Gedong Tengen: hotel con bar

The staffs in this hotel were very lovely and efficient. The only downside is the hairdryer, it’s provided only upon request and it’s not efficient in drying hair.. let’s just say it took almost 15mins to actually feel like it had warm air coming out.. and it’s at 1300w 😂 I would advice people with thick and long hair like myself to bring your own hairdryer. The shampoo and body wash were not topped up well upon check in, I had to request as there was a shortage in some. Besides these minor issues, bed was comfy and the room was clean :)

hotel strategicamente situato vicino a Malioboro ....e altre attrazioni turistiche ... Keratone, Beringharjo, ...etc Hotel vecchio e non ben mantenuto ... letto un po 'giallo ....camera non pulita ....bagno ...Old and tinted. Breafast ...so così .....Opzioni limitate .... il standard molto sotto se confrontato con altre catene di stili Ibis e hotel sotto il gruppo Accor.

I was wowed the instance I stepped into Royal Malioboro, first by the beautiful lobby, followed by our room which was very tastefully appointed and super comfortable. Royal Malioboro is also perfectly located at just a few steps off Malioboro Street but far from the madding crowds and buskers. The train station is also just steps away so while we do hear it occasionally, it is super convenient for catching a train to/from the Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) which is otherwise approx 1.5-2hrs by car depending on traffic (Note: Book your train tickets in advance as they do sell out). There are also plenty of F&B options and convenience stores just across the road from the hotel which levels up its convenience. Just a couple of minor quips. For a hotel of such high standards, please provide actual facial tissue paper. Also, we stayed 3 nights and while I appreciate that sheets and bath towels need not be changed everyday, I think our bath floor mat should be changed by the second night. Replacing complimentary bottled water with a common water dispenser along the corridor is a great move towards being more eco-friendly but I'm slightly concerned about hygiene in view that the world has just emerged from the pandemic. These are not major issues at all but fixing them will push Royal Malioboro towards perfection (in its category).

Inap 2 malam di kamar eksekutif king room. Pesan yg double bed namun diksh yg twin bed yg didempetkan. Pas masuk kamar , komplimentary aqua tdk tersedia terpaksa telp dulu baru diantar. Property kamar masih oke, bersih. Ac dan TV berfungsi normal. Shower kencang. Sofar so good lah. Kolam renang kecil berada disamping area sarapan. Menu sarapan sesuai dengan kelas hotel. 1 lagi dekat dengan stasiun KA.

La posizione era buona. Solo vicino alla strada Malioboro. Ma è un po' rumoroso perché non è un hotel di piano molto alto. Devo ottenere un asciugacapelli dalla ricezione. Il bagno era grande e solo lo shampoo è stato fornito. Il pacchetto di bagni comprende la spazzola, la pasta dentale, il cappotto da doccia. La tovagliola era vecchia, meglio portare la tovagliola se la cavava. Pillow e quilt era abbastanza vecchia. In generale, valeva il pegno!

Old painting on the room, limited space for car parking,friendly staff, near for attractive place specially malioboro street, also close with bakpia patokan 25, good atmosphere to walk at the night. Can buy some souvenirs and cheap cloth. In the morning can buy at the local market

The room was ok in that price. But it was close to the street and was very noisy. Hard to sleep at night. Room was clean. In the hallway there were no windows, so walking from the room to the elevator was a challenge , because it stinks quite bad. But breakfast was compensating a lot. Very divers and good.

Very short holiday in Yogyakarta, but we have a pleasant stay at Prima in Malioboro. We got adjoining room based on our inquiries, nevertheless all hospitalities were warm welcome from Reception to Restaurant, further more we also enjoyed our breakfast there, i like bubur sumsum, very nice taste. Last but not least, i sent my thankfullness to Housekeeping staff and Reception to arrange my lost and found T shirt Yogya for my small gifts to my family. Will come back again. See you all
