Holiday Island Resort & Spa Maldives

The resort is located on a large island with beautiful white beaches. For leisure, the resort offers everything you could wish for. The food in the main restaurant was very good, with a large selection. From arriving on the island and being picked up by Ms. Eliza, who took care of our stay on the island, from Mr. Zakir (housekeeping) who made sure that everything was clean and tidy, right up to the main restaurant by Mr. Ibrahim, Ahmed, Fatmih and their team, who made sure that we were served in the best way, it was perfectly organized. We will definitely recommend Villa Park Sun Island. Thank you 🙏

Had the most fabulous stay here at Canareef although it’s the furthest island we have visited in the Maldives don’t let the journey put you off it is worth every single minute . The crossing the equator certificate is a lovely touch too. On arrival the staff are there to greet you, you are given a gorgeous hand made necklace a cold drink and a cold towel as a welcome it’s such lovely touches that are the start to a fabulous holiday. Everything is perfect from the beautiful surroundings to the gorgeous rooms and the most welcoming attentive staff team I’ve ever known. The food was always a very high standard and the staff cared wether you got things you liked. This is also true for every aspect of the island the staff care that you are happy with everything. There’s gorgeous little finds dotted about here and there while you are looking round like swings and seats overlooking the ocean or the lagoon. It’s peaceful and stunning. There are little parts that aren’t as perfect as others but it’s a big island and they are getting round to it. I love how they are nurturing the nature aspect of the island. We were involved in the coral transplantation which was amazing. They really are trying to do their bit for the environment which is nice to see. We stayed in a jacuzzi villa which was perfect. Cleaned twice daily and nothing is too much trouble. Bikes are provided at your room at no extra charge my husband used his every day , however after falling off twice 😂 I gave up and called for buggies every time. The drivers and the buggies are great for getting around. It’s a big island too so they were really handy. The spa was beautiful. Again the attention to detail made it a fabulous experience, the treatments I had were amazing. Staff again were lovely. Every single person who worked on the island really cared that you enjoyed your holiday they really did. They are genuinely interested in making your time there the best it can be. Everyone works tirelessly to keep guests happy. I would definitely recommend Canareef. If you get the opportunity to visit then do you won’t be disappointed. We would happily have stayed another week ( or two 😉)

Exellent resort with great service team ,specially Mr.Nizam was very helpfull with all kind of things or problems on island .Weather was perfect like on rainy season ,Island is Paradise,just come and see on your eyes🙂🌴

Провели неделю в этом отеле с мужем . Приезжали отпраздновать мой юбилей . Но видимо у мужа началась оклиматизация и он слег в первый же день с температурой 39,4. Боль в сердце. Вызов врача ночью в номер. Отельный врач пришел на помощь . Сделал ЭКГ в своем медпункте, капельницу с парацетамолом . Наутро отвезли анализы на соседний остров , чтобы понять , что с организмом . Назначил антибиотики . Муж через полтора дня ( как раз на мой день рождения) поднялся с постели ! Благодарю от души доктора Dr Banuj и его помощника Nurse Jaffar за профессионализм, большое сердце , помощь 🙏🙏❤️❤️ Гугл переводчик нам был в помощь при общении .

Top Hotel. Tolle Lage. Die Getränke sind sehr teuer. Island Hopping unbedingt mitmachen. Die Massagen sind Traumhaft. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Nach 1 stunden haben sie die komplette Insel erkundigt :)

Viajamos a Sun Island Resort para celebrar nuestro aniversario de boda y fué una experiencia maravillosa, la isla es un paraiso y el resort muy bonito, bonitas instalaciones y comodo, el staff del resort inmejorable, super atentos y amables, muy agradecidos a todos y en especial a NIZAM que se ocupó personalmente de nuestro bienestar en el resort. Perso je préfère des plus petites structures Tous le personnel est adorable HABSSA parle français désolé si j’ai mal orthographié votre non le spa est top et la villa (111m2) n’a qu’une chambre salon donc si vous êtes avec de la famille .. aucune intimité

Wir waren das 1. Mal auf den Malediven und es war für uns ein traumhafter Urlaub. Für Personen mit Handicap nicht immer einfach wegen dem weiteren Weg von den Waterbungalows zum Restaurant o lobby. Bei Gehbehinderung empfiehlt es sich bei Buchung auf einen nahegelegenen Bungalow zu achten. Wir hatten 332, das war grenzwertig, besser wäre noch eine niedrigere Nr. Buggytranfer ist bis zum Steg der Bungalows jederzeit möglich, bis zum Haus nur in Ausnahmen. Die Seite zur Lagune würden wir im Übrigen, zumindest in der regenreicheren Zeit empfehlen. Es war einige Tage sehr windig und hat zwischendurch mal geschüttet. Auf der Terrasse zu sitzen war ganz sicher zur Meerseite da nicht möglich, im Gegensatz zu Terrasse Richtung Lagune. Die Zimmer sind sauber, mit einfacher, älterer Ausstattung. Bad 70'/80'ger Jahr Stil. Die Möbel sind durch die Feuchtigkeit teils, Türen durch das Salzwasser stark in Mitleidenschaft gezogen. Bei der Preiskategorie wäre eine bessere Instandhaltung empfehlenswert. Steckdosenadapter passen nicht immer, da es noch ältere Steckdosenformate gibt. Da hilft bei Problemen aber der Housekeeper schnell und zuverlässig. Egal was es war, Probleme wurden prompt behoben. Von der Terrasse aus gibt es eine Treppe direkt ins Meer. So beginnt der Tag schonmal entspannt im glasklaren Wasser. Nicht wundern, da schwimmen auch mal eben so heimische Haie und Rochen an einem vorbei, welche harmlos sind, wenn man sie zufrieden läßt. Schnorcheln lohnt sich auch im umgebenden Wasser, wenn auch nur kleinere Korallenriffe. Tauchen sicherlich nochmal ein Highlight obendrauf. Wir waren Mitte Sept dort für 10 Ü, windig bis stürmisch war es abends/nachts immer. 1 Tag komplett schlechtes Wetter, wobei immer warm. Ansonsten kam und ging mal Regen, 5 Tage komplett sonnig und dann wird es richtig heiß in der Sonne. Hoher UV Schutz sehr ratsam. Abzug für die all inkl Leistung. All inkl essensmäßig beschränkt auf 1 Restaurant u. Snackbar. Mocktails ( Cocktails o. Alkohol) Cocktails mit Alkohol deutlich größere Auswahl. Gläser für AI Getränke deutlich kleiner als bei zu bezahlenden. Preise für diese, variieren dann zwischen 8 - 15$. Nervig manchmal, dass man für alkoholfreie, sowie alkoh Getränke unterschreiben musste. Das ist für uns kein all inkl. Nicht jeder Gast ist ein Säufer. Den Preisaufschlag für AI sollte man sich daher bei Buchung ausrechnen, wenn man einen normalen Verbrauch an Getränken hat. Raucher, vergesst nicht im duty free Euch Zigaretten zu kaufen. Vor Ort seid Ihr mit stattlichen 16 $ für eine kl. Packg dabei. Im Flugzeug gibt es derzeit solche Angebote nicht, zumindest bei der LH. Alles geht auf Kreditkarte. Bargeld wurde nirgends angenommen, außer als Trinkgeld. Besonders herausheben möchten wir die außerordentliche Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft der Angestellten, was zur Erholung und Entspannung vorrangig beigetragen hat.
