Soneva Fushi is the best resort on this planet, period. I felt the same way after our first visit last year and our second trip has only solidified this feeling. We’ve already booked for 2025. As mentioned, our last stay was so amazing we had to come back, this time with our 6-month old daughter who we travelled all the way from Canada re-experience this magic island. We stayed for 8 nights in December and arrived from a 6-night remarkable stay at Soneva Jani that we thought would be hard to top. I’ve decided to focus my review on the unique and truly memorable aspects to our stay. Our biggest concern going forward is how the stay we just had could ever be topped in the future. Warning, long review incoming. Here were the most amazing aspects of our stay: 1/ Villa 10 “The post card view room” - We were upgraded to a 2-bedroom Crusoe Suite with a pool. This room was absolutely amazing and had a ‘post card’ style view looking out to the water, which was framed by palm trees and a hamock. After having an incredible stay at Soneva Jani staying over the water, our beach style villa at Soneva Fushi was such a nice compliment. Some things that really stood out: totally secluded jungle vibe, expansive private beach area, private gym and steam room, the outdoor washroom was insane, and the double story doors that looked like they’ve been designed to perfectly match the trees that surround the villa. Specifically with our daughter, the extra space of the 2-bedroom was amazing and the large couches inside and outside gave us ample room to have her roll around. This villa will be in our memory until we get the chance to come back!!! 2/ Michelin Star Dinner Journey at Out of the Blue… WOW!! We had the opportunity to try an experimental dinning experience and visit 3 Michelin star chefs at different locations within Out of the Blue. This was the best dinning experience best of our lives! We got to experience: So Hands by Chef Akira for 5 Omakase courses, Once Upon a Table with Chef Jacob Holsmtrom for 3-courses and finished of with So Bespoke with Chef Hiroshi for an additional 4-course at the breathtaking tapianki table. Each meal was unique and remarkable. This is something that I would highly recommend you ask to do if you get the chance, you will not be disappointed! 3/ The Private Sandbank Breakfast - Soneva will set you up with any breakfast your heart desires and leaves you to enjoy the sunrise and breakfast in private. The sandbank is a magical location and to have gotten the chance to see the sunrise and have breakfast alone was incredibly romantic, peaceful, and beautiful. 4/ The Dolphins Sunset cruise - After an unsuccessful Dolphin cruise at Soneva Jani due to weather, we had an amazing experience on perfectly calm waters - it was another simply magical experience where we saw dozens of dolphins swim below the boat. We also got to enjoy sparking wine for a 10/10 sunset, which added to the experience. I will add both times we’ve been to Sone

Abbiamo soggiornato 6 notti in questo fantastico resort ed e' stata un'esperienza magnifica! Siamo stato pienamente soddisfatti di ogni suo aspetto e lo consigliamo vivamente anche in confronto rispetto alle nostre precedenti esperienze alle Maldive. Il resort e' molto nuovo e tutti gli spazi sono arredati in modo molto elegante e moderno con camere molto spaziose e dotate di ogni comfort. L'isola e' piccola e dalla spiaggia l'ingresso in acqua in molti punti e' un po' roccioso, ma questo non preclude la possibilita' di potersi godere la spiaggia ed il mare. La quantita' di pesci/sealife e coralli che abbiamo vista in quest'isola, anche semplicemente facendo il bagno o snorkelling attorno all'isola, e' veramente degna di nota, ogni volta e' stato uno spettacolo inaspettato! L'attenzione e il servizio dello staff hanno fatto la differenza rendendo la nostra vacanza un'esperienza unica! A partire dall'accoglienza in aereoporto di Mahu, molto disponibile e gentile che ci ha accompagnato durante i trasferimenti Aeroporto-resort, fino all'attenzione e la cordialita' di tutto lo staff sull'isola. In particolare vorremmo ringraziare tutto il team food&beverage che ci ha fatto sentire sempre a casa, mantenendo un livello di professionalita' altissimo! Un grazie particolare a Mr. Deepak, il responsabile, Youssef, Amol e tutti gli altri ragazzi/e! Lo Chef Jorge e' stato sempre presente, assicurandosi ad ogni pasto che fossimo soddisfatti ed offrendo la possibilita' di preparare piatti su nostra richiesta anche non presenti nel menu'. L'offerta culinaria di per se' e' molto vasta e di qualita', la colazione degna di nota ed abbiamo apprezzato in generale l'offerta di tutti i ristoranti dell'isola. Hawker lo consigliamo vivamente per pranzo. L'esperienza culinaria e' stata impeccabile. La ciliegina sulla torta di questa vacanza per noi sono state le attivita' svolte al diving center, un grazie speciale a Rhys e Kay, la nostra diving instructor, con cui abbiamo fatto 4 immersioni da sogno! Con Kay e il capitano abbiamo passato momenti molto piacevoli e divertenti in barca tra un'immersione e l'altra e in fondo al mare. Un grazie anche ad Hanim, che ha soddisfatto ogni nostra richiesta durante il soggiorno, al General Manager Mr. Vijay e a Mr. Laurent, che sono stati sempre presenti per assicurarsi che tutto fosse perfetto durante il nostro soggiorno! Siamo certi che ci sara' l'occasione di tornare perche' ci siamo trovati veramente bene!

Se cercate il lusso da social oppure la movida sfrenata o le forte emozioni da adventure questo resort non fa per voi. Struttura datata ma ancora efficiente con casette con accesso sulla spiaggia spaziose e perfettamente integrate con la fitta vegetazione dell’isola che è sufficientemente grande da consentire delle belle passeggiate. Mare spettacolare e vario attorno l’intero periplo dell’isola con una barriera corallina ampia e con fondale tutto da ammirare facendo snorkeling. Spiaggia abbastanza ampia e tipicamente bianchissima anche se pomeriggio con alta marea si riduce notevolmente. Escursioni care e sconsigliate tranne la mezza giornata in un isola deserta vicina con una lingua di sabbia bianchissima indimenticabile esperienza a soli 85$. Uscita in barca al tramonto per fishing ugualmente da consigliare. Un ringraziamento a Hassan che ci ha supportato in entrambe le uscite. Ristorazione varia e di buona qualità con possibilità anche di snack in piscina a tutte le ore. Ristorante alla carta da provare almeno una sera. Personale in generale molto gentile e attento dall’accoglienza e dalla comunicazione giornaliera con Thoo ai camerieri di sala e house keeper con pulizia e ripristino biancheria due volte al giorno. Nel complesso tanto relax bellissimo mare e coccole…

Il Kiha Beach è una struttura moderna con sole 20 stanze ben arredate e vista mare, le stesse si presentano molto pulite e confortevoli con dimensioni generose, è presente il bollitore, la Wi-Fi in camera, nelle aree comuni e in spiaggia. La struttura è veramente molto carina, strepitoso il rapporto qualità prezzo, noi abbiamo scelto la pensione completa, il servizio è a buffet, non ci sono molti piatti, ma quelli presenti cucinati veramente molto bene. Sempre presente sia pollo che pesce, Il proprietario Ali e il personale sono di una gentilezza disarmante, le escursioni veramente organizzate bene e con tutte le attenzioni. Sicuramente consigliatissimo. Infine la barriera corallina presente davanti all’albergo è molto varia, abbiamo visto le tartarughe e i delfini. La struttura si trova su un’isola di medie dimensioni ed è presente un piccolo aereoporto molto comodo per il collegamento a Malè
