This hotel is located mere moments from the seafront which is perfect for that peaceful getaway and walks along the seafront.
I booked this hotel very last minute and at a low cost thanks to it being last minute and being a high member on a booking site - this was remarked the moment I arrived which I don’t think was polite etiquette other than that, the welcome was quite nice
There is a very old lift here if you require it - I asked kindly for a room with a view if possible and they provided a room at the front of the top floor with views over the garden which was kind of them
The room was small but nice enough, a kettle was provided but no tea/coffee which were available at reception! My issue with the place is the cleanliness, I walked into the room to an extremely long hair laying on the bed followed by numerous places in the bathroom and even under one of the coffee cups which is a further reason for the drop in rating

最特別就係Front Desk. 嗰位女仕， 如果要提早Check in 嘅話要求我吔俾十英磅佢哋!!!!我同屋企人入住間房細就不在話下。房間內擺設安排對住客做成許多不方便。
水壓不足、沖涼浴簾太短、抽氣通氣不良，房間感覺不清潔。

From the moment we arrived our trip went downhill, check in from 3pm, no! No one there to open up so the hotel was still locked up shut.. we telephoned the numbers available and kept getting voicemail and after a while my husband managed to get through to a very rude man who said " eugh! I'm coming" he was at the desk locked inside the whole time. Once we were inside instantly greeted with a stairwell strewn in dirty linen and previous guests bags of rubbish, shown to our room once the door was opened we were met with a powerful stench of damp and mould, instantly refused to sleep there - offered a room on 4th floor but that was not visable with my disability needs. We stated to the guy behind the desk we will not be staying and told we would not be charged as payment hadn't even been taken yet anyway. We then had to make the 3hr journey home that same day!!! This is unacceptable, a health hazard and should not advertised for stays. Its disgusting.

wonderful hotel and staff is very nice very comfy bed.near from beach and front of tennis ground good bar and it's like coming home. It has a warm cosy feel with old world charm and modern subtle tones throughout. The lounge areas are plentiful and comfortable. The rooms are fairly modern and have everything you need to make a pleasant stay. All staff are super helpful amd friendly

I was there for 2 days over the weekend, first look it's a nice hotel, the staff is extremely friendly, polite and treated us very well. The room is just wow, great interior and spacious and the room is amazing we will be happy to book this hotel again next time when we come to Eastbourne.

This hotel is not what they advertise it as. It’s not a bed and breakfast it’s a bed and no breakfast. They advertised: complimentary toiletries, free breakfast, free parking, free bottled water and hairdryer in room, and evening entertainment. There were no toiletries, no breakfast, no water, no hairdryer , no entertainment and we had to pay parking. Pillows were flat and no extra ones in room. Bed uncomfortable as could feel springs. Bed was a base on the floor and a grubby one at that. Bathroom bin was the rustiest thing I’ve seen. We paid £115 for one night. Got up at 4.15 as uncomfortable and left.
