It was the most stressful experience with the booking of the Dar Naima Guest House in Fes. Upon arrival, we were refused to check-in for our booking that was Confirmed by the hotel's owner and fully Paid in advance. The given reason was that the hotel's owner decided the last minute that she doesn't charge enough for the stay and gave instructions to the front desk to refuse check-in or to pay more than double the price that she listed before. Very dishonest behavior. Lots of time waisted and very stressful. Only involvement of the Agoda booking team helped to resolve the issue.

We had a booking with this place. We arranged a taxi from airport to the hostel and that was ok. When we arrived we were in a different hostel, with different people and also not the rooms we had booked through booking. Apparently the hostel was busy (she rebooked it to someone else). We didn’t have any options to go to another place because it was midnight in the middle of the Medina in fes. It was a very bad experience for us, it was very disappointing and also we felt cheated.

Had the most horrible experience at Dar Naima. Even though our booking was confirmed - Dar Naima did not hounour our booking and forced us to cancel it on booking. They then told us to move to another near by riad. Once we went there we were told that they do not have rooms for the duration of our stay. We were then moved to a 3rd riad which also did not have a room for the entire duration of our stay. When we went back to Dar to express our concerns - the owner threatened us. Told us that we were in "her" city and if we did not suck up and stay where we are asked to - she will ensure that we get no place to stay in all of fes and that we should be "careful". Had the most horrific experience. DO NOT put yourself through such a torture.

Every second inside this Riad was amazing, Hanane (owner) is a super sweet and nice person, they cook delicious food, the terrace is stunning and the room was nice, beautiful and comfortable. Definitely a must to visit if you’re looking for a nice place in Fes :)

This dar is located right next to Tala'a Kebira, the main sloping street through the medina. Given how busy and overwhelming that street can be, this place is very peaceful and quiet by contrast. Breafast is served on the roof terrace in the morning, providing a lovely view over the medina and up the hill towards the ruined Marinid tombs, livestock being walked up and down the hillside. A very nice start to the day, and a tranquil base from which to explore.

Dar Naima has truly felt like a personal getaway home to my fiancé and I while staying in Fez. Perfectly located, you can explore the streets of the old city and easily find your way back home. The ladies of the riad were super helpful and accommodating to our needs; we even extended our stay since we liked it so much. We were able to move to a different room for another view and enjoy a delicious breakfast every morning atop the terrace where picturesque views of fez surround you. I highly recommend Dar Naima to anyone seeking a personalized and authentic experience in fez.

I have only good things to say about the Riad. The terrace gives a 360 view of the Medina and a beaultiful view of the city. The room we stayed was confortable and clean, the food Hanane prepare is delicious and her and her team are very professional hosts! Sure i will stay there again next time im in Fès.
