La mia camera aveva 3 letti matrimoniali con divano e una grande TV. La vista era direttamente nel giardino di Marriott lungo la strada. Tuttavia, era molto confortevole. Il centro commerciale di Oakland e la città di Dollar City sono a circa 15 minuti a piedi dall'hotel.

Questa volta ho passato 2 mesi consecutivi a Casa Veranda (da 4.5 mesi dopo il 2022), e ogni giorno era perfetto. Dopo l'arrivo attraverso il check-out, il servizio era di prima classe; il personale era amichevole e gentile, sempre preoccupato per il benessere degli ospiti. Il mio compleanno è avvenuto durante il soggiorno, e tutti i miei colleghi mi hanno congratulato, ho mangiato con tre di loro, e la torta è stata inviata nella mia stanza.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights. I was assigned room 304. Service - Everyone I interacted with at this hotel was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Some speak limited English, but it is fun to learn Spanish, so I like that part of it. Wait staff in the restaurant were all great. The security staff (always stationed outside of the front entrance to the hotel) were also great. Room - Room was large and super clean. Quiet. Super comfortable bed. Mini refrigerator. Safe. Great working AC. It made the room freezing cold, which I love. Great curtains that completely kept the room dark when sleeping in. Wi-fi was reliable and fast. Room did not have a view. Bathroom was fine. Adequate counter space for your toiletries. Shower water temperature got and stayed very hot and the water pressure was great, which I love. Hotel Information - The hotel has 109 rooms and five floors. Decent size lobby, with an ATM, little pantry for snacks and beverages near the front desk, restaurant / bar, business center, and fitness center. I did not have a rental car, so I am unable to comment on parking. Free breakfast buffet for Hilton Diamond members. Breakfast buffet was excellent with tons of fresh fruit, three fresh juice options, tons of hot and cold items, made-to-order omelets, etc. Due to COVID-19, they serve it to you, but it is AYCE. Location - I loved the location of this hotel! It is located in Zona 9 (one of the safest zones in Guatemala City). It is located one block off of Avenida La Reforma (one of the main boulevards in Guatemala City that separates Zona 9 and Zona 10). You can walk to restaurants (almost every US chain is within walking distance - Applebee’s, Burger King, Carl’s Jr, Chili’s, Cinnabon, Dunkin’ Donuts, KFC, McDonald’s, P.F. Chang’s, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, Subway, Taco Bell, and TGI Fridays). Great shopping malls are within walking distance (Avia Mall and Oakland Mall). Oakland Mall is beautiful, huge, and four floors. La Aurora International Airport (GUA) and Zoológico La Aurora are less than 10 minutes by car. Plaza España, Plaza Obelisco, and the many gardens, monuments, sculptures, and statues on Avenida La Reforma, Avenida Las Américas, and 7A Avenida are within walking distance. Most of my tours did not pick up at the Hilton Garden Inn. They only had three hotel options for pickup. One was The Westin Camino Real, which is only two blocks away in Zona 10. I used that hotel as a pickup and drop off for my tours. It was convenient. I highly recommend this hotel if your travels take you to Ciudad de Guatemala!

CChosenAuthor24With visiting a new country, I was a little uncertain about the right hotel to stay in, but, when I pulled up in the Uber, I was BEYOND grateful that the pictures matched real-life. The entire hotel had an old world, relaxed vibe, that made the wind down easier. I have never traveled to Guatemala before and the friendly service has me considering returning, for a longer, personal trip. Even though I'm not fluent, in the native language, most of the ppl with whom I came in contact, including hotel staff, were VERY helpful and patient.
The bed was VERY comfortable, the room smelled like it had been cleaned, recently and it was VERY spacious.

TTAEHYUNIl servizio di pick-up dell'aeroporto è stato accessibile in modo sicuro e si trova a circa un minuto di distanza. Se dovete passare un giorno vicino all'aeroporto, lo consiglio.
La struttura è molto vicina all'aeroporto e il personale è amichevole. Se lo usate, è necessario contattare l'hotel per richiedere il servizio di pick-up aeroportuale!
L'ostello è pulito e il quartiere è circondato da fili barbeati e la guardia di sicurezza gestisce l'ingresso.
Perfetto per un soggiorno di giorno vicino all'aeroporto di Guatemala! :)

UUtente ospiteGrande posizione -- 10 minuti dall'aeroporto, e considerando il traffico assolutamente terribile in Guatemala, siamo stati davvero grati di essere così vicini. Il buffet del mercato (il principale luogo di pranzo per colazione, pranzo e cena, più cocktail di domenica quando il bar Maya è chiuso) è stato eccellente! E ha offerto una varietà di cibo guatemalteco sul buffet. Il personale di attesa era molto attento. La colazione ha iniziato alle 6:30 e grazie a questo buffet siamo riusciti a entrare e uscire in tempo per le 7:00, andiamo a prendere un giro. Le camere erano grandi, i letti erano comodi, le finestre sono state provate (specialmente importante perché si è così vicino all'aeroporto). Non c'è concierge per aiutarvi, quindi si deve contare sulla ricerca di un agente di servizio frontale disponibile. Spesso abbiamo trovato che dovremmo aspettare 15 minuti per le persone che accedono o escono. Il servizio di taxi privato è stato ”dedicato” per le operazioni aeroportuali. E'stato bene... dopo 25 minuti di attesa per il ”no show” abbiamo un taxi per 1/2 il prezzo.Presentato per un trasferimento all'aeroporto al momento della partenza, perché alle 5 era l'opzione più affidabile... e il conducente è arrivato 10 minuti prima, quindi non abbiamo dovuto Temo che la nostra permanenza sia soddisfatta. Bello hotel in una grande posizione - entro mezzo isolato dal Westin, Holiday Inn, ecc. - ”il” posto da essere (Zona 10). Sicuro per passeggiare intorno alla notte, ecc. E c'è un grande negozio di regali che offre vestiti guatemaltesi di qualità, artigianato, cioccolato, ecc.

UUtente ospiteAttualmente sono al Best Western Hotel ...it's fantastico e fantastico di avere alcuni individui che parlano inglese per scambiare parole con sebbene la maggior parte di loro parli spagnolo. La stanza non era così bella, ma devo dire che in un ambiente freddo il sistema idrico è sorprendente, il riscaldamento rapido dell'acqua e un sistema elettrico sorprendente che funziona lasciando la tua scheda di porta nel sistema vicino alla porta e dà alla stanza l'elettricità. Oltre a questa esperienza. Grande dipendenti e un meraviglioso chef e grandi server. Sarebbe 5star se avessero effettivamente dipendenti bilingue ma grazie alla traduzione di Google tutto andato bene.
