We stayed 22 years ago when we bought our apartment. But due to an accident my wife had she was unable to use the stairs there. We had no second thoughts but to book the HOTEL ARVOR. The service the rooms are fantastic. Car parking available also a bonus. The management brilliant nothing to much effort. You also have the benefit of good selection of restaurants in walking distance. Be advised by management. Plus good advice for golf people and courses in the area Thank you for the help here M&C

Staying at “la port Saint Malo” was a wonderful experience! We spent three nights in this wonderfully clean, intimate, friendly and helpful hotel! The owners: a young couple, Kevin and Roxana, are a hard working and beautifully positive and helpful. We called in a day before our reservation and added a day, arriving two hours later to a sweet welcome and a quick recommendation for a local restaurant- that Kevin was quick to book for us. They helped us find parking nearby the hotel. And the short walk to the old city was magic. We stayed in two different rooms (due to the sudden change in plans and late reservation), and both were beautifully renovated, while respecting the original architecture. Our double room with a balcony had a wonderful big shower. The breakfast was rich and varied, with lots of fresh local products. Dinan was a joy to be in and the hotel was a highlight!

L'albergo è posizionato a Lanvallay, sul porto-canale Rance, che la separa da Dinan, che domina più in alto. Bel complesso architettonico, senza ristorante, con però buona colazione mattutina. Personale gentile. Il parcheggio è ampio e gratuito, però un ingresso, quello in alto, è chiuso da una cancellata, mentre in basso è accessibile da chiunque. Mi permetto di fare altri rilievi: i contenitori delle uova, della pancetta ecc. hanno i coperchi da sollevare e non c'è lo spazio dove depositarli mente a fatica si tiene il piatto in cui mettere uova e pancetta; non c'era un tovagliolo per avvolgere il pane ed evitare che le mani lo toccassero mentre lo si affettava (liquido antibatterico prima, ok, ma poi, dopo aver riempito i bicchieri, le tazze, preso del formaggio ecc.?); luci del corridoi ad accensione un pò ritardata con fotocellula; luce tra camera e stanza da bagno sempre con fotocellula, che disturba di notte chi sta dormendo sia con la luce viva, sia con il rumore dello scatto di accensione e di spegnimento, ecco perché non ho messo il voto massimo per la qualità del sonno.

Welcomed by a really helpful staff member who gave us a map and pointed out restaurants and places of interest. He also found us an electric fan for the room as the weather was gloriously hot! Room small but clean and functional. Breakfast varied and tasty. No problems at all with our 3 night stay. We paid extra for secure parking which was well worth the money.
