Siamo stati solo una notte e porremo rimedio tornando l'anno prossimo! Abbiamo trovato un posto bellissimo, in pieno centro, con una vista spettacolare, camere e spazi comuni molto belli e curati in ogni dettaglio e, soprattutto, delle persone eccezionali ad accoglierci e farci sentire a casa, coccolati e assistiti in ogni nostra piccola esigenza. Al check in ci ha accolto Susanna che ci ha accompagnato dal parcheggio (proprio sotto l'hotel, comodissimo) fino alla camera, dandoci tutte le informazioni e le spiegazioni di cui avevamo bisogno. L'hotel non ha ristorante, quindi viene proposta una lista di ristoranti raggiungibili a piedi, con scelte in base al tipo di cucina e alla distanza. La colazione è disponibile in hotel ed è ottima, con scelte varie di ogni tipologia e soprattutto la possibilità di sedersi in giardino e sorseggiare un caffè ammirando la cima innevata del monte Bianco e i suoi ghiacciai scintillanti. Noi avevamo una stanza con vista sulla cima del Brévent e sul corso pedonale di Chamonix. Nonostante la strada sia sempre affollata, anche a tarda sera, la camera era comunque silenziosa e comoda, oltre che molto bella e luminosa. Molto apprezzabile anche la piccola piscina interna con saune e area relax. Sia la cabinovia di Planpraz che quella de l’Aiguille du Midi sono raggiungibili a piedi, così come qualsiasi ristorante o negozio/servizio in Chamonix.

I don't know where to begin sharing my praise for Hotel Mont-Blanc. I had a last minute change in my travel plans, and emailed Hotel Mont-Blanc to inquire about a reservation two days before arriving. They made the arrangements and started planning my visit right away! From airport transfer to relaxing in the spa until my room was ready, the staff was amazingly thoughtful and thorough. It seemed like everyone in the hotel knew exactly who I was, what activities they had arranged for me that day, and even my favorite drink. What truly sets HMB apart is the staff. The teamwork is seamless, the communication and coordination appears almost magic, and the attention to detail unmatched. Even down to politely letting me attempt to use my limited French without correction, until I would finally break and we'd continue in English haha. I can't think of another Hotel / Resort I'd rather visit for 6 days than Hotel Mont-Blanc. Michael

We only spent one night here but it was a really memorable night. We stayed in the new part of the hotel, in the rooms in the chalet where the spa and pool are located. The grounds felt very private,nice flowers and herb gardens.. nice places to sit in the garden, the staff is great (thanks Miguel and all others)... We ate at the gastronomic restaurant. I was a bit frightened about how much the bill was going to be... but not too bad. They also have another great restaurant of local dishes. The gastronomic restaurant is worth it. It's really nice, the staff is incredibly attentive and the food was really amazing. Starting from the tomatoes. Can order room service for breakfast that get's delivered on a nice tray... great choices. Our room had a big balcony. You can arrive early and use the spa and check out and use the spa. It is not the biggest spa (we only tried the sauna/steam room/ poor... and did not get any treatments), but it's nice a relaxing. I would recommend this place and look forward to going back again in the near future. It is also very close to town, so in a 5 minute walk you are on the ***** in Chamonix. They have electric bikes you can use, and parking.... running trails.............

First let me say the hotel is lovely, the suite was great. From the photos I did expect there to be a separation between the sofa bed and the main bed so it must depend which suite they give you. Ours only had just enough space to walk between the two. Most of the staff are friendly and try to be helpful (see below). Breakfast was great. You can order ”snacking” from the bar until 6pm but then the restaurant doesn't open until 7pm. We didn't use the restaurant but we did have snacking one evening. The food was good but the woman serving at the bar was terrible. Not very polite, not very helpful, almost rude. Really not what you expect in such a classy hotel. After the food was delivered (by other staff) we asked her for cutlery because it didn't come with any.....she didn't do anything. In the end I reached into the restaurant and took some off one of the tables. When my wife shortly after reached in again and took a napkin the woman from the bar complained. The location I would call average. You can walk into a busier area of town in 10 minutes or so. There's one restaurant opposite called Little Boxes which we went to a lot, it does great pizza, hamburgers, drinks, etc. After booking the room I asked the hotel for help from with transfers, equipment hire and ski school for children. Transfers - expensive at 260 Euros each way but they were good. There was a problem with the return transfer being set at the time the flight departed but fortunately I checked the day before and changed it. Equipment hire - Skiset - is in the hotel. They also look after the equipment when you're not using it (see below). Ski School - ESF - very good, the problems arose due to the hotel being some distance from Les Plenards which is where the lessons take place. You have to get there by 9am. It's 20+ minutes walk which you can't do in boots while carrying skis. The bus stop is just opposite the hotel but the woman on reception I asked told me when the bus goes but said it takes 15 minutes and you have to change. So since Skiset doesn't open until 8.30 that doesn't leave enough time. But you have to get there well before 8.30 because there will be a queue. So we ordered a taxi for 30 euros. Turns out the buses go at 8.24 and 8.44 and take 7-10 minutes direct. In the hotel there's a sign which says no ski boots in the lift. So to get the 8.24 you have to ignore that or clomb up the stairs in your boots and carrying skis and then down again in the morning. Or you can collect your skis at 8.30 and catch the 8.44 - If you can get on it. The buses are great in terms of where and when they go, the problem is there's no queue system so every time it's a battle to get on the bus. It's worse at the end of the day because everyone is tired and desperate to get back and the bus doesn't always stop in the same place so because there's no queue system it's pot luck whether you get on it. Eravamo già stati qui un paio di volte nel 2012, entrando in Francia per andare verso nord e lo stesso al ritorno. Ci era piaciuto moltissimo, sia per la posizione che per i servizi, ristorante compreso. Quest'anno abbiamo fatto sosta con la stessa intenzione. Ma che cambiamento! Il Covid ha certamente lasciato un segno, negativo. Questo Hotel ha sempre una logistica stupenda perchè ci si arriva facilmente uscendo dall'autostrada, ha un parcheggio vasto ed una bella vista del ghiacciaio del monte bianco. Però, appena entrati l'impressione è stata di un generale abbandono. Abbiamo subito scoperto che il ristorante era chiuso per mancanza di personale, un problema questo perchè non ci sono alternative nei dintorni. Ci hanno suggerito farci portare da qualche ”take away” ordinando per telefono. Comunque la stanza era pulita, il letto comodo e grande, silenzioso l'ambiente in generale. Il bagno aveva tutto l'essenziale. La colazione al mattino era anch'essa essenziale e ci è stata sufficiente. Per la cena abbiamo preso l'auto e siamo andati a Chamonix, in mezzo ad una notevole confusione per la folla, ed abbiamo cenato nel Mercure Centre. L'impressione quindi è stata, almeno quando siamo andati noi, più di un Motel alla americana. Ci si arriva, si dorme e si riparte. L'essenziale.

Vacanza molto rilassante in un hotel dotato di una posizione fantastica. L’hotel è facilmente raggiungibile in auto ma una volta arrivati si gira tutta Chamonix a piedi. Camere buone, il pavimento e il bagno necessiterebbero di una ristrutturazione. Il punto di forza e sicuramente la posizione e l’accoglienza del personale.

L'hotel è situato alla fine della strada principale e si trova a pochi passi dalla stazione di autobus. Tuttavia, direi che la posizione è ideale - è più tranquillo e ancora conveniente con molti ristoranti e negozi intorno. La vista dall'hotel è eccellente. Il colazione è anche eccellente. La stanza è leggermente piccola, ma comunque ben attrezzata. Tornerei.

1. Most, if not all, rooms have their own private balconies. These face either the back of the hotel, ie. facing the same range of the Alps as Aiguille Du Midi and Montenvers (the cable cars can be seen from the balconies), or the front of the hotel, ie. facing the city centre and Brevent (another arm of the Alps?) . The block of tree trunk which serves as a stool is very heavy! 2. It is located adjacent to the Chamonix MB train station. It is 3-5 minute-walk away from the town centre, McDonald's being one of the first easily-recognised indications. 3. The hotel interiors are mainly oak (like Ikea type): doors, table, shelves, wall fixtures. Personally love it, esp. the designs being flat and square. This was much more practical and pleasant to the sight compared to 'new' 'urban' furnishings where pieces were oddly shaped and placed. Would certainly seek to stay there again if returning.

Un hotel piacevolissimo con molte parti in legno, tipo chalet appunto. A cento metri dal centro storico, raggiungibile a piedi con facilità. Stanze comode con vista del Monte Bianco. Ottimo televisore. Caffè e thé di cortesia in camera. Bel bagno moderno. Garage coperto a pagamento, con solo un euro in più rispetto a parcheggi all'aperto. Staff giovane professionale e molto cordiale. Bella esperienza tanto che ci sono ritornata. Possibilità di prendere o non prendere la prima colazione che ho visto, però, abbondante.

In primo luogo, l'hotel è situato proprio davanti alla stazione di autobus del Chamonix South. È una posizione fantastica per coloro che usano l'autobus Flicks o l'autobus Swiss Tours. Nel hotel ci sono caffè, bar e ristoranti, che è molto facile. L'interno dell'ostello è un nuovo edificio, quindi è molto pulito e il personale è molto amichevole. La vista degli Alpi di Chamonix dall'interno della stanza è anche di migliore valore. Ci è anche un tavolo da caffè, e il bagno è molto tempestoso.

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana a febbraio per le vacanze di sci e il nostro soggiorno all'hotel è stato una grande esperienza! Viaggiamo molto per lavoro e siamo rimasti in molti hotel, ma niente di simile. L'hotel ha un fascino francese tradizionale e si trova convenientemente nel centro della città sulla strada pedonale, la stazione di autobus per gli autobus sciistici si trova proprio al retro dell'hotel. La stanza è stata ristrutturata e moderna, molto pulita e con una vista sorprendente a Mont Blanc. Ma il vantaggio più importante dell'hotel - proprietari e personale sono estremamente ospite e gioioso e ci siamo sentiti come ospiti reali, non solo come clienti. Tutto questo ha reso il nostro soggiorno inoltrabile, quindi non c'è dubbio che al nostro prossimo viaggio rimarremo lì.

Siamo stati delusi dal nostro soggiorno. La stanza si è scioccata di molle e si è schiacciata sul muro vicino alla finestra. Il riscaldamento non ha funzionato bene, quindi la stanza era fredda. Il Booking.com ha detto che abbiamo un aggiornamento gratuito per 'camera di vista montagna' (siamo stati nel 204) non abbiamo esattamente la migliore vista. Anche se comprendiamo che non si può controllare il lavoro di costruzione, svegliare fino al rumore di segatura non è ideale. Ho fatto un messaggio all'hotel prima di scrivere questo , ma mi è stato chiesto di fare un commento attraverso questa recensione.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 5 notti all'inizio di settembre. L'hotel è perfettamente situato, a pochi passi da tutto a Chamonix. E 'un hotel più vecchio stile affascinante, con alcuni aggiornamenti come piombo, ascensore ecc. Il colazione per 12 EUR era un po' prezioso, ma considerando altre opzioni, era un buon valore. Offriva cereali, yogurt, frutta, tagli freddi, formaggi, giovenche, croissant, caffè, tè e, ovviamente, deliziose baguette francesi. Era molto piccolo, ma c'era anche un tetto accessibile attraverso le scale rigide e scalzanti con 3 letti singoli, conteneva un frigorifero con poche bevande per pagare e gratis per i valori, ma non potevamo farlo funzionare. C'era spazio sufficiente per vestire e altri oggetti. Il letto era comodo. Le finestre potevano essere aperte e il fiume scorreva proprio fuori. A quest'ora dell'anno non avevamo bisogno di riscaldamento o raffreddamento. Pochi negativi: la TV era troppo piccola e messo sul tavolo nell'angolo. Non poteva guardare nulla. Inoltre, erano disponibili solo canali francesi. La luce era assolutamente insufficiente, doveva essere il flash per leggere nulla. Il Wi-Fi ******, soprattutto nelle notti. L'hotel offre una ”carta di ospite” per la durata del soggiorno, valida per tutti i trasporti pubblici nella zona, da Servoz a Valrocine. Penso che tutti gli hotel lo facciano a Chamonix. Nonostante i negativi sopra, l'hotel soddisfa le nostre esigenze e ci è piaciuto o vacanza a Chamonix.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 5 notti all'inizio di settembre. L'hotel è perfettamente situato, a pochi passi da tutto a Chamonix. E 'un hotel più vecchio stile affascinante, con alcuni aggiornamenti come piombo, ascensore ecc. Il colazione per 12 EUR era un po' prezioso, ma considerando altre opzioni, era un buon valore. Offriva cereali, yogurt, frutta, tagli freddi, formaggi, giovenche, croissant, caffè, tè e, ovviamente, deliziose baguette francesi. Era molto piccolo, ma c'era anche un tetto accessibile attraverso le scale rigide e scalzanti con 3 letti singoli, conteneva un frigorifero con poche bevande per pagare e gratis per i valori, ma non potevamo farlo funzionare. C'era spazio sufficiente per vestire e altri oggetti. Il letto era comodo. Le finestre potevano essere aperte e il fiume scorreva proprio fuori. A quest'ora dell'anno non avevamo bisogno di riscaldamento o raffreddamento. Pochi negativi: la TV era troppo piccola e messo sul tavolo nell'angolo. Non poteva guardare nulla. Inoltre, erano disponibili solo canali francesi. La luce era assolutamente insufficiente, doveva essere il flash per leggere nulla. Il Wi-Fi ******, soprattutto nelle notti. L'hotel offre una ”carta di ospite” per la durata del soggiorno, valida per tutti i trasporti pubblici nella zona, da Servoz a Valrocine. Penso che tutti gli hotel lo facciano a Chamonix. Nonostante i negativi sopra, l'hotel soddisfa le nostre esigenze e ci è piaciuto o vacanza a Chamonix.

Siamo stati solo una notte e porremo rimedio tornando l'anno prossimo! Abbiamo trovato un posto bellissimo, in pieno centro, con una vista spettacolare, camere e spazi comuni molto belli e curati in ogni dettaglio e, soprattutto, delle persone eccezionali ad accoglierci e farci sentire a casa, coccolati e assistiti in ogni nostra piccola esigenza. Al check in ci ha accolto Susanna che ci ha accompagnato dal parcheggio (proprio sotto l'hotel, comodissimo) fino alla camera, dandoci tutte le informazioni e le spiegazioni di cui avevamo bisogno. L'hotel non ha ristorante, quindi viene proposta una lista di ristoranti raggiungibili a piedi, con scelte in base al tipo di cucina e alla distanza. La colazione è disponibile in hotel ed è ottima, con scelte varie di ogni tipologia e soprattutto la possibilità di sedersi in giardino e sorseggiare un caffè ammirando la cima innevata del monte Bianco e i suoi ghiacciai scintillanti. Noi avevamo una stanza con vista sulla cima del Brévent e sul corso pedonale di Chamonix. Nonostante la strada sia sempre affollata, anche a tarda sera, la camera era comunque silenziosa e comoda, oltre che molto bella e luminosa. Molto apprezzabile anche la piccola piscina interna con saune e area relax. Sia la cabinovia di Planpraz che quella de l’Aiguille du Midi sono raggiungibili a piedi, così come qualsiasi ristorante o negozio/servizio in Chamonix.

Super hotel perfettamente situato, con una signora molto accogliente che inonda informazioni per godere del vostro soggiorno. Protocollo Covid attentamente rispettato (accesso pubblico regolato, non è disponibile colazione a scelta istituzionale ...) Camera pulita, silenziosa e piacevole. Parcheggio disponibile ma non essere pieno quindi arrivato presto importante.

Situazione centrale, estremamente vicina alla stazione ferroviaria (ma senza disturbo) e a 15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione di autobus Cham Sud; facile da trovare; tranquillo/ben isolato; distanza triviale dai principali supermercati e dai piatti alimentari; continuamente caldo (compreso il flusso costante di acqua calda); ben pulito; mobili per appartamenti in condizioni perfettamente ragionevoli; cucina ampia, cucina, vetro, cucina e strutture di stoccaggio (compreso lo spazio per la secchezza dello sci); facile accesso (via ascensori) alla piscina, Hammam vapore e sauna; personale di accoglienza utile (una maggiore consapevolezza dei trasporti e delle strutture sciistiche sarebbe un bonus); accoglimento molto piacevole in tutto il mondo. [NB. Mandati di maschera e limiti del numero di ospiti (per l'uso di strutture) attualmente in vigore - questi sono mandati dal governo/autorità, NON la gestione LaGinabelle.]

1. Most, if not all, rooms have their own private balconies. These face either the back of the hotel, ie. facing the same range of the Alps as Aiguille Du Midi and Montenvers (the cable cars can be seen from the balconies), or the front of the hotel, ie. facing the city centre and Brevent (another arm of the Alps?) . The block of tree trunk which serves as a stool is very heavy! 2. It is located adjacent to the Chamonix MB train station. It is 3-5 minute-walk away from the town centre, McDonald's being one of the first easily-recognised indications. 3. The hotel interiors are mainly oak (like Ikea type): doors, table, shelves, wall fixtures. Personally love it, esp. the designs being flat and square. This was much more practical and pleasant to the sight compared to 'new' 'urban' furnishings where pieces were oddly shaped and placed. Would certainly seek to stay there again if returning.

Ottimo soggiorno in VertLodge Chamonix, situato a pochi minuti a piedi dal Centro, presso il parco naturale e il lago Des Gaillands; ideale per appassionati di montagna ed escursioni, la vista e il panorama sono rivolti al Monte Bianco. Il locale é molto caratteristico, conserva una parte tradizionale tipica degli hotel di montagna, unendo a questi confort e modernità in uno stipe outdoor.

Abbiamo trascorso una settimana a febbraio per le vacanze di sci e il nostro soggiorno all'hotel è stato una grande esperienza! Viaggiamo molto per lavoro e siamo rimasti in molti hotel, ma niente di simile. L'hotel ha un fascino francese tradizionale e si trova convenientemente nel centro della città sulla strada pedonale, la stazione di autobus per gli autobus sciistici si trova proprio al retro dell'hotel. La stanza è stata ristrutturata e moderna, molto pulita e con una vista sorprendente a Mont Blanc. Ma il vantaggio più importante dell'hotel - proprietari e personale sono estremamente ospite e gioioso e ci siamo sentiti come ospiti reali, non solo come clienti. Tutto questo ha reso il nostro soggiorno inoltrabile, quindi non c'è dubbio che al nostro prossimo viaggio rimarremo lì.
