Hotel a Dunedin, Nuova Zelanda

This hotel is very self effacing. It says it is a 4 star but in fact it is better than that! Upon arrival we were welcomed and were lucky enough to be given an upgrade to a one bedroom suite. The room was absolutely spotless and the the servicing of the room was faultless! The bar is pleasant and service second to none! The restaurant was special. The food was at a very high standard as was the service! We loved this hotel and will stay there whenever we are in Dunedin

Pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a small sterile room, but was impressed with the size. Good size table to work from, 2 comfy chairs and good sized bathroom. Good facitlities and good breakfast at the onsite restaurant. No Aircon, but here was a fan to cool the room down. Only downside was that the light in the bathroom was falling off the ceiling but that will be easily fixed. TV doesn't tilt so you have to be sitting on the bed to watch it, which was a pain. All else was good. Good onsite parking.

E'in una buona posizione, così facile da camminare intorno alla città. Parcheggio è buono. Il posto era molto pulito. Purtroppo il letto era una regina e aveva visto giorni migliori. Molto incomodo se siamo onesti. Avremmo prenotato un letto extra grande, che ci aspettava di essere una grandezza re o due single uniti insieme. Forse avremmo dovuto chiedere un aggiornamento in vista di fronte. La stanza era buona, il duvet era bello e caldo, e la temperatura della stanza era buona. Era un po' rumoroso per la strada esterna e alcuni sono rumore, ma non è la colpa delle proprietà. La pressione dell'acqua nel bagno era fantastica, ma la doccia era piuttosto lama. In generale era appena sopra la media. Probabilmente siamo solo delusi perché abbiamo pagato soldi simili in un altro posto e questo non è stato quasi così buono.

Economy room was perfect for a night when visiting for graduation. Peter was great host, as was Jacqueline 2nd day. Clean and comfortable room, great shower. Nice and quiet on 2nd floor. Cooked breakfast in large stunning dining room was fantastic. Chef made me an omelette since I don't eat meat. Walking distance to most areas. Free parking across busy road

We had the 2 bedroom unit for 4 nights. The bedrooms have no windows , just a small glassed area looking into the lounge. The heating was an old electric heater that smelled awful so we didn’t use it. The only window in the place (apart from the bathroom one) is by the kitchen . It doesn’t lock so just rattles in the wind all night . we had to buy cutlery as there were no forks and only one spoon. The bathroom is a tiny area , totally wet floor so when you had a shower the whole place got wet. When you used the toilet the floor was always a puddle. The walls were so thin that we could hear the neighbour speaking and snoring all night. Internet went fine but the TV reception was shocking , the sound cut out every third word so we were left playing a game each evening trying to fill in the blanks. Very noisy lads moved in next door on our final night and kept us awake until 4am, Great!! When we booked we read the good reviews and saw the lovely pictures. Sounded quirky but great - not our experience at all. This place is tired , noisy and cold. On the plus side..... Management were friendly and let us arrive early which was very nice , linen was clean, handy location, lovely second hand shop next door and a great cafe 2 doors away. Very close to a bus stop, Dunedin buses are awesome. if you are a student or used to living in a dorm, this might suit you.
