Il luogo era vicino all'aeroporto di Cairns, facile da trovare e vicino a un pub. La stanza era tipica del tipo di motel ”auto fuori front”. Nessuno era alla reception quando arrivammo, ma sono stati controllati da un membro del personale del pub. Era molto piacevole e spiegava la carenza di personale che ogni impresa stava vivendo a causa del COVID . La stanza era pulita e più che adeguata per la 1 notte. Siamo stati svegliati da altri ospiti alle 2, ma questo è ovviamente non è colpa del motel. Il pub vicino alla porta aveva pochi clienti e un menu limitato. E' cosi' difficile giudicare ovunque nei tempi. Il motel non ha fatto nulla di male e ha fornito quello che volevamo, doccia calda, TV e wifi che funzionava. Macca era vicino alla porta, quindi il colazione era disponibile se volevi.

Ci piace l'atmosfera dell'ambiente, dove pranza oggi.Seduto in una piscina all'aperto nascosta, pensiamo che possiamo fare vacanze ovunque nel mondo.Siamo tutti e sei soddisfatti dei nostri pasti e pensano che valgano molto. Abbiamo un salsa di 19 dollari con un sapore profumo nella camicia. Tre menu a prezzi super speciali (sono stati chiusi) $15, tra cui un bicchiere di vino, birra, bevande morbide, caffè, e $15 un altro prezzo molto personale, tra cui un hamburger di pollo e un pomodoro.Il personale di aspettativa è molto amichevole. L'unica lamentazione che abbiamo è: ”Perché non abbiamo trovato questo posto prima”.

Nice large clean room, plenty of tea, coffee etc. provided. Staff very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Raintrees Shopping centre across the road where busses leave for the city every few minutes, there was even a covered waiting area just outside the resort for tour pick ups. I definitely recommend Palm Royale.

Questo campeggio è più vicino alla città, probabilmente per questo è un sito molto occupato con poco spazio tra i campeggi, anche se non è troppo cattivo. Sfortunatamente, ci siamo posti in un posto che probabilmente è il più brutto del campo, in forma triangolare, con l'acqua affollata molto lontano e una cattiva ricezione WiFi, ma era piuttosto fotogenica, perché una vera verità si pendeva su di essa. Il campeggio ha un bel posto e una bella piscina, ma solo sei letti da bagno, che sono naturalmente in uso continuamente. Non mi sbagli; abbiamo avuto un bel soggiorno, ma sono stati solo sfortunati con il sito che immagino. È stato a 30-40 minuti a piedi da lì al centro di Cairns.

Stayed here for 2 nights over easter. Chose a King room and on arrival were upgraded to a King Suite on Level 5. View across to Cairns and up to the mountains was very relaxing and with a largish lounge area separate to the King bedroom there is plenty of room to relax if it is an extended stay. For those who like the exercise its not s huge walk into the city especially if you go a few blocks to the foreshore parklands and wander along that way. Busses (quite a few) run along Sheridan Street as an alternate and a taxi ride is only a few $. Airport is also a short taxi trip and the hotel will have one outside within minutes as they did for us a couple of times. Hotel staff are very helpful and the restaurant serve very good meals. We ate there 3 times for evening meals. Next door is Dunwoody's Hotel which offers a great alternate for an evening meal or a nights entertainment (once their renovations are complete).

For the price this place offers everything you need. The pool and kitchen area are appealing and a feature of the hotel. The secure car parking is great. The room itself has all the basics and a few extras like hair dryer and ironing board. The hot water and shower are excellent. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. Should you like a walk, the hotel is around a 30 to 40 minute walk to the foreshore lagoon area. Set in a generally quiet area with a few nearby shops and food outlets.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 5 notti in totale e non potevamo essere più impressionati con le camere e il servizio presso Tropic Towers. Le prime impressioni erano già grandi, perché ho chiesto di cambiare alcune date a causa di un soggiorno di notte a Fitzroy Island - Peta non avrebbe potuto essere più utile e ha fatto modifiche alla nostra prenotazione gratuita, anche se ho chiamato il giorno prima del nostro soggiorno. Quando siamo arrivati, Peta ci ha spiegato la zona come la nostra prima volta a Cairns. Abbiamo soggiornato in un appartamento di 1 camera e 2 camera da letto durante il nostro tempo a Tropic Towers, entrambi intagliati, spaziosi e come una casa lontana da casa. La cucina completa in entrambe le stanze non ci ha fatto problemi a cucinare per una coppia di sera, ma abbiamo anche una bella vista sul sole dai nostri balconi! Peta ci ha offerto di lasciare due delle nostre valigie con lei per la notte del nostro soggiorno in Fitzroy Island, invece di doverle portare sull'isola con la nave. Grazie ancora Peta :)

Siamo stati svegliati da altri ospiti alle 2, ma questo è ovviamente non è colpa del motel. Il pub vicino alla porta aveva pochi clienti e un menu limitato. E' cosi' difficile giudicare ovunque nei tempi. Il motel non ha fatto nulla di male e ha fornito quello che volevamo, doccia calda, TV e wifi che funzionava. Macca era vicino alla porta, quindi il colazione era disponibile se volevi.
