Hotel vicini a Padang Point Beach a Gaya Island

We spent a couple of nights here with our 5 year old and had a lovely time. We wanted to leave a review to balance out some of the other reviews and so we’ll focus on the positives only. Worth reading a few reviews to get a holistic view but one thing I’d say is this isn’t a place to ‘avoid’ in our opinion. We felt it was a beautiful place to spend a few days as part of maybe a longer trip around Borneo. That’s from the perspective of having kids. Maybe couples would stay longer. Photos show the view from the pool in the morning when the water is up - it is STUNNING! Water crystal clear. When the water goes out later in the day, the beach is exposed and our son spent a lot of time playing there digging. We were there 30th Aug - 1st Sept and weather was perfect. Hot!! Sun is really strong here, cover up! Wake up for sunrise if you fancy a beautiful view! Rooms comfy and good space. Staff are generally lovely. The most beautiful people. A particular shout out to the water sports staff, the female manager (I think she’s called Rosie), and the staff who help you on and off the boat, thank you Raj for the recommendation to get an Uber! We loved the snorkelling - perfect with an adventurous 5 year old who saw lots of fish but it wasn’t too deep. You can snorkel from the sunbeds and grab a paddle board - great fun! Our air con didn’t work in the first room (I think this is rare) and we were moved swiftly to a new room. Air con was great after that and slept well in it. We heard great things about Cove restaurant - we didn’t go as kids under 12 not allowed but the food sounded very good. We always got sun beds around 8/9am but understand that later in the day they might be taken. We didn’t get a chance to go to the private beach and see the rescue turtles but next time we would do. The real gem for us of this place is the view from the sunbeds as per pics. Read a few more reviews to see if it’s right for you as we focus here on the positives! Grande resort. Ci siamo fermati nella villa oceanica 30 per due notti. Ben mantenuto e posto speciale. Il personale è veramente sorprendente. Grazie speciali a Karl, il direttore del resort per aver ascoltato il nostro feedback e per aver ripreso un bel karma. Grazie anche al cuoco del ristorante per il miglior cibo che abbiamo avuto finora in Malaysia. Alcuni piccoli miglioramenti: - l'aria condizionata è un po' troppo alta anche in modo dormiente per continuare durante la notte - durante e dopo una pioggia tropicale il piombo non può più prenderla, accettiamo, ma non l'odore che ha dato all'interno della stanza. - sport acquatici liberi, kayak, subs - kayak al mangrove, fatelo da soli - colazione al vostro jet - molto buon cibo, miglior valore per soldi - personale orientato alla cura di tutti i dintorni che prendono molto bene cura di voi - pulizia plastica giornaliera dalla resort. Ricorda che non è il loro rifiuti. Faranno qualsiasi cosa per minimizzare l'impronta di plastica, anche fornendo le vostre bottiglie di bevanda - camere molto pulite, letti grandi, bagno sorprendente - solo un breve viaggio a barca da KK lontano Terima Kasih Echoresorts :)

Il servizio è fantastico dal personale.Amo i bagni e la spray di bug repelente dal bagno del resort, anche se non siamo stati in trattamento di spa. Il menu del ristorante è limitato, ma il cibo è buono. Non c'è molto da vedere se si snorkeling, ma caiacchi e paddleboard sono alternative divertenti. L'isola è facile da raggiungere dal centro della città di Kota Kinabalu, ma non si potrebbe vedere il risalto o il risalto del sole da qui. La tempesta di notte ha portato delle dighe alla costa, ma il villaggio li avrebbe puliti al mattino, e hanno bufali per fare le ghiandole di sabbia.

Location is excellent just right in front the sea and the main jetty to islands. Resort has in house tram to send guests to their next door club house building. We got a room balcony with golf course view plus can see airplanes fly over for landing, very relaxing.

Seriamente!!! La stanza è molto pulita e tesa. E' che il senso di essere a casa anche se sei lontano dalla tua casa. Devo dire che è molto conveniente muoversi intorno alla città, e-hailing è facile da ottenere. Il cibo è solo un contatto lontano dal nostro telefono. Una vasta selezione di ristoranti vicini. Beh, non ci sono denunce, perché ho un buon riposo notturno prima del nostro volo.. peraltro, l'aeroporto è solo una distanza a piedi se ti piace avere una passeggiata .. solo una suggerimento per i bagagli

Room was good, but the lock door is broken. When we went out. I had to close and bang loudly so the door can locked. picture attach is view from the hotel

The room was clean amd neat. The receptionists were friendly and welcoming. Everything was good, the only downside is the noisy club at the upper floor. If you are a light sleeper, consider booking other places.

Fantastico servizio fornito. Cercando negozi di fotocopie vicino alla zona ma non poteva trovare alla notte. Fortunatamente, l'hotel fornisce stampante. Sicuramente prenotera' di nuovo un giorno.

Spacious room can fit my family it comes with 2 queen beds (3 adults + 2kids). Only one aircond but there was a hanging fan too. Old furniture and it would be better if renovate this apartment into modern looks. U have to pay parking rm3/parking and if U go out at the same day, U have to pay again for rm3. From the parking lot, U need to steps stairs then U ll find a lift lobby huh not recommended with bulky luggage.

Very disappointed..I don't know why you staff say the remote tv gone.!!!!then I loose my deposit RM50,,,for those bastard staff,,if U want took d RM50,just let me know and don't claim or charged me like a thief to stole U remote tv... Just let those person who check my room that time,,I won't let U go so easily...”berani buat berani tanggung,tolong jangan menyesal...”
