am an architect & travelled to guwahati oftern for work. the hotel stay was booked by my client due to close proximity of the ongoing project site. its relatively a new hotel, (december 2020) hence everything was brand new. my review for room 304 as under : 1.excellent location - on the main road so connectivity through road is very easy. 2. big rooms with comfortable mattress. 3. comfortable seating & writing table next to the full ht fixed glazing to enjoy the busy GS road view while you are working. 4. large bathroom. 5. adequate supply of toiletries. 6. food is tasty & palatable (room service) and they have wide variety in the menu to choose from. areas for improvement 1. the staff needs to trained more in hospitality, especially the front office staff as they sounded bit rude in dealing with guests (not only me but 1 another guest had the same observation) 2. they need to have allowance for deodorant for the service staff or get their uniform washed daily as they were quite smelly. 3. the windows are not sound proof so the traffic sound could be disturbing if you a light sleeper 4. the breakfast had a decent spread but was not so well ***aged. the food layed in the buffet were so not appealing in terms of how they were served (more like just dumped in the cheffing dishes) this areas needs a lot of attention. 5. MOST IMPORTANT (atleast for me) the HOT water supply in the bathroom is BAD. the water is barely luke warm and that too for just a minute or so then its supper chilly. for a person like me who is use to for hot water bath, the shower there felt like an ice bucket challenge to me. a report at the front desk re the problem did not yield any solution so i had to live with it. cheers to team Apollo grand Date of stay: June 2022

Io ero un ospite frequente in questa casa, ma il mio soggiorno più recente era quello di incubi di ospite. Ho soggiornato qui con i miei genitori anziani per un soggiorno di una notte. Dopo aver raggiunto, ho chiesto che il nostro bagaglio fosse rimosso dal taxi, ma non per niente. Così, ho portato il bagaglio da solo, dovevamo chiedere che tutto fosse tenuto in custodia, con qualcosa di fondamentale come le tovaglie. Il servizio in camera ci ha portato il piatto sbagliato che non avevamo nemmeno ordinato; quando abbiamo chiesto l’acqua minerale e alcune semplici tazze di limone e chili, è venuto molto dopo la cena. Durante la notte, anche mio padre, che era stato sottoposto a trattamento, non poteva dormire perché c'era una festa all'hotel fino a tardi la notte con gli ospiti urlando nel corridoio proprio fuori dalla nostra stanza, nel bel mezzo della notte. La mattina dopo era peggiore. Durante la prenotazione online o per telefono non si è mai detto che il colazione sarebbe servito solo dalle 9:00 al mattino! È un momento razionale per iniziare il colazione in un hotel di questo tipo. Abbiamo fatto colazione alle 9:30 e abbiamo scoperto che nulla era quasi pronto. Il server singolo era vicino alle lacrime dicendo che era in servizio fino alle 2:30 la notte precedente. Non è colpa sua. E' colpa del ***-agement. Non riaprire e pagare le tariffe normali quando non sei nemmeno pronto e attrezzato per servire i tuoi ospiti metà decente. Se avessi avuto un soggiorno libero anche dopo questa esperienza, mi piacerebbe rinunciare e dare al mio peggior nemico, l'esperienza di ospite di terza classe più inutile, senza speranza, senza carattere.
