The building is only a few years old but already showing early signs of wear in public areas. However the room itself was very clean and well designed. We stayed in a base rate room and while on the smaller side was ample space for what we needed. The king bed was very comfortable and the shower was spacious and great pressure. A coffee machine with pods is provided. Access to the hotel from the west is extremely easy but if you are approaching from the east there is no way to turn right into the hotel and you have to go a fair way down the road before you can turn around and come all the way back. Once on property there is a nice curved driveway to park while you are checking in. Parking onsite was $35 but as I had read these reviews I knew to ask about the street parking and was told it would cost $15. I said ‘I thought on the weekends it was free’ and they responded ‘oh yes, we can give you complimentary parking’ (Haha). The staff were very friendly. The street parking is on the street along the nearby river (Yarra Blvd) and takes 1 min to walk across a grass parkland to this street. On the weekend it seemed a very quiet street and safe to park. This street parking is metered parking between 8am-5pm Mon- Fri so the hotel can provide a pass for $15 but if your stay is outside these hours you can park for free. The tram station is immediately out the front of this hotel so although it is a fair way from the CBD it is easy access to Melbourne. Our T.V. remote was not working (maybe old batteries) so we were unable to watch T.V. and the clock beside the bed lit up the time while the lights were on but seemed to be light activated because once all lights were switched of it also switched off so you could not see the time during the night - so keep your phone clock handy.

One of the WORST hotel experiences ever had! Please, don't book! Our Stay/Room - Bed side tables were FILTHY. Had a layer of dust all over it! - My wife and child (who both suffer from sever asthma), were triggered by the amount of dust that was all over the room. Window seals, curtains, bed side tables, EVERYTHING was dirty. Not sure how much cleaning happens at Amora. - The carpet was just disgusting. So much so, that we did not put our small toddler on the floor/carpet once. Had to put a towel down (no blankets provided) - Bath robes still had Makeup ALL OVER IT - We found a pair of somebody’s socks under the bed..... - Balcony was sooooo dirty. It was flooded with water. Couldn't even walk out there. Dining at Amora - A pathetic excuse for a ''restaurant” - EXTREMELY overpriced. Complete rip-off - My pasta was sloppy, overcooked and had ZERO flavour - Chips were good. That's about it - Staff looked constantly confused at basic requests - We only ate here because it was raining and we didn't want to bring our kids out into the rain Location - The only thing that was good.... Never have I stayed at such a run-down, tired, disgustingly filthy hotel at TOP PRICE. What an ABSOLUTE RIP OFF! Felt more stressed and tired from having stayed here. What a complete waste of money.

Abbiamo avuto un appartamento a due camere, che era eccellentemente dotato di letti molto confortevoli e una terrazza. L'appartamento era molto pulito e i guanti sono stati cambiati dopo pochi giorni. La posizione è molto buona con molti ristoranti e caffetterie in un ambiente a piedi, nonché con collegamento tram diretto al centro della città. Eravamo così entusiasti che abbiamo prenotato per un ulteriore soggiorno immediatamente.

Buona camera familiare con 2 letti di buona dimensione. Grande bagno. Mantenuto pulito ma beneficiato di un aria condizionata quotidiana. Calmo, solo il rumore annoiante era la famiglia con bambini piccoli saltando a mezzanotte nella nostra notte scorsa - il bar non interrompeva il sonno. Conveniente per caffè, fornitori di pasticceria, supermercato di Coles. Vicino ai tram e addestrare così facile da viaggiare nel centro. Amichevole e utile personale. Mangiamo una volta nel bar - buon cibo pub.

The Como just gets it right. I stay here frequently for business and I must say Accor's frequent stayer program is the best. This hotel always recognises my status, I love my free drink voucher which I use to get a coffee in the morning. The rooms are quiet, large and clean. Location is excellent and sometimes I get upgraded, the rooms with little outdoor courtyards are amazing.

I had an amazing stay at Olsen Art Series in South Yarra. Ulia was so friendly during check-in and did well at recognising my gold status. I was ecstatic when I was upgraded to room 608, which had a kitchenette and was located on a high floor. The pool was lovely, and I really enjoyed the welcome amenity, which was my favorite Pinot wine. They allowed me to check out later, which was really helpful. The rate was great, and the hotel is located in a really fun part of town. The sheets were comfortable, and I loved that there was complimentary water. The hotel is also near the train station. Housekeeping did an amazing job, and the only feedback I have is that the towels could be fluffier and the sink enamel is starting to peel. Overall, I had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend this hotel! Letitia C

L'hotel era grande, moderno e pulito. Il personale dell'hotel era grande, accogliente, ma i servizi li lasciarono un po' giù. Qualche confusione o altro con una persona del personale al caffè, ma il personale dell'hotel aveva ordinato tutto. Il cibo era grande al caffè. La camera era pulita e pulita, anche se la struttura del bagno non aveva molto senso e si è spazzata. La posizione per noi era buona, quindi sicuramente pensava di rimanere di nuovo.

My boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ovolo South Yarra. Such a cool, funky hotel! The perks were great and the bed was so comfortable. All of the staff were lovely. My boyfriend loves art so we really enjoyed walking around and seeing all the cool art and decor. Very happy, fun vibe. Great location as well which suited us perfectly as we planned to have drinks with friends in Chapel Street that night. We were able to wander around and check out a near by gallery, Prahran market and various shops on Chapel Street. They also have a check out time of 11.00 which was so good as we find the check out time at most hotels is too early and its always a rush to get packed, shower and get ready, have breakfast and get out the door. Would definitely recommend! Thanks for a great stay. :)

Ok, ecco nuovi appartamenti a servizio in una posizione molto grande, vicino alla stazione South Yarra. Avendo un lavandino e una cucina (non è una cucina completa) è molto conveniente E 'stato pulito e moderno, quindi perché solo 3 stelle. - le 2 unità di letto sono molto piccole. Sono la stessa dimensione quadrata della maggior parte delle 1 camere da letto che ho vissuto. Non è un problema per una coppia di notti, ma si fa schifo dopo una settimana - il doccia non ha sigillo e lo scarico è posto in modo scorretto, quindi le inondazioni del bagno ogni volta che lo usate. Non è nemmeno un problema per qualche giorno, ma perché non c'è nessuna custodia quotidiana, mi sono disturbato di lavarmi le tovaglie che usavo per pulire l'inondazione. - la questione più grande per me è stata l'a/c e l'unico motivo per cui non mi fermerò di nuovo. C'è un a/c nella sala da letto, ma nessuna condotta nelle camere da letto. Non era l'altezza dell'estate quando ci siamo fermati, ma ancora ispirato. Se lasciate le porte aperte alla sala da letto, va bene, ma questo sconfigge l'obiettivo di ottenere un appartamento. Le finestre apriranno un po'ma non abbastanza per passare una brisa.Ora sto in una stanza d'albergo, ma preferisco essere onesta.
