Dolores and her husband are very nice and friendly hosts. The B&B was cozy and quiet, with a generous breakfast. The area is really peaceful and beautiful. Thank you for your kindness, we had a great time.

Dolores and John are absolutely amazing! Their accommodation is really a place you can call home sweet home during your stay in Ireland. They are truly very kind, caring and provide an excellent service, super clean and comfy en suite rooms, delicious breakfast and a wonderful company if it comes to a pint, or a glass of wine after a tiring day ;) God bless you! Dolores is an absolute Angel!! She was the most hospitable, caring, and amusing hostess we have ever met. I had suffered from food poisoning just the day before I arrived at her and John’s B&B and she took AMAZINGLY good care of me, where I felt 1000% better by the time I left. They also have a really goofy and SWEET Labradoodle who we fell absolutely in love with! We highly recommend staying at her beautiful place. You won’t regret it!

We had the pleasure of staying one night here and really regret we didn't take the time to spend more. Dolores is delightful as is her sister in law-Pat. We were met with tea and pastries and assisted with setting up a small area for a phone call we had to take from the US. Dolores has such a hand on the history and what to do in the area. I wish I had the ability to consult with her prior to coming to Ireland. I am keeping her notes with the hope we can make it back to this lovely home and the area.

Have to say im gutted leaving my apartment in forest hill bnb after nearly 4 years here,have nvr met a family more welcoming and friendly ,so to dolores and john and family thank you for everything i will not forget ye or your home,stay safe and keep in touch,James

Merci à Dolorès et à son chien Crayon pour l’accueil chaleureux. C’était tout simplement parfait. La chambre était propre et très jolie ! Le petit déjeuner était bon aussi. Nous recommandons sans hésitation ce B&B ! Dolorès qui est adorable, vous aidera à planifier vos visites dans le Connemara.

Forest Hill is een mooie B&B die wat lastig te bereiken is. Maar zeker de moeite waard om te proberen. De eigenaresse Dolores was heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Ook was ze aanwezig voor tips in de omgeving. Vanuit Oughterard is het mogelijk om heel Conemara te verkennen . Jammer dat het dorp veel gesloten bedrijven had. Galway is echter dichtbij en de moeite waard. Clifden op een uur rijden bruiste en heeft leuke bezienswaardigheden waarvan Sky Road een aanrader is.

Je suis resté 3 semaines presque 1 mois, pour travailler sur Galway. Dolorès est remarquable. Ma chambre était top, vu sur le lac du Connemara ! Dolorès m’emmenais tous les matins et me récupérais tous les soirs à l’arrêt de bus de oughterad pour aller sur galway, cetais vraiment adorable. Petit déjeuné, déjeuné pour le travail, et dîner fait par les soins de Dolorès. Lit chauffant et réglable selon vos besoins ! Elle a prit réellement soin de moi. J’ai vécu une expérience inoubliable et rencontré des gens adorable ! Ils ont un chien nomme « crayon » gentil comme tous. Ma chambre était propres. J’ai eu la chance d’avoir sur 3 semaines un super temps. Dolorès est à l’écoute de tous le monde et pour tous. Elle fait TOUJOURS en sorte que tous ce passe bien et est au petit soin. Je recommande vivement. Dolorès merci encore pour tous ! ❤️ (PS : j’ai lu presque tous les avis, sincèrement niveau propreté ma chambre, comme la chambre de mon ami était très propres aucun soucie de ce niveau la.)

Dolores, John et sans oublier Crayon sont tous très sympathiques, charmante maison située tout prêt d’un lac avec une magnifique vue et d’une charmante petite ville. Vous serez à coup sûr chaleureusement accueilli. Excellent petit-déjeuner complet et très fourni. Les chambres sont suffisantes et excellente salle de bain. Excellente expérience garanti !
