Nel complesso ci siamo trovati davvero bene. I letti sono comodi, la doccia grande, la stanza che ci hanno fornito era adatta ad una famiglia di 4 persone. Ho sfruttato anche il bollitore, il the e caffè solubile, il ferro da stiro e il phon in dotazione. Comode anche le prese USB per caricare i cellulari. L'hotel è in una posizione centrale e molto comoda, vicino a pullman e stazione ma devo dire che era anche molto tranquilla e poco rumorosa.

It's always difficult to tell online when researching hotels if it's a good location, good service, etc. The location is hard to beat as it's right where the action is. The music does seem to go late every night (not just the weekends) so if you have a room facing the front, keep that in consideration if you're a light sleeper. Service was ok, there was a day where our room was missed so we had to inform the front desk. The front desk was very helpful. The room size was quite good for us. I would definitely recommend.

Grande soggiorno! Camere senza spazi pulite e piccole ma comode. QUIET, anche se la nostra finestra era proprio sopra Quay Street, una passeggiata piedestra, non abbiamo sentito nulla. Centralmente situato! E i ragazzi del dipartimento frontale sanno davvero come fare il servizio al cliente! Ci siamo fermati in una delle camere con tre letti. Un grande posto per stare! Jim G.

We stayed in a ”snug” room at the Lane at the end of May/beginning of June 2023. Upon arrival, we had a small snafu over our reserved parking space but it was resolved quickly by the front desk person (Vanessa). She also provided us with good tips on places to eat and drink. The room was indeed ”snug”, but that was expected based upon our reservation. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was very nice, and the in room A/C worked perfectly. This hotel is located located ideally in Galway. It is easy to walk to all of the sights in Galway and close to the hop on hop off bus in Eyre Square and another stop. It's also easy to drive to. It's also right next to the bus and train station if traveling via those methods. Pubs and restaurants are within steps of the front door. We loved that the hotel had an elevator (lift) as most of the places we stayed in Ireland did not have one. Additionally, this is one of the few hotels we stayed in that had a refrigerator of any type even though it was pretty small. If we return to Galway in the future we will definitely stay at the Lane again.

In un anonimo albergone alla periferia di Galway una cena squisita ed inaspettata. Pochi piatti in menù ma per la nostra esperienza una scelta deliziosa. Ottima birra ipa prodotta localmente. Servizio attento e velocissimo. Da consigliare assolutamente

After an overnight flight into Dublin, there are several bus lines and regular services to drive you to Galway (expect about a 2 hour drive). From the bus stations in Galway it's a 15 minute cab ride (less than 20 Euros). Galway Bay Hotel has a great view on Galway Bay within walking distance of the suburb of Salthill restaurant and bar area. You are however a good 30 minute walk from the Latin quarter of Galway city and its historical venues. Galway Bay Hotel has its charms with vast rooms and dedicated staff. I can not however give this an ”Excellent” nor a ”Good” score. First there is no AC. First night there the weather was unseasonably warm, and it was uncomfortable. Although the room was clean, there was lingering musty smell (I suppose it was coming from the carpet). Overall it's a good stay but manage certain expectations.

Buon albergo a circa 25 minuti a piedi dal centro di Galway, dotato di ampio parcheggio gratuito. La nostra stanza era ampia, con bagno. Pulizia OK. Il letto è confortevole. La stanza è abbastanza silenziosa. Buona colazione (per noi compresa nel prezzo della stanza) a buffet, molto abbondante e varia. accoglienza; checkin veloce; checkout velocissimo.

Bella casa per stare.Camminare breve dalla città.Il cibo è eccellente. L'unica cosa che ho dimenticato di fare al checkout è il bagno nella stanza 137 è chiuso in pochi posti, ho pensato che fosse sporco al primo posto e è fuori mettere.Mia moglie non ha usato il bagno a causa di questo e il masticatore intorno al bagno non sembra grandeE'anche un fuoco dal cisterne del bagno.In generale, un bel posto per stare e molto rilassante.

The Ardilaun is a fine hotel, very welcoming and with excellent facilities. The location is convenient, close to the Salthill promenade and Galway City, although you will need to remember that if you walk down to the beachfront (recommended) it is all uphill on the way back! The food is very good, and the service is top-notch. The gym and swimming pool are very well maintained and worth a visit. Our room (superior double) was large and bright, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, a very enjoyable stay, and we will definitely look here first if we visit Salthill again.
