Cambria Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach

Couldn't find parking or an easy access to hotel entrance, seems like the only way to park was you had to get vallet parking. Service wasn't great. Restaurant wasn't open so we had to eat at the bar (which was located right in the hotel lobby/entrance). Location was good, close to the beach. Room was clean.

Hotel was okay, a little over-priced for the quality of things. Rooms are smaller than they appear, bed was extremely uncomfortable, and we didn’t get the room I booked either. Overnight and valet were very friendly and kind.

Shower water was at most warm, definitely never hot. Disappointing. When we went to check out, the woman at the front desk said they could not process our check out and give us a copy of the invoice because she was doing an audit at 5 o’clock in the morning that was gonna take 45 minutes. When I pressed a little harder, she went to a different computer and ran the bill off just fine. Very confusing place.

Absolutely loved this hotel. We even met the owner. Food at the restaurant was amazing. Every staff member we met were so courteous and accommodating. Hotel was very beautiful and was kept very clean. Will stay here again!

This is a modern hotel on a busy ***** across from the beach. Everything is nearby. Would go back.

The property was convenient to the beach. The upper deck for views and relaxing was closed for repairs. We arrived at 1:30 and asked about early checkin. Our telephone number was taken to let us know when it was ready. We were never called but were allowed to check in, after waiting in the lobby, at 4:00. At 6:00 we walked through a full lobby of people still waiting for their rooms. At 7:00 they were still cleaning rooms on our floor. Nice hotel but definitely needs more staff.

We have stayed at Cambria before which is why we selected this one. Strike 1 was the week we were all scheduled to leave we started getting notifications that the first nights stay was being drafted which was fine but that should be listed on the web booking sites as a requirement not under reserve now pay on arrival! There were 5 rooms of us for Chris**as vacation and we all arrived at different times. The early arrivals were treated very well by the front desk clerk but the ones that arrived later is a different story with a different desk clerk. My daughter and another customer were trying to check in their rooms as it was after 4:00 pm (check in time) and she simply asked if her room was ready and the clerk rudely said you need to chill. His attitude was bad enough that the other customer asked him what exactly they needed to chill about for simply wanting to complete their check in and go to their rooms from traveling. That was strike 2! We were there for 6 days 5 nights. Strike 3 was when all rooms were charged the $150 security deposit TWICE and was told there was a glitch in the system and the $300 hold should fall off after 5 days! Unacceptable! I personally left a couple of messages for the manager who was very nice when you saw her working with housekeeping or filling in where she needed to but never gave the courtesy of a return call! This location obviously needs additional staff! Josie at the restaurant/bar is the jewel of the hotel! Pay her well!

Hotel was good, but couldn't check in until almost 6 pm. This is not what we paid for. Ate breakfast and ordered steak and eggs and restaurant had no steak sause! What?! Who eats steak with no steak sauce? Smh. The dryer on our floor wasn't working either. Waaay to nice of a hotel to have this foolishness. Ijs

Spent a week there. No shampoo or body wash upon check in. front desk immediately notified. Only replace body wash. There 5 days, housekeeping never came once.
