Mooka 's Home (Backpackers)

A very nice clean hostel, with really comfy beds & an amazing host! 🧡 She helped us book several activities and was so friendly. The breakfast was also delicious. 🥑

Mooka's Home is really one-of-a-kind. It is a beautiful, and beautifully run place to stay. It's clean, so friendly, and the food offered - including daily breakfast, and a roof-top BBQ every other day - is really very good. The BBQ in particular was a real highlight, with excellent vegan options. Da Lat is also a really nice place to visit. We would recommend the Easy-Rider day tour, which can be easily arranged by Mooka's Home, but was never pushed on us to do. Since staying there we have been recommending Mooka's Home to other travellers along our way who have said they are heading to the area, and we would definitely stay there again! The property was sparkling clean, with large bedrooms and great facilities. The absolute star of the show was Van, our host and her family. Van couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating, with a great sense of humour, we will miss her and are very grateful to her. We had such a lovely time at Mooka’s Home and in Dalat that we extended our stay there. We can’t recommend it more highly. The breakfast was fabulous, we booked some wonderful tours through Van and the Korean BBQ every other evening was a must, so delicious and a great way to socialise.

Best hostel in Dalat. The staff are so warm and welcoming, Mooka gives a great personal touch. Their house dog is so cute! The family dinner they do is great, even for veggies. Mooka has great recommendations and transport is cheap. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely stay again. Recommend to anyone going to Dalat, it’s so worth it.

Mooka's home was probably one of the best, if not the best, accomodation that we have had in our seven weeks in Vietnam. Really warrants its 5-star rating. The host was incredibly friendly and it really feels like you're walking into a home away from home. Cleanliness, price, facilities and amenities are all top notch. Rented motorbikes twice at great prices, organized our bus to HCM with them which was great too! Book with breakfast, as you can choose your dish every day, and the quality was really high. Please join the rooftop BBQ dinner on one of your nights, you won't regret it! Thank you so much for making our stay so great ♥️

Great place to stay! Rooms and bathrooms are big, modern and clean. Owners are very nice and will help you with anything. Also had a great family dinner on the rooftop. Breakfast is great as well. The tours that you can book through the reception are also worthwhile, they work with very professional guides.

A good bed with clean sheets, curtains, storage locker, charger port and reading light. They also offer, snacks, drinks, tours, bike rental ect. which will be paid by the end of your stay. The owner is very sweet and is willing to go that extra mile to make sure that her customers is happy. They speak good English as well which is very nice.

Great place! Family owned. The owners were so nice and helped us out a lot with tours and so on. They organised bbq-dinners on the roof for travellers, which is highly recommended! It was so cheap staying here. And the rooms and bathrooms were tidy and clean! Definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Although it’s about 2KM from where bus drops you off the location is about 20 minutes walk into the town where the night market is. The host and her family were really friendly. The atmosphere in the hostel was relaxed and we felt right at home. The beds were spacious, firm but comfortable. Curtains blocked out the light. There was no aircon but rotating fans which helped when it got stuffy. The road the hostel is on is quiet apart from the odd animal in the mornings. Breakfast was great, plenty of options and delicious. We were informed of buses and also rented a scooter which made our trip even better. This is one of the few hostels where I have seen them actively clean the rooms and we even got clean towels every other day. Would highly suggest staying here is in Da Lat! Thanks again ☺️
