanno mai guardato quando mi facevano domande, personalmente lo trovo maleducato. Tuttavia sono riusciti a custodire i bagagli per noi fino al momento del check-in. La piscina è incantevole, non eccessivamente grande e c'erano lezioni in corso, ma per un tuffo veloce va bene. La vasca idromassaggio è minuscola, anche con 3 adulti dentro, ci toccavamo le ginocchia, quindi è stato un po' imbarazzante condividerla con degli sconosciuti. La palestra era fantastica. Sono rimasto molto colpito. La camera era incantevole, molto spaziosa, avevamo una camera doppia, era la prima volta che dormivo in un letto singolo da quando ero bambino, quindi non era molto comoda. Il bagno era pulito e la vasca era enorme, il che era fantastico. La nostra camera non aveva una finestra apribile, ma c'era un ventilatore nella nostra camera, non funzionava ma dopo aver avvisato il personale delle pulizie lo hanno sostituito rapidamente. La colazione era buona, proprio come ci si aspetta. Da una colazione a buffet, ci hanno fatto accomodare molto velocemente entrambe le mattine. C'erano distributori d'acqua al nostro piano e alla reception che abbiamo usato regolarmente e abbiamo apprezzato quel tocco. Nel complesso è stato un soggiorno piacevole e ci tornerei volentieri. La fermata dell'autobus rosso e giallo ”Sali e scendi” è proprio dietro l'angolo, quindi è comoda se si vuole visitare la città.

We enjoyed our stay at the Maldron and felt it was great value overall. The location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance but also slightly away from the main high street so it was nice and peaceful at night. There were also loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops within a few hundred meters of the hotel, offering loads of cuisine choices. The staff were very helpful and friendly. When we arrived, I realised I had accidentally booked one of our rooms as a double room when we needed a twin. After just a quick call to reception the staff found us a twin room within minutes, and were even mindful of keeping our families on the same floor for convenience which we hugely appreciated. The rooms themselves were very clean, modern and spacious enough for the two of us and our suitcases. The sound proofing was pretty decent too, and there was minimal noise from the corridor/outside apart from a few doors banging in the morning as guests left. Other highlights include: a very good shower where you can switch between a rainfall + handheld head, plugs on both sides of the bed (an essential these days!) and a comfortable bed. The TV system is a little dated in my opinion, however it does allow casting which was a bonus. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel for a mid-low budget stay.

Il bellissimo hotel era il compleanno dei miei partner e il gentile Angus alla reception ha migliorato la nostra stanza e ci ha dato un check-out tardivo e 2 bevande complimentarie così grazie, è proprio nel centro della città con tutto quello che vi circonda sono bellissimi letti così comodi si sono alzati una volta e che’s insolito per me haha sicuramente prenotare questo hotel di nuovo

I recently stayed at this hotel and one of the highlights of my visit was the stunning river view. From the moment I checked in, I was impressed by how clean and comfortable everything felt, but the real standout was the scenery. My room overlooked the river, and waking up to the calm water and soft morning light was incredibly relaxing. In the evening, the view became even more beautiful, with reflections of the sunset creating a peaceful atmosphere. It made the whole stay feel more special and memorable. The room itself was well-maintained, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with large windows that made the most of the view. I also appreciated how quiet it was—perfect for unwinding after a long day. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the overall service added to the positive experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay with a beautiful river view.

Hotel carino in una posizione fantastica. Il personale era amichevole e il parcheggio auto proprio in basso non ci ha avuto problemi. La stanza era spaziosa e moderna. Il colazione era delizioso e saremmo sicuramente rimasti qui.

Great team at the Village Glasgow, always friendly and helpful, decor is getting a bit worn now though and breakfast choice could be better, but overall a great experience with an excellent gym and pool and lovely staff who all work very hard

Hampton by Hilton, Glasgow Central is located on West Campbell Street and this truly is right in the heart of the city centre! Located just around the corner from the bustling shopping street of Sauchiehall Street, you’ve got everything you need at your disposal within walking distance of this hotel! Even Glasgow’s Central station is just a short 10 minute walk away - ideal if you’re coming in from another such as Liverpool like I was! A double room in this hotel is a fair size. To maximise on the space, Hampton by Hilton have removed wardrobes and cupboards and have replaced them with walk-in spaces. It works - the L shaped room can feel a little cosy at first, but once you’ve passed through the corridor, the main area where the bed and TV is feels quite spacious. The breakfast provided - which is free for all guests - is to a great standard. Make sure you try out the fresh waffles which come as standard in Hampton by Hilton hotels. The breakfast area isn’t huge though, so if you come around 8.30/9am, space might be limited! There’s also a fitness suite in the hotel which has a good range of equipment available. No windows in there though! Some areas for improvement - the room could do with a bit of refurbishment as the furniture is looking quite tired in parts and there are a lot of scratches and dirty marks on the walls. The room is very functional rather than a luxurious stay. Having said that, Hampton by Hilton is not marketing itself as a luxury brand. It’s firmly in the budget hotel bracket, probably at a similar standard to Premier Inn - which certainly isn’t a bad thing! Another thing to note - if you stay here during the weekend, it could be noisy. There are three nightclubs right near the hotel and on a Saturday night, the noise didn’t stop until 2.30am and this meant we didn’t get much sleep one night. However, the staff were very helpful when we flagged it with them the next morning and gave a credit for a free night’s stay at any Hampton by Hilton! All in all, this hotel is a good base to stay whilst exploring Glasgow. It’s functional, it does the job and you’re going to be well fed during breakfast. True, there are areas for improvement, but this shouldn’t impact your overall experience too much!

We booked the wrong date for our stay and didn't realise until arrival. The amazing Kathleen sorted everything for us. What an asset to the Crowne Plaza she is. Thank you so much for taking the stress out of it and helping us have such a lovely stay.

Camera deliziosa per una famiglia di quattro persone. Il personale della reception è stato molto disponibile, ma purtroppo nessuno di loro ha menzionato che l'hotel offre una palestra e un bagno turco/spa gratuiti per gli ospiti. L'ho scoperto solo dopo il check-out, il che è stato un peccato. La nostra esperienza con la colazione non è stata delle migliori. Il primo giorno abbiamo aspettato circa 20 minuti per due uova fritte: una è arrivata troppo cotta e l'altra poco cotta, con il centro liquido. L'ultimo giorno, i croissant erano già finiti più di un'ora prima della fine della colazione. Inoltre, non c'erano cartelli che indicassero la disponibilità di cioccolato in polvere per la cioccolata calda, quindi non me ne sono accorto fino all'ultimo mattino. Inoltre, l'hotel pubblicizza una bevanda gratuita al momento dell'iscrizione. Ho scansionato il codice QR e mi sono iscritto il primo giorno, ma non c'erano istruzioni su come richiedere la bevanda, quindi non ho potuto utilizzarla.
