Galle: i migliori hotel a 5 stelle

Indirsani and Galvan and team were amazing. Delicious food and beverages and stunning resort. Crepes were delicious. Much recommended. Can’t wait to return. Crepes were simply amazing as was the seafood.

Ho avuto la fortuna di soggiornare in questo bellissimo albergo a Giugno, durante prime tre notti di un recente, indimenticabile viaggio in Sri Lanka. La posizione è semplicemente spettacolare: a breve distanza di tuk tuk dal centro di Galle (circa tre km), l’hotel si affaccia su un ampio tratto di mare e dal vasto e curato giardino dotato di due scenografiche piscine, dai ristoranti e dalle camere che si snodano in modo armonico nella proprietà, si godono viste meravigliose. Nell’intera struttura, progettata dal leggendario architetto Geoffrey Bawa, si percepisce la ricerca del connubio fra raffinatezza e natura che permette di vivere tante piccole suggestioni: per esempio consumare un’ottima e varia prima colazione seduti ad un tavolo in prossimità della scogliera sferzata dalle onde, osservando l’indolente camminata di un varano mentre si è a propria volta osservati da un King Fisher, sono esperienze che ti rimangono dentro. La suite in cui alloggiavamo era molto grande e vivibile, arredata con gusto e dotata di idromassaggio in bagno e di una vasca esterna affacciata sul mare; la pulizia è sempre stata impeccabile. Il personale ha dimostrato una calda professionalità, disponibilità e cortesia; un particolare encomio va allo staff del ristorante specializzato in cucina di pesce, dove si sono prodigati per soddisfare ogni richiesta speciale e offrirci due cene squisite (con una menzione speciale per il capo sala Janapriya). Davvero non riuscirei a immaginare un altro hotel, per un prossimo soggiorno a Galle…

L'hotel ha una piscina senza frontiere dell'edificio Bawa.Molti clienti sembrano provenire da Sri Lanka.Molte persone amano fare il luna di miele, ma sorprendente è che ci sono molte famiglie e famiglie. L'hotel è un po'vecchio, ma è stato fatto bene, non c'è problema nell'acqua. Il servizio è molto buono tranne il ristorante.Il ristorante sembra aver bisogno di pranzo e ci vorranno più di trenta minuti per uscire.Inoltre, è un po'freddo. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ceylon Olive! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. Kumudu, the owner, was incredibly helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. The pool was a standout feature – beautifully maintained and perfect for relaxing. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, making it a very comfortable stay. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and the staff’s friendly and accommodating nature truly elevated the experience. If you’re looking for a place with amazing amenities and exceptional service, I highly recommend Ceylon Olive. We’ll definitely be back!

2023.9.28出發來到斯裏蘭卡，入住加勒古堡的Amangalla酒店，一家打卡的第六家安縵，感覺非常棒。Amangalla建於17世紀，前身是荷蘭的軍事指揮部，後來成為斯裏蘭卡的第一家酒店，1995被安縵集團收購，酒店不大，但是麻雀雖小 五臟俱全，有游泳池、按摩池、瑜伽室等，可以體會當地刮臉服務和足底按摩。 Amangalla是我住過的最小的一家安縵，在加勒古城的正中間，到燈塔10分鐘走路路程。周圍吃喝玩樂非常方便，有一家the tuna and the crab餐廳，是科倫坡米其林一星餐廳的兄弟店，銀子夠的話可以嘗一下。 一定要選擇他的茶園巡遊項目，中間還會帶你去看海龜孵化基地和高蹺釣魚。非常有趣，雖然我高蹺釣魚的時候掉下來踩到了岩石，受了傷，但是收穫了有趣的照片和難得的人生體驗。加勒古城也是非常值得轉的，amangalla可以安排車和導遊，酒店就在古城中心，位置好，去哪都很方便。雖然我高蹺釣魚掉海裏，把腳劃破了。總起來說，還是很有趣的經歷。 斯裏蘭卡的兩家安縵和之前住的幾家不一樣，離科倫坡比較遠，不提供免費接送機服務，我們五個人是大車amangalla接機費用大約400美金。需要注意的是兩個安縵有連續訂多少天的活動一般需要從官網定才算數，從攜程代理訂不算。

An excellent location in Galle Fort. Most of the main shops, restaurants, and cafes - albeit geared for tourists - as opposed to being Sri Lankan, are so close by to this hotel. And the rest of the areas of interest in the Fort are all a slightly longer walk away - which is still not far, anyway. The layout of the hotel is well-designed. 18 rooms, all in 2 blocks. The rooms themselves are relatively spartan - with no carpets, and basic furnishings. The bed is comfortable. Essentially, the rooms are not really intended to stay-in for long periods except to sleep. My main frustration is the lack of space for storage of clothes - just a few hangars to hang clothes - so be prepared to live out of your suitcase. The pool area - albeit small - is quiet and a good escape I recommend the Spa for a really good massage. Seems that there is only one staff, but she is excellent The bar is lovely with good colonial feel. The restaurant has tables in and outside. The menu offers a range of international and a few Sri Lankan selections. This is the trend at Galle Fort. The patrons appear to be Western and market demand has resulted in relatively bland food to cater to tastes which are not accustomed to spicier Sri Lankan offerings. But Fort Bazaar’s Sri Lankan selection is probably better than the others, but still below the normal Sri Lankan flavours The standout feature is that they have a few staff at Reception who play an excellent concierge role. One in particular is Lihini - she really makes that special effort to please Ultimately, this is an average hotel which stands out due to their staff
