Conta un paio di hotel bellissimi a Liu City, lo stile architettonico di Nanjing è molto piacevole, l'aspetto delizioso e antico, il piccolo giardino è anche molto bello, adatto per fotografare le carte.La colazione è molto ricca, si può scegliere molto, è deliziosa.Il gatto che è stato allevato dall'hotel è molto carino e familiare. Purtroppo l'unica carenza è che il bagno spesso non ha acqua calda, c'è un po'di rammarico, spero di migliorare.

E' iniziato brutto. È entrato presto per lasciare il bagaglio e il tizio che ha fatto il check-in era freddo, in piedi, e non si è nemmeno disturbato a rispondere alle nostre piaceri. Quando siamo tornati, un malinteso è stato assicurato. Avevo un incontro precedente, ma grazie per la gentilezza di Suhaila (penso) e del suo manager - hanno scalato la situazione con grazia e plomb. Quel bump da parte, ho avuto un bel tempo. Ero nella stanza 213. Inizialmente ero preoccupato perché ho letto delle questioni di rumore che provengono dal club vicino alla porta, ma sia il club sia il suono sono stato chiuso, non c'erano disturbi. La stanza era bella, e la posizione è sorprendente. Questo hotel è altamente raccomandato. Basta non preoccuparti di pagare un colazione extra. Questo era solo troppo triste. L'abbiamo provato il nostro ultimo giorno in hotel, mentre andavamo presto all'aeroporto. Era vergognoso.

I paid 150 RMB for high tea today and although the product was creative and a bit fun I left hungry. My main issue however was the service. It appears there was no manager on duty because the staff were messing about on their mobile phones and I had to always ask them for things because they were focussed on chatting and their phones. It wasn’t 5 star at all and having managed hotels the service was actually appalling. I found a bit of plastic in one of the dishes and the staff member just took it from me and threw it in the bin. No acknowledgement. Then I was waiting in the lobby for my cab and I can hear front desk staff laughing and messing about. They were only interested in messing about. I feel cheated by todays experience and I hope they get manager back on duty soon because today it was not being managed at all

Good clean hotel. Breakfast not bad with some variety. Clean and spacious room. Request for extra towel took 2 calls and some wait though. Sea facing view was only at corner of window. Location is good though. Walkable to Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon 2 shopping centres. Link to Gurney Walk with 24 hour express, money changer, subway, icecream cafe and restaurant was superbly convenient. Behind also have the shop to buy tau sa piah and white coffee back. Allowed late checkout to 2pm which we super appreciate as traffic jam in Georgetown was crazy. We could do some sightseeing/shopping before checkout. Enjoyed the stay. Thank you very much.

Hotel is nice, however I highly recommend to change or move carpets in the corridor - they looks terrible and at first glance spoil the impression about the place. Rooms were clean, bathroom is new, hot water is very good. That is a pity you couldn’t open the windows, we have a view on the nearest building roofs, looks not bad. We had a problem with AC, cause it works from extremely cold mode, to slow fan and the worst it was located in front of the bad, so if you switch it on for whole night - you will be ill in the morning, and the room is in the sunny side, so it is quite hot during the day and night. I don’t know how to be with that, we choose to move one of the 2 twin beds to each other, it helped not so much :( now i have a problem with my throat. The hotel use new technology of check in, but a little bit strange to check out from the same room if you want to extend your stay. Price in the hotel too high, better to find good offers online.

The white elevator is very unique to this elevator. Tho it was slow but I don’t mind bec it so chic with glass door. Very unique indeed! Love it though I wasn’t able to take pic. 😒 +++ white elevator, water refilling dispenser, very spacious room & bathroom +++ location was quite away from the main action but there are 2 bus stops nearby, komtar & chowrasta are 5-10mins walk +++ they provide dental kit, small soap, nice shampoo/conditioner & body wash, mugs, electric kettle, safe, ref, ac was functioning very well, room telephone, tv but i did not use it +++ free wifi was good —- reception is not very friendly except for 1 Indian guy who promptly answers whatsapp tho he mistaken me for a guy at first 😄, the chinese receptionist hardly smiles, indian lady seemed to not know anything when you ask about tourist spots (i think hotel people should equip themselves with some knowledge on tourism. I mean there should be basic orientation by management on this. Times had changed and you need to have these extra customer service, just suggesting). —- i was in the assumption that cleaning is daily but i was told every other day but i still need to remind them about it. Entire hotel can use some improvement in the cleaning — no closet inside the room, you just have to hang your stuff —- my view was a huge wall —- soundproofing is bad, very noisy when people close doors or children running around. You hear toilet flushing from nearby rooms —- it was raining when I arrive and nobody offered an umbrella except on the second day when the janitor heard me. That was appreciated very much. It also made me realize that umbrella is a weapon for solo travellers so that made the carrying a little easier —- towels smell mushy maybe bec of rainy season —- sometimes bathroom had some drainage smells —- food choices was a little limited in area unless you walk for like 5-10mins. Overall stay was still on the good side. I had way worst stays than this. I did enjoy my solo trip to Penang and would love to go back. I plan to stay next time near the street art areas where the actions are. I would still recommend le embassy to other travellers.

Beautiful heritage hotel. The Chulia suite is spacious, airy and beautifully appointed. Good air con, comfortable beds and nice little touches add to a fabulous stay. The staff were welcoming, helpful and very professional. The location is great right in the centre of Georgetown. Definitely recommended!

Tarin ( spero che il suo nome sia corretto) ha avuto il sorriso più grande e ha raccomandato un meraviglioso ristorante indiano chiamato Gem. Speravamo di rimanere una notte extra, ma l'hotel era pieno, quindi Tarin ha contattato l'altro hotel dove potevamo rimanere. Speriamo che Tarin possa essere ricompensato in qualche modo. Stayed 4 nights in MM. chose this hotel due to some sentimental reasons. My aunt used to live in one of the units along Muntri Street. The location of the hotel is good, can easily walk to many eateries and attractions. However there are a few AFI that the hotel can look into. 1. A signage could be put at the door to show the reception area. On the day of check in, the staff was not at her table. I walked into the property with my luggage, passed the cafe and wander all over unsure where the check in reception was. I passed by the waiters in the cafe but none approached us to ask if we were checking in - thought it was obvious with us lugging our luggage all over. I had to ask a waiter who pointed to the room next to the cafe which was the reception, with just a desk and laptop. 2. Upon check in was shown a unit opposite the main building. Our room was on the 2nd floor and we had to climb a steep staircase. I’m ok with the staircase as long as someone could help us with the luggage up the stairs. My mum is 73 and my aunt is 72. All 3 of us are ladies and I would have issue managing 2 huge luggage. Was happy that the hotel assisted to bring the luggage up upon check in. 3. The day before check out, I went to the reception to ask for help with the luggage for the next day. We had to leave for the airport at 7.30am. The lady at the desk told me that their staff only start work at 8am and the person working the night shift is an old uncle so he’ll not be able to help. I told her my mum and aunt are in their 70s. It is difficult for us to carry the luggage down the steep stairs. She offered no solution and looked at me blankly. She also told me she would not be in so early to do the check out. So I asked her how to settle my bill and finally decided to pay up on the spot. Frankly I was really upset with her service. Eventually to solve our problem, we packed all our stuff into recycling bags and laundry (thanks to the hotel for supplying quite a few) bags the night before. In the morning on check out day, we carried the empty luggage to the first floor, it was more manageable. Then we carried all our recycling bags and laundry bags in batches and repacked into our luggage on the first floor. I would think the hotel could be more accommodating by asking a staff to come in half an hour early to assist with the luggage. With the price that I paid, I really hope the service could be better.

First experience with capsule hotel bed and dormitory with 3 other lovely female travellers. Fortunately, it was an experience exceeding all expectations!! First WOW - look at all the cultural heritage, beautiful art, antique items and furniture, the Feng Shui Koi pond, water fountain, greenery! OMG- better than visiting a museum- you get to live and experience it!!! Second WOW- looking for street food? Walk around and you see stalls selling the local delish: SATAY, Lok Lok, Char Hor Fun and other stalls. Also, the handicraft stores with Batik and wooden sculptures! Other amenities : open swimming pool, 3 shower room next to it and hair dryer (tip: the water pressure and shower much more satisfying compared to bathtub or shower inside dorm room, and a game/ relax room filled with couch to wind down after a tiring day. and just Final WOW- the receptionist and staffs are helpful and well-informed! Guests were invited to join in the fun and you can see guests lounging in the open, relaxed and chatting with the staffs! Room for improvement: mosquitoes... can't seem to get rid of them ( so be prepared) and the places are considered clean... but not spotless. I hope this culturally rich building can be well maintained, and the places be properly upgraded even more as it succeeds as one of the most valuable hotel experience in Georgetown 🥰
