They offer a shuttle bus service between the hotel and the station, which is very helpful. There's also plenty of parking available for those traveling by car. Service: 9/10 The service at 大池酒店 was exceptional. The staff were friendly and always greeted us with smiles, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. Environment: 10/10 The ambiance of the hotel is tranquil, with a strong traditional Japanese style. The peaceful surroundings contributed to a relaxing experience, perfect for unwinding. View: 10/10 The views of Mount Fuji are simply spectacular. Waking up to that breathtaking sight is something I'll never forget. Room: 8/10 Our room was decent in size and comfortably accommodated our needs. It was beautifully decorated in traditional Japanese style, adding to the overall experience. Food: 9/10 Both dinner and breakfast were served with great care, and the flavors were excellent. The meals truly showcased the local cuisine. Overall, I highly recommend 富士之宿温泉旅館 大池酒店 for anyone looking for a serene getaway with stunning views, great service, and delicious food. The place was totally awesome! Totally relaxing and a very different experience from the tradition ryokan experience in Kawaguchiko. Location is rather convenient- just 1 stop on the red line bus will bring you to the resort. Dinner and breakfast was awesome too, however be sure that you have somebody that knows how to work the grill! Communication with service staff was a little difficult, but Google translator solved the issue. Not much of service you need as you are pretty much on your own!

This lovely hotel (its a bit dated, but everything is clean and very nice) is right on the lake, and very quiet. Its 10 minutes driving distance from the Kawaguchi-Ko bus stand/train station and there is a free hotel shuttle every hour. I would definitely go for rooms with a view - either of the lake, or of Fujisan. We went for rooms with lake view, and very much enjoyed it. The rooms are big and very comfortable, with a desk, an armchair and a sofa. There is also a small balcony, with amazing views of the lake. Its so peaceful, especially in the early morning or during sunset. The hotel is located in a large garden. There is an indoor and lovely outdoor onsen, where you can bath in the warm water whilst seeing bamboo and hearing birds. Breakfast is a good buffet. The restaurant for dinner is rather expensive, so i would recommend eating in one of the few restaurants in the small town.

I stayed at the Kogetsu for 2 nights in May and it was an unforgettable experience. Every detail was beautiful and thoughtful. I booked rather late and was not able to book the same room, so the first night I stayed in a Standard Western Style twin w open-air bath; and the second night in a Standard Japanese Modern w open-air bath (Triple). Both were on the 3rd (of 5) floors and both had stunning views of Mt Fuji. Both incorporated both Japanese and Western style. The first room had wood floors throughout and half-shoji screen doors so you could separate the bedroom and dining areas. It also had a small walk-in closet. The outdoor onsen was quite large (could easily fit 4 adults) and the patio was wider than in the Triple room. I posted pics of the Standard Western Style Twin and will post the pics of the Triple separately. In contrast the Triple room was larger and there was a gorgeous daybed (which becomes the 3rd bed) with windows on either side overlooking Mt Fuji. The onsen was a bit smaller (could easily fit 2 adults). The bedroom was carpeted, dining area had tatami-style mats, and hallway had wood floors. There was a wardrobe rather than walk-in closet in this room. Both rooms had a wet area for washing up before the onsen, a separate powder room, and separate toilet room. Honestly, you can’t go wrong - both rooms were gorgeous. I felt lucky to be here. One thing to note is that there is a boat launch beside the ryokan, so my open-air onsen on 3rd floor was not super private (there’s a screen to pull down if you want privacy, but it obscures the view). The 4th/5th floors would have more feeling of privacy. The kaiseki meals were beautifully displayed and delicious. The 2 nights’ menus were different but followed a similar (but not identical) format: 1) Aperitif, 2) Seasonal appetizers, 3) Soup, 4) Sashimi, 5) Main course (hot), 6) Steamed fish, 7) Grilled fish, 8) Palette cleanser, 9) simmered dish, 10) rice dish, and 11) dessert. My nakai, Fumiko-san, was lovely - friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was also included - it was half- buffet, with an elegant bento box with appetizers and tamago. It also included delicious tempura, made to order and delivered to your table. The hotel has a happy hour from 2:30-6:30 where a limited selection of tea, coffee, nonalcoholic drinks, beer and wine are free. You can enjoy them on the gorgeous terrace overlooking Mt Fuji with your feet soaking in the footpath (just not in your room). Lastly there are shuttles every morning to Kawaguchiko Station or any of the tourist sights on the way, and the hotel will send a shuttle to pick you up when you are ready to come back. The location of this ryokan could not be better - close to some great museums and on the North shore of the lake, which has the best views (and away from the touristy South shore).

This is the second time staying in Fuji Ginkei, while the first time was in 2017. The reason I chose it when I went to Kawaguchiko the second time was the perfect location, service, and food when I stayed in 2017. First, I should thank the hotel staff. As you might know, it is tough for solo travelers to book a Ryokan room. As a search around the hotel list, which I think is perfect for the stay, Fuji Ginkei is one of a few hotels which said OK. I appreciate it. The location is perfect as you can see the lake and mountain simultaneously. For Kawaguchiko, only a few hotels have this kind of view. When you arrive at the Kawaguchiko station, don't forget to call them, and they will pick you up. However, when you live, if you want to take their shuttle bus, you need to check their shuttle bus schedule. I choose the Japanese-style room which a balcony since I want to take many photos from my room. It is worth it as the view from the room is perfect. I can stay in the room and watch Mount Fuji all afternoon. It even has an individual bathroom in the room, which is kind of rare. If you stay in the hotel in Winter, don't forget to use the outdoor onsen. It will be freezing to get in and out, but it is worth it as you will see a very clear sky and many stars when using the outdoor onsen. You will never forget it. Moreover, don't forget to go lakeside, which is only a few meters away. You can take perfect photos of the lake, Mount Fuji and the stars. It is impressive. Service is as good as before, which you can imagine. When you are having breakfast and dinner, the staff will talk with you, introducing the dish and telling you much exciting and helpful information. For once, I was discussing さかさふじ with them and really learned a lot. The dish is good. As I stayed for two nights, I think the first night's dinner was better than the second. For breakfast, I don't have too many things to say. Overall, the dish tasted good but not as impressive as in 2017, maybe because I tried some Michelin during these years, which increased my standard. Overall, it is an excellent hotel, and the price is not that high compared to other hotels around Kawaguchiko. Once again, is it worthy.

Molto buon valore per soldi! Con bevande di benvenuto (succhi e vini di casa) e snacks. Dinner di fusione di buona cina miscelato con stile giapponese e occidentale, decente presentazione e buon gusto. Camera accogliente con prodotti di bevande di alta qualità. A causa del cattivo tempo, non abbiamo usato il bagno aperto, ma crediamo che dovrebbe avere la vista sulla montagna FJ. Le 5 camere private a caldo primavera sono speciali, non è richiesta alcuna prenotazione e abbiamo provato la sedia a pietra calda e ci sentiva bene! La sezione calda di primavera offre anche il ghiaccio e le bevande. Buffet come colazione mattina con vari cibi ma solo servite fino alle 9:15am. Servizio di pacchetto dell'hotel con più slot e operate in tempo.

Questo palazzo è molto pulito e pulito. Il servizio è molto buono. Anche se non vicino al lago del fiume e'difficile, in realtà non è lontano, e c'è un supermercato vicino. Siamo in viaggio guidato e siamo stati fortunati a rimanere a Regina. Era buono in ogni modo - grandi camere, eccellente check-in, doccia calda e comoda letto. Abbiamo avuto una cena giapponese tradizionale e probabilmente è stato il piu' completo (e molto delizioso) pasto che abbiamo avuto finora. Si prega di essere consapevoli che questo hotel è un breve viaggio fuori città, ma ha grandi viste sul monte Fuji.

Vivo con la mia famiglia １.La caratteristica è che il cibo è delizioso e può essere un campeggio di lusso.Questo è uno stile di barbecue, quindi naturalmente ci sto bene, ma penso che il cibo sia buono.Anche la colazione è buona. Questa volta non ho mangiato, ma ci sono molti altri vini di frutta autoprodotti, che sembrano deliziosi.La casa della casa è anche pulita.Ma il difetto è che non possiamo dire che dormono molto lentamente, perché il letto è una borsa da letto, dormono nello stesso posto del letto.Non posso negare la sensazione di insufficienza di sonno. Il personale è molto amichevole, １１ può costruire impianti di riscaldamento nel mese (si dice che il risultato della bowling sia il riscaldamento).
