Arrivato alle 3:00, ha detto di tornare alle 5 perché la stanza non è pronta. La ricezione ci ha detto che l'hotel è condiviso con gli studenti di cambio. Ha detto che l'ascensore è stato appena riparato e potrebbe rompere di nuovo, quindi abbiamo le scale. La stanza è OK, la finestra non si chiude, la TV non funziona, il bagno/duoie ha una porta di vetro che non si chiude correttamente, il dispositivo di risparmio d'acqua sul tappo e la doccia per risparmiare acqua, ma significa molto bassa pressione idrica. Andiamo a dormire. Poi la ricezione si accinge alla porta e cerca di entrare immediatamente. Dicono di dover controllare il nome della prenotazione. Rispondo attraverso la porta, chiudendola come hanno aperto (nessuna catena sulle porte). Torniamo a dormire. Poi la ricezione tocca di nuovo 20 minuti dopo e dicono che devono rimuovere la barra di sicurezza al di sopra della nostra porta. Non so perché ci hanno lasciato entrare senza ordinare questo prima. Dicono che se non lo riparano, potremmo essere bloccati nella stanza. Dobbiamo vestirci e lasciarli fare il lavoro mentre noi ci siamo seduti e guardare. Torniamo a dormire. Allarme antincendio va. Nessuno viene a evacuare l'edificio o a controllare noi. Abbiamo solo lasciato per cena. Abbiamo ricevuto una scusa per l'allarme antincendio più tardi il giorno. Circa zero cibo lasciato al colazione circa le 9:00. Posso solo presumere che fosse andato tutti agli studenti. Uno dei peggiori hotel rimanga mai. Evitare.

We’ve just got home from a very enjoyable, excellent value, two night stay at the New Wilmington. It doesn’t pretend to be a rival to the Savoy, but nonetheless deserves its Five Star Review here. Our (refurbished??) room, and public areas were very comfortable and carefully clean, neat and tidy. The management and staff were always attentive and friendly. If the biggest fault was that the shower perhaps lacked some power, then you know that the rest of it was pretty damn good. The Full English Breakfast was lovely, and got the days off to flying starts. Thank you.

Dopo un giorno di giornata di gioia, il ricevitore si è sentito meno che benvenuto, e ha parlato con qualcuno e ha continuato la sua conversazione senza riconoscere o commentare. Chiesto il mio ID, a cui ho risposto, non sapevo che dovevo fornire uno, soprattutto come pagato direttamente all'agente di viaggio e non è necessario. Mi ha detto no che non ti fermerò, annullerò la prenotazione. Ho detto che sarebbe bello conoscere in anticipo e dovrebbe essere nella conferma e-mail. Ha fatto caldo. Finalmente ho le mie chiavi. Non ho ascensore e al piano superiore. Non ho offerto assistenza. Camera adeguata e confortevole per il prezzo pagato. Il ricevente è venuto e si è scusato, che è stato apprezzato. In tutto un soggiorno confortevole ma improbabile di ritorno

We stayed for 3 nights as a family with children under the age of 6 and had the best time. The hotel service is exceptional, every need was met. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the valet who helped us park the car and take our bags. They reserved our space for us with a board for the whole stay. The children received a kids backpack with hat, yo-yo and colouring in. We went straight down to the health club to the indoor pool. When we came out the reception said our room was now ready and collected the keys for us. Our room was a junior suite, it spotless and sizeable with drinks provided on ice and slippers for everyone. In the evening the children could order complimentary milk and cookies which they loved. The outdoor pool was heated and lovely when the sun was out, this was end of may/June. There also was a waiter serving drinks outside. The breakfast was amazing, great selection and the kids loved have every meal served with a cloche and countdown reveal. The added extras on the service make this a wonderful hotel. The positives far outweigh the negatives, I guess it could do with some new carpets and some new upholstery but the charm of the old building supersedes this and although old it was very clean. The bed mattress was ok, quite soft. The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable but ok for young children. We will be back again!! Thank you

Fantastic hotel very clean nice friendly staff beautiful view from our room . Good selection for breakfast and a good full English. Nice and peaceful place good surroundings ie pier right opposite hotel good local restaurants shops etc all round great experience

Me and my daughter stayed at this hotel for a weekend get away...The hotel is on seafront and pleasant....but what made it was 100% the staff...so friendly so helpful...nothing is a problem...bearing in mind...its a hotel not a bnb...but yet...they provide a complementary breakfast bag...the night receptionist...was such a lovely friendly guy....but so was all staff. We shall definitely return....
