This hotel is very self effacing. It says it is a 4 star but in fact it is better than that! Upon arrival we were welcomed and were lucky enough to be given an upgrade to a one bedroom suite. The room was absolutely spotless and the the servicing of the room was faultless! The bar is pleasant and service second to none! The restaurant was special. The food was at a very high standard as was the service! We loved this hotel and will stay there whenever we are in Dunedin

La camera era bella e spaziosa, camera da letto separata e salone con un piccolo frigo/studio. La posizione è a pochi minuti a piedi dall'Ottagon, un po' di salita camminando, ma gentile, anche se ho gonfiato e gonfiato un po' 🤣. L'ascensore non è il più veloce, doveva aspettare solo una volta durante il nostro 4 notti soggiorno. Chiese un check-out tardivo perché il mio volo verso l’auckland non era fino al pomeriggio tardi, che era ospitato con un sorriso. Il desk front era amichevole e utile. Sarei felice di rimanere qui di nuovo.

Stayed two nights at this hotel which is located right in the CBD with an easy walk to the Dunedin Railway Station and Octagon where many cafes and restaurants are located. The hotel is situated down an alleyway but instructions received in an email from the hotel prior to arrival explained in detail how to get to the hotel. Our room was a good size with a king-sized bed along with a single bed. It was clean and serviced promptly each morning. The staff are friendly and reception suggested we have breakfast at The Good Oil just across the road. Would definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Mia figlia e io abbiamo soggiornato recentemente in questo motel a maggio, perché mia figlia ha una macchina per l'apnea del sonno, abbiamo bisogno di due camere da letto. Potresti usare la lavatrice e il secchiere per quattro dollari, ma non ci siamo disturbati. Ho letto da qualche parte che due delle unità hanno lavatrice in loro. La cucina era stata recentemente riparata, microonde, piatti caldi, zona da pranzo e sedie. Situazione conveniente per soggiornare a Dunedin, vicino a tutto, caldo e confortevole, parcheggio sul posto. Barry e Donna sono andati fuori per rendere la nostra permanenza molto piacevole, per la quale siamo grati e riconoscere la loro amicizia e consiglio.

Inizialmente ero preoccupato per alcune scarse recensioni di questo hotel ricevuto recentemente, ma è stato piacevolmente sorpreso dal risultato. Forse ero fortunato e rimasi al momento giusto, ma se l'hotel può mantenere standard coerenti in tutti gli ospiti, sono sicuro che si muoveranno molto più in alto nelle classi dei viaggiatori. Durante il mio soggiorno, ho avuto il privilegio di rimanere in metà della camera della Regina. Non è certo lo standard che era quando la sua maestà si è rimasta qui nel 1954, ma era innegabilemente comoda. Il bagno mostrava segni di indossamento e lacrime, ma era pulito. I letti sono stati anche fatti ogni giorno e la mattress era estremamente comoda. Deve essere fatto un po' di lavoro per provare il suono della stanza, perché il traffico può essere sentito dalla stanza. È questo che sono stati forniti i piatti d'orecchio! Non avrei mai più nessuno che rimanga qui. Grazie per il buon soggiorno!!!

Pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a small sterile room, but was impressed with the size. Good size table to work from, 2 comfy chairs and good sized bathroom. Good facitlities and good breakfast at the onsite restaurant. No Aircon, but here was a fan to cool the room down. Only downside was that the light in the bathroom was falling off the ceiling but that will be easily fixed. TV doesn't tilt so you have to be sitting on the bed to watch it, which was a pain. All else was good. Good onsite parking.
