Benvenuti - ci siamo salutati bene all'arrivo Questo è stato l'ultimo hotel in viaggio che abbiamo chiesto un aggiornamento. Il ricevitore ha detto che l'hotel era pieno, ma non è stato il caso quando abbiamo controllato con il personale di custodia. Le camere sono state molto confortevoli e sono state molto confortevoli e non sono state ben accolte. F&B - Il cibo e il servizio al ristorante principale erano eccellenti. Era il luogo incredibile che ho visitato. Ha avuto un grande benvenuto dal personale della linea di fronte. La stanza è perfetta e ha una grande vista. La cena e il colazione erano incredibili e molto deliziosi. Il buffet del colazione aveva una vasta selezione di cibo occidentale e locale. Ho chiesto di organizzare una torta di compleanno all'ora del colazione e hanno organizzato una torta deliziosa con una sorpresa speciale di compleanno.

This place is amazing, but it would be nothing without the staff who really made our stay special. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they are both friendly, helpful and hard working, always on hand to help with any little thing, even if it is just local travel advice. The deputy manager Kumarasiri was especially friendly and made sure our every need was met. The room was huge an easily accomodated the four of us, we had the pool suite which opened on both sides, to the pool and also the beachfront garden, where you can dine, use the sunbeds or just relax on a sofa and read, that's if you don't want to sit on your large balcony. The beds were very comfortable and the 4-poster in the main room was huge. everything was provided in the bathroom, loads of towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, shower gel. The restaurant and dining were fabulous, breakfast has a range of options from traditional Sri Lankan breakfast with sambal and rice to continential or cooked, loads of fresh fruit and juice, and of course tea, it wouldn't be Sri Lanka without Ceylon tea. Evening meals were fabulous, we ate there most nights, very reasonable pricing for such tasty and feshly cooked food, i particularly enjoyed the black pork curry and my kids loved the fried noodles and fried rice. Our kids loved the pool area, it's secluded and sheltered, right next to the rooms and the pool bar. The hotel itself is secured at night and has a permanent security guard once the staff go home, the guard is a lovely fellow, constantly patrolling and keeping an eye out which is very reassurring. One day we had to leave to go to the temple at a very early hour of 5am, so the hotel prepared us packed breakfasts (which they didn't have to do) and the security guard made sure we had them ready for when we left. I cannot reccomend this place more highly, out of the 5 places we stayed in Sri Lanka, from east to west coast, this was the highlight and the best accomodation experience, it way exceeeded my expectations, especially given the very cheap price, i would not have expected somewhere so good at such a low price per night for 4 people.

Ho avuto la fortuna di soggiornare in questo bellissimo albergo a Giugno, durante prime tre notti di un recente, indimenticabile viaggio in Sri Lanka. La posizione è semplicemente spettacolare: a breve distanza di tuk tuk dal centro di Galle (circa tre km), l’hotel si affaccia su un ampio tratto di mare e dal vasto e curato giardino dotato di due scenografiche piscine, dai ristoranti e dalle camere che si snodano in modo armonico nella proprietà, si godono viste meravigliose. Nell’intera struttura, progettata dal leggendario architetto Geoffrey Bawa, si percepisce la ricerca del connubio fra raffinatezza e natura che permette di vivere tante piccole suggestioni: per esempio consumare un’ottima e varia prima colazione seduti ad un tavolo in prossimità della scogliera sferzata dalle onde, osservando l’indolente camminata di un varano mentre si è a propria volta osservati da un King Fisher, sono esperienze che ti rimangono dentro. La suite in cui alloggiavamo era molto grande e vivibile, arredata con gusto e dotata di idromassaggio in bagno e di una vasca esterna affacciata sul mare; la pulizia è sempre stata impeccabile. Il personale ha dimostrato una calda professionalità, disponibilità e cortesia; un particolare encomio va allo staff del ristorante specializzato in cucina di pesce, dove si sono prodigati per soddisfare ogni richiesta speciale e offrirci due cene squisite (con una menzione speciale per il capo sala Janapriya). Davvero non riuscirei a immaginare un altro hotel, per un prossimo soggiorno a Galle…

We spent three weeks driving around Sri Lanka and, with a few days left before heading to the Maldives, decided to explore the southern province. Despite May not being the ideal season to visit the southwest, our experience at The Charleston at Galle Fort more than compensated for it. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to exceptional hospitality that truly set The Charleston apart. I hold top elite status with several hotel chains and have stayed in numerous premium five-star hotels, but the level of service here was on another level. The staff went above and beyond in every aspect, from the warm welcome at check-in to the personalized attention throughout our stay. The location, just south of Galle Fort, serves as an excellent base for exploring the area.

Agnus Unawatuna è un po'sulle montagne, ma il viaggio in alto vale così la pena. Il luogo è tranquillo e la vista è fantastica; si ottiene una vista al di sopra del mare in tutta la sua gloria, e si può anche godere la vista della famosa Galle Fort e Lighthouse da lontano. Firstly this probably merits 3.5 out of 5. The reason is I felt quite disappointed when we arrived, having booked directly with the hotel and asking for “Superior” rooms which bear no resemblance to the Superior ones shown on the well-known booking site. I initially thought we’d been given the wrong rooms and had to double check with reception . We had two rooms which at $96 per night were the most expensive of our trip. We don’t normally spend a lot on hotels so this was meant to be a treat at the end of a long tour. These rooms were pretty basic, smelt quite musty as they were built in to the rock face, had many steps to reach and the sofa in one room was torn. The mosquito net had several holes in it. I understand that Sri Lanka has had a rough time recently but to charge these kind of prices, especially in the low season is not really justifiable. The hotel really needs a good returb, and I noticed that the rooms below ours were being updated during our stay. Plus points were the staff - absolutely amazing, helpful and polite and the food which was delicious- try the fresh fish/seafood plates. Also it was really difficult to find! Put up a sign board! The hotel has some way to go before it can be accurately described as a “luxury boutique hotel”. Overpriced.

Caro Araliya Resort Team, volevo esprimere il mio apprezzamento per l'esperienza meravigliosa della mia famiglia e ho avuto durante il nostro soggiorno al Araliya Resort Unawatuna dal pranzo il 24 al colazione il 25°. Dal momento in cui siamo arrivati, siamo stati benvenuti nel lobby, impostando il tono per un soggiorno meraviglioso. Il Manager residente, il signor Lahiru, ci ha salutati al desk front, fornendo una spiegazione chiara e utile delle offerte dell’hotel. Il signor Sandaru ci ha portato nella nostra stanza, numero 217, al secondo piano. La pulizia dell’hotel era eccellente, e il servizio della stanza era impeccabile. Questo rendeva davvero la nostra permanenza confortevole e piacevole. Vorrei esprimere il mio più profondo apprezzamento per l'intero personale, in particolare: Manager residente, il signor Lahiru Restaurant and Bar Manager, il signor Santhush il signor Chandana E il personale dedicato al Araliya Resort Grazie per aver reso il nostro soggiorno un ricordo . Abbiamo aspettato che ritorni in futuro.

Il posto è meraviglioso con un lussuoso giardino nella zona di Unawatuna sulla strada turistica principale. Ci hanno lasciato per un check-in precoce, quindi non abbiamo dovuto aspettare nella zona lobby. La stanza era spaziosa con mobili moderni e comprendeva un minibar. Il condizionatore d'aria ha funzionato perfettamente. Il letto era comodo. Il bagno era spazioso. L'acqua calda funzionava perfettamente. Anche le strutture moderne. La villa verde era vicina a tutte le attrazioni principali. Molto raccomandato per un soggiorno tranquillo, tranquillo e confortevole nella zona di Unawatuna.
