This is not a 5 star listed hotel ! But I give it 5 stars because it is genuine and it was a pleasure to be a guest here. They deserved this high rating for warmness of staff, a clean and well appointed hotel. Thank you for a great visit.

Very Very small room, never seen a room as small as this one. Nonetheless nicely appointed. Linens were very nice, bed super comfortable. Bathroom recently renovated, modern and clean. Hotel staff very friendly. Overpriced for the size of the room. Continental breakfast was minimal at best. Prepackaged muffins, croissants, fruit cups! Coffee was decent but we basically had to go out to breakfast anyway. The limited parking is a HUGE issue. We checked in around 3:30 and had a spot in the tiny lot, went out to dinner and to a show at Rama. We arrived back at the hotel after midnight in a blinding blizzard only to have nowhere to park. They directed us to an offsite lot, two blocks away-not a big deal unless it is late at night and a blizzard out. And what about guests with limited mobility? The next morning we had to schlep our bags to the offsite parking, around 8 inches of snow had fallen. While cleaning off my car I discovered a $50 parking ticket, so I had to make my way back to the hotel again to present it to them. They said they would take care of it, but I have kept a photo of it just in case as it will go on my license if it's not paid. Upon attempting to exit the unplowed parking lot, the city went by on the street with the plow and a huge windrow blocked me from exiting. As I sat in my car contemplating who to call about my dilemma, a kind Orillia citizen pulled over, asked me if I was blocked in and proceeded to get a shovel out of his trunk and dig me a path out of the parking lot. He was certainly the bright spot to my morning! Would I stay at this hotel again? No, the room was way way too small for my liking, breakfast was a joke and the parking issue was inconvenient.

Il mio soggiorno di venerdì sera all'hotel è stato probabilmente il peggiore di tutti gli hotel. Questo è stato il mio viaggio all'hotel quando in Orillia. Il personale è fantastico e le camere sono pulite. Il venerdì si è svolto un torneo di hockey a Orillia, e l'hotel è stato prenotato con le famiglie e i bambini. Tutti i regolamenti e le regole comuni sono stati ignorati e la gestione non ha fatto nulla. Bevande (in ogni corridoio), skateboard e ghiaccio combatte dalla macchina del ghiaccio fino alle 1:00. I bambini di età compresa tra 3 e 17 anni hanno potuto urlare e urlare senza rimbalzo. Mi sono trasferito nella camera più tranquilla dell'hotel, ma non c'era alcun sollievo. Le auto del parcheggio posteriore fanno dei donut e la musica. Perché è consentito? Questo è un grande hotel con personale eccezionale. Tutto ciò è stato negato dalla direzione senza avere una politica per i fine settimana di torneo. Almeno si dovrebbe spiegare al momento della prenotazione che il 90% delle camere saranno riempite di patroni egoisti, crash che non hanno rispetto per gli altri.
