Hotel a Doha

"Overall the hotel is nice. The receptionist, the bell boy are very welcoming. Unfortunately, the area nearby is dusty due to ongoing construction nearby. The hotel is walkable distance to mshereib metro station. However, due to the construction along the road and the weather is still hot mid-day in September, walking is challenging."

"L'hotel si trova molto vicino al Museo Nazionale. Per l'aeroporto ci vogliono circa 15 minuti in taxi. La nostra camera era anche molto silenziosa; anche se si trovava proprio di fronte a una moschea, di notte si sentiva il richiamo del muezzin ma non ha minimamente disturbato il nostro sonno profondo. Nei dintorni ci sono piccoli negozi, ma l'offerta di prodotti non è molto varia. La camera era molto pulita, l'unico inconveniente è che bisogna portarsi da casa ciabatte, dentifricio e spazzolino."

"Vola al Cairo e fai un trasferimento per la maggior parte della giornata per visitare il museo. L'hotel è raggiungibile a piedi dal museo. Puoi usare il software per chiamare un taxi, che è più economico del taxi dell'hotel. La stanza non è grande e i servizi sono nella media. È solo un trasferimento. C'è un bar al primo piano per riposare. Il servizio alla reception è molto buono."

"Были с супругой в конце апреля-начале мая в этом отеле. Классное местоположение, собственный пляж, просторный номер-апартаменты с прекрасным видом на город или на море. В целом все отлично! Важно для тех, кто поедет в отель: в отеле нет ресторанов и кафе (соответственно, невозможно, купить завтраки за дополнительную плату), но наличие кухни с духовкой, плиты, микроволновки и всех необходимых деталей обычной жизни человека (стиралки, посудомойки) в номере + огромное количество кафешек и супермаркетов поблизости не создает проблем с питанием. Также при заселении вносится депозит на все время проживания в 1000 QAR, возвращаемый после выселения, поэтому нужно быть готовым к таким тратам с самого начала:) В остальном мои лучшие рекомендации к проживанию!!!"

"Questo Fraser Suites è un po' vecchio e richiede una riparazione. Il tubo di bagno era sporco, non c'era una socket vicino ai letti. Il loro aircondition era troppo freddo e non riusciva a regolare la temperatura al di sopra 23C anche con l'aiuto della custodia. L’acqua di doccia era troppo fredda per la prima notte e ci voleva un giorno per il loro tecnico per ripararla, dicendo che la piscina, la palestra e le altre strutture erano buone. Location-wise, it’s not the most convenient location but there is a metro bus next to it."

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Chedi Katara in Doha, Qatar, and I can wholeheartedly say that this resort is a gem of refined luxury and warm hospitality. The relaxed atmosphere instantly put me at ease, and every aspect of my visit—from the immaculate surroundings to the attentive service—exceeded my expectations. Our celebration was memorable. we had initially booked a beach access room and a double room, but thanks to the thoughtful gestures of the staff, we were upgraded to a stunning villa. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Amel and Abdusalem at reception for their exceptional service and for making our special occasion even more remarkable. Additionally, I must commend Azmal for the fantastic house tour, which showcased the exquisite design and thoughtful details of the property. A warm thank you is also due to Dennis and King, who greeted us with their ever-present smiles and friendly demeanour at the door. I also appreciate the efforts of the two staff members on the club cars, whose names I unfortunately cannot recall, and to Richard for his attentive assistance throughout our stay and wonderful conversation and hospitality + tour around Katara village. The culinary experience was equally impressive. I had the opportunity to enjoy an Iftar during Ramadan that featured a seemingly endless array of delicious dishes, and the breakfast spread was equally sumptuous with plenty of choices to suit every palate. The beach house exuded great vibes and added to the overall charm of the resort. In summary, I cannot express enough gratitude to the entire team at The Chedi Katara. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a memorable stay marked by exceptional service, exquisite cuisine, and a truly relaxing ambience."

"We have stayed at this hotel almost every year either as Doha being our destination or a break point for onwards travel or return and all our experiences have been the best to say the least. However, as some say it takes one bad experience and all good ones get suppressed very quick. This stay, our first impression at the checkin left a bad taste to the experience. The hotel policy is that checkin is at 3pm and we know that from previous experience and booking details, however previously the staff were very polite in saying the room was wasn’t ready or they can check us in but a little later and on some occasions we were given a room early, however this time we were bluntly told checkin is at 3pm and to come back then. Baggage can be held. The checkin staff was either overwhelmed with work or angry about something but he did not show professionalism. He was getting upset with another staff member and was bluntly rude. Dashed off in the back telling another staff to stay in the front. We left our baggage and came back at 1.30pm with another staff at checkin and was allocated a room straight away and infect got an upgrade. I made the comment that I wish she was there earlier with him standing next to her. His reaction was, ‘sorry to keep you waiting’. I don’t think that was genuinely said as he had no sincerity in it and straight away start d chatting to some ladies that were on the counter. Room was good but we got a joining room and I don’t like those rooms as you can almost hear everything from the other room as the door is the only barrier. As the stay was for 2 nights, I wasn’t going to create any fuse. The amenities in the room like soap, shower gel etc is still in small pack, so if you and your partner have a shower once, you’ll have to call to get another set or buy some yourselves. I would have expected better. Bed and pillows comfortable. A/C was quiet but it seemed to go into power saving mode in the middle of the night as you would wake up hot and sweaty but after a couple of minutes it would cool up again. Breakfast was booked as part of the booking and as usual, it was very well catered. Lots of variety and good quality. Staff were excellent and did everything to impress. Overall, location is excellent and rooms are nice but starting to show it’s age. Would I return, maybe. There was a time I could say definitely and would recommend the hotel eyes closed but this experience has led to think that I should try other hotels in the vicinity as I feel the quality would or could be better. Other staff such as bell boys and coffee staff at checkin were excellent and very helpful. I wish I had a better checkin experience."

"Questo è un hotel squisito con un'architettura e un design davvero belli. La posizione è perfetta, il personale è meraviglioso, la camera è spaziosa, il letto è comodissimo e l'atmosfera è molto rilassante. Il ragazzo che si occupa dell'area fitness è molto gentile. C'è una jacuzzi e un bagno turco (non la sauna) e offrono servizi davvero piacevoli come l'acqua aromatizzata alla frutta e un'ora di cioccolato alla reception. Tutto funziona alla grande ed è molto curato. Hanno anche adottato alcune iniziative per la sostenibilità, il che è fantastico. L'ho adorato!"
