Great hotel for close proximity to Malls, FoodStreet, Beach Coast walks etc. It has very couteous n professiinal customer service with a kindest smile that warms your hearts each time you past them by. Aboveall, rooms and amenities are well design, fresh and clean too. Such a comfortable outstanding place to welcome every guest. This is my second time here. There is so much creativity in their food offerings in and buffets specials every weekend too. Its really a go to hotel with reasonable pricing of a 4 star hotel. I will be back the next visit to penang.

La stanza è molto pulita e pulita. Travel with my mom to Penang first time. The hotel was chosen because it’s just a few steps away from Gurney Plaza. Free ice creams were served when we arrived and checked in hotel. The room at high floor is very spacious. However, the facilities are quite simple consider it’s a five star hotel. The washroom is not user friendly especially for oldies. First day after showering, we found bath towels got stains. We informed hotel service staff, they came to changed them immediately with apologies. The room has sea view, the breakfasts are nice and tasty. It’s a pleasant stay overall, will consider to visit again next time!

The only good thing I have to say about this hotel is how helpful the concierge Mr Ganesan was. He recommended amazing places for us to visit, always stopped to chat with us and was very friendly. Everything else in this hotel was awful. Hotel was clean and new but pool was filthy.. full of leaves and twigs. Both my partner and I had eye infections from swimming. Front desk staff were all rotten with zero customer service skills. One lady told me my room extension request was confirmed on the day I checked in but the following shift insisted that they had no extension request and simply refused to do anything to help saying they were on full capacity until I escalated it to the higher management and then miraculously the room became available. Asked in room dining for cutlery 5 times before they sent it. Upon checkout, they tried to charge me for breakfast for 2 days which I did not even eat or ask for in the first place. Hotel is clean and new but front desk staff are the worst I’ve ever come across in all my years of traveling.

The best thing about Gurney Bay was the sea view and spacious room. It was clean, dated but comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a wide range of food.
The reception service could be more welcoming. The receptionist was wearing a face mask. I was surprised that he could not let me know if I could have a later check out time the day before the check out. Was told that I needed to ask on the check out day. Also noted that the service staff at the breakfast restaurant needed to call the office to check if breakfast was included for my room. This process could be improved.

Loved my stay! We were soooo happy to be upgraded to a room with a view that was sooooo spacious! Stayed there for four nights over nye and had a great view of the fireworks!!
My only complaint would be that there isn’t a Nespresso coffee machine in the room (which is a surprise given that most hotels now offer them) nor do they provide cotton wool (isn’t that also a basic provision?).
Do note that the hotel doesn’t provide complimentary bottled water either, and only tap with filtered water… however I did appreciate them giving out mint water/ pandan bluepea water in the afternoon for guests (wished that it’s all day long!) at the lobby.

The hotel has a classy heritage vibe with distinguished visitors such as Charle Chaplain and King Charles. Il personale è anche molto utile, offrendo consigli (come se utilizzare il servizio di shuttle mattina per colazione, come utilizzare il parcheggio automatico all'interno dell'hotel) e suggerimenti agli ospiti.
La stanza è confortevole, e dispone di 2 unità di aria condizionata in spazi separati e la capacità di spostarsi è un plus. La vista dalla piscina è anche bella. In generale, è un piacevole soggiorno e non c'è niente che non mi piace.

UUtente ospitePoiché la luce del bagno si switcherà automaticamente dopo un breve periodo di tempo, può essere un po'interrotta, soprattutto se non mi muovo intorno (durante il tempo di bagno).
Sarebbe molto più conveniente e più confortevole avere una luce regolare, quindi non dovrei abbandonare la mia mano o fare un movimento aggiuntivo per tenere la luce in funzione.

Facilities: The hotel features a beautiful outdoor pool with great views, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. I also had the chance to visit the fitness center, which was well-equipped. The on-site restaurant offered a variety of both local and international dishes, and I found the breakfast buffet to be particularly impressive.

UUtente ospiteStaying at Ozo hotel was amazing! The rooms are big and spacious with a nice city view of Penang. The bathrooms are squeaky clean. The sound proofing is great as I can't hear other rooms at all and lastly the service provided by staff was great. This will be my go to pick of a hotel if I visited Penang again!

GGrace Ling SEThe hotel is like 5-7 mins drive to Komtar, the town center. Easy to find food around, walking distance around 3-5 mins from the hotel. I stayed in room 205. The room was spacious but without a window because it's in the center. The bathroom space was just nice, bathroom ”wall” was a piece of large glass covered with blinds. Toilet exhaust fan doesn't seem to work. The room aircond took some time to get cold but it's not very cold although already put to 16°c, full fan speed or turbo mode. Maybe it needs some servicing. For those who are driving, they have a small basement parking with 6 parking lots and the front of the hotel can park up to 3 cars.

IIsabelleLa posizione dell'hotel è proprio nel punto caldo di Georgetown. Ma di notte c'è rumore fino alle 2 del mattino. Quindi, se hai intenzione di festeggiare di notte, è l'ideale e si trova a pochi passi da Love Lane e da tutte le aree turistiche di Georgetown.
Ma se desiderate dormire e rilassarvi dopo la mezzanotte sicuramente non è l'hotel adatto a voi.
La camera era OK in termini di dimensioni, ma molte zanzare provenivano dallo scarico del bagno. Ne ho uccisi almeno 50 grazie ad una zanzariera 🤣 Il consiglio è chiudere le tende del bagno così non entrano in camera da letto.
L'umidità nella stanza aveva la vernice scrostata.
Considerato il prezzo, non credo che la qualità della camera fosse sufficiente. Specialmente per la combinazione di umidità e zanzare.
Il menù della colazione non era disponibile ma potete tranquillamente andare in fondo alla strada e mangiare comodamente oppure ordinare con l'applicazione grab. Nessun bar disponibile nell'hotel.
Le aree comuni sono pulite. Mi è piaciuto che devi toglierti le scarpe all'ingresso.
Ci sono delle scale per entrare nell'hotel ma ti aiutano con i bagagli. La prima volta che arrivi devi suonare il campanello affinché ti aprano. Piccola porta all'inizio non facile da individuare. Suggerisco all'hotel di attaccare il nome direttamente sulla porta all'altezza degli occhi e in grande per evitare confusione. Ho caricato una foto della porta per non perderti.
Dopo aver effettuato il check-in ti daranno il codice della porta così facile da farti passare.
Il personale è stato utile quando richiesto ma non interagendo o dando suggerimenti o chiedendoti come stanno andando le cose.
Ho valutato la pulizia nella media perché quando sono arrivato c'erano molti capelli in bagno. Ho dovuto letteralmente toglierlo per 5 minuti. Capelli lunghi e folti... Non sono sicuro di come abbiano fatto a non notarlo.
A parte questo stavano pulendo bene il resto del soggiorno.
Internet non era facile da ottenere quando si era in camera, ma nelle aree comuni o vicino alla porta della stanza funziona meglio. Non risparmiare sulla sim e comprala in aeroporto per avere sempre internet sul tuo cellulare. Ti aiuterà comunque con le mappe e fuori.
Il taxi dall'aeroporto era molto comodo a soli 30 minuti e ho ordinato con il servizio di presa arrivato entro 5 minuti.
