A 7 minuti di macchina dal centro di Cairns, circa 40' a piedi, questo campeggio è servito anche da un bus pubblico (123) e da altri che arrivano vicino. Ci sono tanti servizi (lavatrice, asciugatrice, stireria), complesso sportivo e campo base per camper. La reception è molto attiva per prenotare escursioni e supportare. Le camere delle casette sono abbastanza larghe e con 3 letti (uno sopra per lasciare più spazio). I bagni sono puliti continuamente e la security passa continuamente. Un bagno solo è poco per tante casette, ma ce ne sono altri a pochi passi, al centro del campeggio. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo. L'aeroporto è a 15' di taxi o uber.

Venturing further afield on a Dive trip we stayed a few days before and after going out to Sea on a dive charter at NRMA Cairns. We stayed in their cabins, which are quiet, clean and very convenient to easily base our selves while enjoying the attractions of Cairns. The rooms have comfortable beds, very clean, roomy enough and have air conditioning which helps to get a good nights sleep. We prepaid breakfast in the small outside kitchen enjoyed the friendly staff while they did their work. I will stay here a rain any time. Cheers Peter

Very comfortable stay. Secure and other guest are respectful and keep the noise level down. Not quite walking distance to shops, but can easily drive around to get what you need. Very well maintain site.

This campsite is closest to the city. Probably therefore, it is a very busy site with not a lot of space between the campsites, although it is not too bad at all. Unfortunately, we were put on a spot that is probably the roughest in the campground; uneven, triangle shaped, with the water hookup quite far out and poor wifi reception. It was however quite photogenic since a huge true was hanging over it. Campground's got nice amenities and a nice pool but just 6 poolbeds to go around, which are of course continuously in use. Don't get me wrong; we did have a nice stay but were just unlucky with the site I guess. It was a 30 to 40 minute walk from there to the downtown Cairns-area.

I stayed in a lodge for a few nights. What I liked: - Reception staff are friendly & helpful - Bed was comfortable - Easy to get to Cairns by bus (if one doesn’t have a car) What I liked less: - I arrived at midnight and there was no one to check me in. The keys had been left in a safe box and were easy to find. However, it was challenging to find the lodge in this huge holiday park at night when all lights had been turned off. I was travelling solo and it wasn’t great! Also, I bumped into someone who looked quite rough that evening. He was wearing torn clothes & seemed intoxicated. He didn’t look like a guest. - It’s a bit edgy. The taxi drivers were constantly telling me to be careful in this neighborhood, especially at night.

The property had what we needed and was walkable to many things. AC and a clean room, which was very nice

We stayed for a few weeks. Great park and not too big so it's nice and quiet. The amenities are well kept and plentiful. Nice pool with lots of toys to use and great camp kitchen area. The staff are friendly and accommodating, we have no complaints.

Whilst Reception was good, the cleanliness of the facilities left me wishing I had not booked a campsite for 3 nights. The camp kitchen was dirty: tables had a grooved metal surface making it impossible to thoroughly clean one. The floor was not cleaned on a daily basis. A large number of condiments were left, some of which past expiry date. The fridges were adequate in number, but nothing was marked. This creates a source of out of date and mouldy food. Rubbish bins were open, making an unpleasant source of flies. The dish washing area was small and inadequate for the number of campers. A very disappointing place.

I am writing this review to let everyone know that there are Indigenous kids (a fellow camper caught them one night) that come around at around 4am every night and steal. We had $90 board shorts stolen, fellow campers have had phones, wallets and bikes being stolen. PLEASE, be very careful at night time. Extremely disheartening to say the least to have this happen, and I really felt the need to let everyone know. It is a beautiful, natural looking park, just watch out for the bats as well!
