Overall all it was an enjoyable stay at this Travelodge. The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The room was clean, the shower excellent, the bed extremely comfortable and the heater/air conditioner was quiet and easy to operate. The breakfast box was basic but good value. The only two negatives are: (1) decoration of the public areas and corridors is desperately needed. Chipped, grubby and flaking paintwork does not give a good image. (2) Illuminated signage outside would be extremely helpful especially on a dark rainy night .

Fuori città. Abbastanza remoto. Molto comodo per l'aeroporto, a poche centinaia di metri. Camere piccole ma confortevoli e servizio cordiale. Parcheggio gratuito. Un buon punto di ristoro se stai guidando da Londra alla Cornovaglia meridionale. Pulito, piuttosto semplice ma con un eccellente rapporto qualità-prezzo. Siamo stati alcune volte.

We have driven past this striking red brick building many times over the years and so we were both curious (and somewhat sceptical) to see how this ex- eye infirmary on the Exeter ring road would work as a 4* hotel. The hotel was an eye opener - no pun intended. The high ceilings, hospital proportion corridors and green paintwork all evoke the building's history and yet it is now a handy hotel within 10 minutes walk of the city centre. We enjoyed staying here. We booked 4 nights in a deluxe room with breakfast. The breakfasts were our favourite part of the stay. They are really good and are served in a modern conservatory overlooking an attractive circular lawn and flowerbeds. Breakfast staff were friendly and professional. It was a very nice way to start the day. The deluxe bedrooms are a bit on the small side. We ended up experiencing two! We had a few electrical problems plus a broken safe in our original room but the receptionist found a replacement room in the same category and we moved the second day. Both bedrooms were spotlessly clean. The toiletries supplied are by L'Occitane, and the tea and coffee are by Taylors of Harrogate which is a treat. All in all the only negatives are the slightly eccentric bedroom and bathroom layouts but overall the rooms are smart and the beds are comfortable. We didn't use the spa and pool but they looked good. You need to book spa treatments in advance as they are very popular. Another time.

Situato vicino alla stazione ferroviaria centrale e al centro città. C'è un bel giardino proprio di fronte all'hotel. La stanza era spaziosa e pulita. Personale utile e gentile alla reception.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, staff provided good service from arrival to departure. I had left my property behind on the desk after realising I had forgotten about it. Staff was able to keep it safely for me when I retrieve it.

Check-in rapido, camera senza spot, personale amabile e grande valore con colazione incluso. Cliente regolare dell'hotel e sempre buona esperienza. Da ultimo rimanere colazione più organizzata. Non posso farlo per soldi.
