Abbiamo scelto l'ammiraglio per la sua posizione e il suo costo.Abbiamo trovato il personale molto utile e accogliente. La nostra stanza era un buon standard e molto pulito. Molte capsule di latte, che non sempre è il caso. Il colazione era davvero buono. La prossima volta rimarremo, mangiamo al ristorante. Inoltre, la prossima volta ci prenotiamo direttamente con il Inn come è un modo più amichevole e sicuro - piuttosto che un'agenzia di prenotazione. Ci siamo pienamente goditi l'esperienza. The Edgewater 109 is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Geelong will find that the Edgewater 109 is a fantastic accommodation choice.Traveling to the hotel is easy with Geelong Train Station located approximately 900m away and Avalon Airport roughly 23km away. Famous local attractions MoPA: Museum of Play and Art, Eastern Park and Geelong Waterfront, can all be reached with a short walk.When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities.

Starting to really show it's age and is in need of maintenance in appearance and basic facilities. BUT it has positives if you don't expect too much for the price. Negatives (example): Basin tap not fastened down at all, shower head sprayed water everywhere and also a steady stream downpour, plates, cutlery, microwave provided but spoons and a knife only, no forks, no soap. Positives: Split system air con new and worked well, linen and towels appeared clean and spotless and The Corio is a quick easy drive to a major shopping centre just up the road with great shopping choices. Fair price, good location to explore from but certainly average in looks and room condition. But the main bonus for me was very close and an easy ride down to the departure dock of the Spirit Of Tasmania boat to Tassie. Also I had a day to head off to look around down South along The Great Ocean Road so good value.

The gentleman who works there is lovely. A warm greeting and helpful. We wanted to go in the po and he asked what my daughter’s favourite music was then put it on for her.

My stay at the parkwood will be memorable for all the wrong reasons, the list of reasons you shouldn’t stay here are as follows, The room upon arrival was dusty and I found many hidden treasure in my room the ‘cleaner’ shouldn’t have missed, like a knife in the wall?. My room was constantly left with wet towels and I went without a working shower in my room for several nights. The maid knocks and also enters without waiting for a reply. The service here provided by all staff is rude , during my stay I was harassed and abused by the manager and also the yard worker. Who accused me of yelling when the people above my room were screaming and throwing furniture. The police attend the motel more than anyone else as the owner calls when you invite any visitor to your room, On numerous occasions during my stay myself and other people witnessed the motel owner invade the privacy of peoples rooms when she knows they have gone out and taken belongings from people’s rooms. I myself found my door left unlocked and opened after she let herself in to my room to go through my belongings. The cleanliness of this hotel is atrocious and frankly I don’t know how it is legal to run any form of accommodation at this low of a standard. Frankly I don’t think they can legally advertise Foxtel here when it’s only 8 Channels provided over a digital remote having no actual access to Foxtel channels or the TV guide? My stay at the parkwood has been eventful but I highly recommend you stay anywhere else. Extremely disappointed.

We only had one night at the Golden Palms and we were pleasantly surprized. My partner booked it and when I saw the main road location next to a hotel I was a little worried about the noise level - I'm a very light sleeper. BUT there was no issues at all - unless you think some noisy lorikeets in the morning rate as a problem........ Our room was on the hotel side of the motel - not at the front. [Plenty of glasses & cups, but no plates/bowls - maybe available on request ??] Microwave/toaster/electric jug provided - there may have been knives/forks/spoons
