Da quando sono arrivato, il personale era stellare, super professionista, e dimostrava grande etica.Vorrei ringraziare in particolare un membro chiave della vostra squadra, Bruno, per aver presto identificato che avevo superpagato di £30 durante il check-in. Mi ha colpito trovare una chiamata e una nota perduta sotto la mia porta, poche ore dopo, e mi ha detto che Bruno aveva identificato l'errore e voleva restituire l'eccedenza. Un hotel situato nel centro di Oval. Vicino a tutti i servizi, a 5 chilometri dalla spiaggia. Personale molto gentile. La colazione era buona e la camera era pulita. Il rapporto prezzo/prestazioni è molto buono. Raccomando.

Posso anche iniziare la mia recensione con l'unico negativo che potevo trovare. Questa era la zona di fumo direttamente fuori dall'entrata dell'hotel. Così, non appena si apriva la porta per andare a fumare sigarette, è entrato anche. E ora le buone parti, senza dubbio, gli hotel, il più grande attributo sono il personale. La nostra settimana ha iniziato con una accoglienza molto calda da un giovane che era molto gentile e molto utile. Purtroppo, ho dimenticato il suo nome. Ma non credo che sia importante, perché è un tema ricorrente durante tutto il nostro soggiorno . Un giovane che ha bisogno di una menzione speciale che lavora dietro il bar mi ha detto che aveva solo 20 anni, che non credevo, perché è uno dei più onesti, fidati e sinceri persone che ho la fortuna di incontrare. È solo che non tutti i giovani hanno un atteggiamento, ora devo dire che tutti coloro che lavorano dietro il bar sono stati fantastici e gentili, quindi a nome della mia moglie e vorrei ringraziarvi tutti. Ma Andre Martins sei una superstar dal mio cuore, meriti un patto sul retro e una promozione. Un giorno, il mio amico, sono sicuro che sarai il manager. Assolutamente niente era troppo difficile. La gestione dovrebbe essere molto orgogliosa. La stanza era fantastica, vista sul fiume era pulita e temperata con molte camere. Abbiamo mangiato all'hotel e ogni volta che la moglie stava correndo fuori dal vino, qualcuno venne a fargli un po' di bottiglia. Le sue parole erano esattamente come una principessa, è stato bello che il personale ci ha fatto sentire molto speciale, il cibo era molto bello e noi due consigliamo. If possible, I would suggest avoiding this hotel. There were many issues with this stay. Let me attempt to break this down in a structured way: Hotel: This hotel has no Porter, no trolley cart. So if you’re traveling with a family and have bags / need baggage assistance you’re on your own. There are A LOT of mechanical issues at this property. When I went to use the urinal in the lobby the pee quite literally just poured out the bottom of the urinal and straight onto the floor as though the plumbing were not even connected. Yikes! And they admitted that they were aware when I told them they NEED to close that bathroom. The entry way automatic doors were misfiring. Randomly opening and closing. Kind of like an obstacle course. The elevator sensors didn’t work and on 3 occasions tried to eat me or my kids. At one point the elevator door closed so violently that it knocked me backwards and my 2 and 5 year old were left in the elevator by themselves. Thankfully they pressed the correct floor number. Service: As a Lifetime Titanium Elite we’ve grown to appreciate the little things that a property can do to make your stay special. That’s not really in the vocabulary for this place. For starters, we booked 2 rooms because we knew that with 2 kids and 3 adults we needed to have space. Despite reaching out to the hotel and letting them know that we’re a family traveling together they tried to put us on 2 separate floors. Cmon. Also we submitted our Suite Night Rewards which is a voucher that you earn and it entitles you to a suite upgrade if one is available. Not to be confused with just “expecting” an upgrade. Oddly (and against company policy) they redeemed our Reward but then didn’t give us a suite because they claimed that only the room that the person with the status was staying was eligible. Sorry, but that’s not even remotely true. It’s like saying that you can only redeem your points for the room you’re saying in. 🤣 And let’s talk about the little things. Water. Guests with status are entitled to 2 bottles of water per night. I’ve stayed at over 100 properties. Congratulations AC Porto on being 1 in 100 in the worst possible way. They refused to give us water and advised that we could buy it from the mini bar. We were given 1 bottle per room. So 2 total bottles of water for 5 guests. For 1 night. If you have status and you’re reading this, I apologize for making you spit out your coffee. But seriously. It’s bizarre. You have to stay 75 nights per year to earn Titanium status so there’s a lot of revenue being fed to the chain. It’s a bottle of water for fffffs sake. Oh and again, for folks with status, you’ll know that you receive a welcome gift. It’s either points or breakfast. Here at the lovely AC Porto their breakfast is €15 per person, and the Welcome Gift is €10 credit. So in essence they’re giving you 1/3 of breakfast. And that’s only for ONE room. They do not extend that amenity to the second room that we paid for. Room: S

Thank you for giving us such a fantastic experience, your hotel and the views from our room were just outstanding! We loved reading about its history and about its floral theme - thank you. We had outstanding service from all your wonderful staff, even although some of them are still learning they tried their best to be helpful. Special mention goes to Rishi Raj in the Dining room for being so very helpful and efficient, always going out of his way to give us excellent service. Also, Andre in the bar, although still learning his trade, was very friendly and efficient. Tomas and all of the receptionists were constantly helping us and were very friendly. We thank them so much for upgrading us to a beautiful junior suite as we were celebrating our anniversary - so very kind and thoughtful. The girls cleaning our room did so extremely well. We would definitely recommend a stay at this beautiful hotel, being right beside the Douro river - you couldn't get a better position from our room on the 8th floor! The view of the river and sunsets were just spectacular. All I have left to say is thank you so very much to all the wonderful staff at the Pestana Douro for helping us have a wonderful holiday ! Porto is just beautiful and definitely worth a visit 😍

Siamo in un ottimo appartamento di 2 camere a Gaia Residence, che è coniugato all'hotel Hollyday Inn. L'appartamento è completo con letti per 4, una piccola cucina, soggiorno e una piccola tavola da pranzo. Tutto è perfetto fino all'ora di un ottimo caffè mattina, abbastanza completo, ma servito nello stesso ambiente per entrambi gli hotel. Ecco i problemi di superlotazione. Una guerra!!!

Situato a circa 5 minuti di auto dalla stazione ferroviaria di Vila Da Nova Devasa e a 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione metropolitana di Camara Gaia. Non è così vicino al centro di Porto. Nessun acqua libera in camera a meno che non sia un membro di Hilton Honors Silver e sopra, e questo è solo per la prima bottiglia. I prodotti come le padelle di cotone e i kit di vanità non sono stati rimasti a disposizione a meno che non fosse richiesto. Anche i tovaglioli manuali sono stati forniti solo il primo giorno. Kina è delusa dal fatto che fosse un soggiorno per la luna di miele, ma anche l'acqua è stato addebitabile a 6 euro per bottiglia perché ero solo un membro della Blue HH. I rack di tovaglioli non erano disponibili, solo i ganci. Altrimenti, un grande servizio dal personale di terra che poteva parlare inglese, tranne per una cameriera che non poteva capire “no ham no bacon” per le nostre omelete! Una semplice colazione serviva ogni giorno. Abbiamo anche ricevuto una piccola torta per festeggiare. Grazie per il soggiorno.
