Abbiamo fatto un'ora di vacanza a Deidesheim il fine settimana. L'hotel è situato al bordo di Deidesheim, direttamente nelle vigne. La reception ci ha ricevuti molto gentile. La nostra stanza era molto pulita e spaziale. Il letto (letto matrimoniale) era molto comodo, quindi abbiamo dormito molto bene. Anche il bagno con doccia e toletta era molto pulito. Il buffet per colazione non lascia aperti desideri, la scelta è molto buona. E' stata una grande scelta, proprio per i pane freschi. C'è anche un bel quartiere di benessere con sauna. L'hotel è particolarmente adatto per camminare e andare in bicicletta nella bella palla. Anche i numerosi prodotti vitivinicoli meritano una visita (prova e acquisto). Ci piacerebbe tornare. Un'alta qualità dell'hotel è una vecchia cassetta musicale che funziona e offre belle canzoni. Torneremo.

Vorweg: Die bisherigen negativen Ausführungen sind überholt. Das Hotel hat an sich gearbeitet. Das fängt in der nett gestalteten Lobby und im freundlichen Empfang an. Es wurde ausführlich über alles wissenswerte informiert. Hunde sind erlaubt! Da es in der Nähe keine Parkplätze gibt, wird angeboten für 13 Euro in der Tiefgarage zu parken. Das öffentliche Parkhaus berechnet 15 Euro. Die Lage ist sehr günstig. Vom Bahnhof sind es wenige Meter. Die Innenstadt ist gleich daneben. Das Hotel wurde gründlich renoviert, trotzdem sieht man dem Hotel den 70er-Flair an. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Zum Empfang stand eine Flasche Wasser bereit. Schokolädchen wurden vermisst. Die Minibar war leer. Die Temperatur konnte nur durch Öffnen des Fensters gesteuert werden; es war eindeutig zu warm! Das Zimmer ging zur Straße raus. Die Fenster sind aber schallisoliert. Das Bad ist geräumig. Allerdings irritierte die Bad/Dusch-Kombi. Sehr gut bewerte ich den Roomservice, der nur auf Bestellung kommt. Ich hasse es, wenn fremde Menschen mit meinen Sachen umgehen. Das Schwimmbad ist gut zu erreichen, sauber und passend temperiert. Das Frühstück hat eine reiche Auswahl mit laktose- und glutenfreien Speisen. Die Brötchen sind allerdings Aufbackware. Der Service ist sehr gut. Das Personal immer ansprechbar. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Es gab ein 3-Gänge-Menü. Suppe ok, Hauptgang mittelmäßig. Die Desserts gingen gar nicht. Die Vanillesoße schmeckte intensiv nach Zitrone. Die Panacotta hatte eine merkwürdige Konsistenz. Insgesamt nicht empfehlenswert. Il personale è tutti molto gentile. La stanza è spaziosa e non si sente intagliata. In generale, il nostro soggiorno è stato piacevole. Possiamo anche prenotare spontaneamente la colazione non prenota per alcuni giorni. Tuttavia, nel nostro caso, la curabilità non è stata pienamente rispettata: abbiamo ordinato il servizio di pulizia quotidiano, che è un'offerta eccellente, perché non è necessario per un soggiorno così breve. La stanza era stata sempre rivolta il fine settimana, ma la stanza non era pulita al nostro arrivo. Il nodo del bagno era pieno di polvere, i vetri posti per la bottiglia d'acqua contenuta nel prezzo avevano ancora labbra di penna dal visitatore preliminare e nel lavabo c'era ancora un capello spruzzato con grassi visibili della pelle. Non abbiamo usato i bicchieri e abbiamo pulito il bagno stesso. La stanza e il bagno erano in buono stato. Per i suoi scopi, si poteva essere soddisfatti del rapporto prezzo-prezzo. Si chiede spesso se tutto sia in ordine e si può esprimere la sua critica direttamente se ci sono problemi.

We travelled to Ludwigshafen for business and looked for hotels near to the work premises, unfortunately the 'Excelsior Hotel' was first in the list. At only 90 euros a night (including breakfast) it is no doubt a 'budget' option, but it isn't budget in the respect of a Travelodge or Premier Inn, instead it's a lost hotel in a pretty unpleasant area which has been left to decay. The hotel is a short walk from the railway station, graffiti-covered walls surround the hotel, and the first impression of the hotel visually is not a positive one, it's hard to even find the way in, amongst scaffolding and concrete jungle. At night, it's a fairly unsafe-feeling area, with people 'hangin around' looking suspicious. The one positive aspect upon booking was the 'Skybar', however digging deeper into reviews, it's clear that it's been closed long before the 'pandemic', infact 4 years ago, and upon arrival we were informed that it's still closed with no future planned. There is no restaurant onsite, nor bar besides a mini-fridge sat on the reception desk with a few bottles of beer available. Upon check-in, I was also asked for my 'date of birth' and home address, which often feels irrelevant, I refused to give such details. Once in the room, via the lift which takes about 5 minutes to arrive and to move, there's no air conditioning which during 32c weather was painful, but fortunately there was a fan. The room size isn't bad at all and the bed was comfortable, but the presentation of the room, as a new guest, wasn't considerate. A pile of electrical extension and cables was next to my bed, not tucked away out of sight. The internet connection was virtually useless in the afternoon/evenings after guests start to utilise it, I resorted to using mobile data instead. There are balconies, but they're just concrete and far from cosy, although the view over the city isn't at all bad. There is no furniture and in addition from a security aspect someone could easily go from their balcony to yours, therefore always be sure to lock and chain the balcony door when not in the room, or at night. At night, you can hear noise from neighbouring rooms, above, below and to the sides, I am also fairly sure that I had 3 'bed-bug' bites from my two night stay at the hotel. Breakfast was included in my 90 euro rate and the breakfast restaurant isn't bad, the service is friendly but the choice is limited, a few cold options and minimal hot options, no bacon or sausages unfortunately. It was a little off-putting to see mouse-traps being laid around the restaurant while I was sat trying to enjoy my meal. While away from the hotel, I left the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door, despite this upon return later that afternoon the cleaner had been into the room and cleaned, this is not acceptable when the message is clearly made that the room should not be disturbed.
