1. Ottima posizione geografica: Segui Google Maps per uscire dalla Stazione Ferroviaria di Wivalli e raggiungere l'hotel a circa 50 metri di distanza 2. L'hotel è separato da Princes Street da una stazione ferroviaria Dalla finestra si possono vedere gli edifici di Princes Street e la Memorial Tower su Carlton Hill. 3. L'hotel è raggiungibile a piedi da tutti i punti panoramici: a circa 100 metri si trova Waverly Bridge, Royal Mile, Scott Memorial Tower, Princes Street, ed in 15 minuti si può raggiungere il Castello di Edimburgo, Holyrood's Palace, Arthur's Seat, ecc. Non ci sono così tante varietà per la colazione come in stile cinese, ma è comunque ricca e abbastanza da saziarti🥳 Questa volta ho prenotato una camera tripla superior Costa 1000+ per 2 persone + colazione + cancellazione. I visited the W for the first time on Friday evening. From the moment we stepped through the door the experience was exquisite. We didn’t have a reservation however sitting at the bar in the upstairs lounge was wonderful. We met the lovely Sumith who educated us on everything wine related. Edson our bartender made some delicious cocktails. The experience was perfection from start to finish, I cannot wait to return!! To finish off our wonderful evening we were given access to the 12th floor, just WOW. I’ve not seen views like these in Edinburgh!!

The location is good and the room is reasonably sized but the design of the room is not to my liking. The toilet is completely separated from the rest of the washroom which has happened before but the toilet room does not have a hand basin to wash your hands and the two areas are inconveniently located so it could be a problem stumbling at night. The room was clean when we checked in but our room was cleaned the next day except for the washroom for some reason. Reported to front desk but no explanation really. Saw a fan in the closet so the hotel may not have A/C whinch happens in hotels in Europe sometimes. Check that if you are coming in the summer.

a pochi passi dal castello e dai negozi del Royal Mile di Edimburgo. La piccola area del parcheggio deve essere prenotata in anticipo. Ingresso al parcheggio impossibile da individuare se non indicato dal personale della reception. Appartamento molto bello spazioso completamente attrezzato con regolazione della temperatura dell'aria in ogni stanza. Articoli da toeletta asciugacapelli ferro da stiro con asse in dotazione. nessuna esitazione a prenotare nuovamente soprattutto per soggiorni più lunghi

Stayed here recently during our trip to Edinburgh. The hotel has a great location with walking distance to most of the places. However, it was disappointing that our room basically had no wifi connection and also very weak signal when we had to turn our personal data on. The bathroom was not fully cleaned, with rubbish in the bin left by previous guests. The receptionists couldn’t careless about your struggles with making yourself comfortable at their hotel. The room was extremely tiny, and I wouldn’t say “you got what you paid for” because the weekend room rate here was over three times (£170) as their week day rate (£50). It’s just crazy how much we paid vs. how minimum of the service we received here…

Lo scenario fuori dalla finestra è molto bello e affascinante. Puoi vedere il tramonto da un'ottima posizione. La mia stanza ha tre finestre e le finestre non sono molto insonorizzate, quindi potrebbe essere un po' rumorosa, ma non ci sono macchine. notte, sono relativamente tranquille, quindi è abbastanza grande al momento del check-in. La cosa principale è che la stanza è molto grande e le cose e le strutture all'interno sono molto complete. È molto comodo soggiornare e il letto è molto comodo Ci tornerò la prossima volta. Ed è molto vicino ai trasporti.

Ho avuto un bel tempo all'hotel ”The Scholar” e non potevo essere più soddisfatto dell'esperienza generale. In primo luogo, il servizio era eccezionale. Il personale era incredibilmente benvenuto e sempre pronto a assistere, assicurandosi un soggiorno confortevole e piacevole. Le strutture dell'hotel sono state impressionanti. Le camere sono spaziose, decorate in modo elegante e offrono un comfort di top-notch. Il bagno pulito e ben attrezzato, insieme alle moderne strutture, è stato aggiunto all'attrazione generale. Inoltre, le strutture ricreative come la palestra e la piscina hanno arricchito l'intera permanenza, rendendola più soddisfacente e piacevole. Uno dei punti di vista è stato l'esperienza di mangiare. Il colazione ha offerto una varietà di opzioni di alta qualità. Mi sono particolarmente gradito i piatti di firma, che erano deliziosi e memorabili. Il personale del ristorante ha mostrato professionalità e amicizia, migliorando l'esperienza di mangiare. In conclusione, consiglio molto l'hotel ”The Scholar”. È una scelta memorabile, sia per l'attività che per il tempo libero. Guardando in attesa di tornare e rilassare l'alloggio caldo e di alta qualità di nuovo.

The overall experience was alright but not highly satisfied. I chose the hotel because we hope to stay in the Mansion with long history and heritage that hopefully make our family journey more enjoyable. Before we go, I searched for the comment on websites and found some travellers give bad comments e.g. small bathroom with mold, dusty table and floor mat, etc. Thanks for providing these honest comment so I reduce my own expectation a little bit. When we enter the hotel room, warm welcome received from hotel staff. We arrived at 15pm and thought we can have some teatime in the hotel but sadly we were told teatime must be book 24hrs in advance. They can serve us scones and tea instead. Then we went to our the double bed room 14sq.m one and it does look small, especially the toilet is small like a hostel or affordable stay instead of a hotel room charging gbp170 a night which we have expected it should be more than that. The sink was so small, have to wash hands really carefully otherwise water will be spitted everywhere. The tea corner, the alarm, the window were dusty, The cup and spoon were not clean properly. Despite all these, The bed was fine and comfy. The hotel building itself is historical and beautiful, with multiple dining rooms serving lunch, tea, dinner. Bar service serving drinks, large library, board games available for kids, very spacious greenfield and beautiful rose garden. Morning breakfast 8-10am is a self-service one and the food were hot and fresh. In overall, the beautiful nature surrounded and the historical building itself make the whole experience happy, but the hotel service and hygiene level do recommend for improvement.

Il mio compagno e io siamo arrivati tardi dopo un volo all'aeroporto di Edimburgo e sono stati salutati da un personale molto amichevole durante la notte di trasloco. L'intero hotel sembrava frescamente decorato con nuovi accessori e accessori, tutti sembravano di alta qualità. La nostra camera (camera 4) era meravigliosomente designata, il letto era molto comodo e la doccia era fantastica. Il colazione era fresca cucinato e servito molto rapidamente. Per ciò che abbiamo pagato questo hotel vale un 10/10 ogni giorno!!
